This means one of us would have to set up our own rig and keep it running solely for the game and hope people come on to jump in and play ! This also exposes your rig's to the world ! Ports will have to be opened and files hackable ! Any takers ? Clans around the country are cancelling their pre-orders.

Steam (HL2) is powering matchmaking multiplayer services, which mean VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) will be the "PUNKBUSTER" for the game. Just no modding or community maps unless you direct connect through O.P.P. (Other People's Ports). I'M STILL LOOKIN' TO BUY THIS GAME ! ANYONE ELSE ?

The server, if we can run it off a dedicated computer. I believe i am building a new computer for my uncle so i MIGHT be able to run his as a server for us, both TS and MW2. I will look into it.
