Wrath floated overhead, invisible to the human he fed from as he syphined the last bits of rage that filled the mans heart. It was over now, The man had reached his limit and couldn't be pushed to go any further. The source of the mans anger lay in a heap on a floor, Beaten savagely and barely alive the man had been victim of the rage of another. There was almost no anger left right now. Only the worry from the man Wrath had fed from that he had killed the man he beat so savagely moments ago.
Wrath couldn't feed on pitty and regret. He had pushed the man to his limit, and without taking the effort to make rage within him. That was to much work for wrath at the moment who felt lazy after all the feeding he had done today. It was easy to find hatred and anger in the city. So much of it that he was almost sated which happened oh so rarely. He figured another quick and easy meal and he would be satted at least for a little while. He turned away from his recent victim and took to the roof tops in search of new prey.
Though he didn't find any human that seemed more appetizing the a fighting couple or a gang banger he did find something peculiar and interesting. The power of another demon lurked withing a warehouse he passed over in his search. It had been a long time since he had been summoned in the same city as another demon. It was always more interesting the more demons were in an area the more fun it became. Wrath felt the energy but couldn't quite put his finger on who it was. Deciding it was interesting enough he moved into the warehouse and came upon the form of Vice, A demoness he hadn't seen in near a millennium. now he was really interested. Steping toward her he knew she would be able to see the monstrous form of his body but he doubted she would be allarmed.
" Greetings Vice Destroyer of Civilizations. It has been quite some time since we last spoken. How interesting that we both happened upon the same city ?" He said in a low monstrous tone that sounded as if a man and some manner of beast were speaking at the same time, two voices from one mouth. Wrath had no reason to pretend he was human. His power didn't rely on his physical appearence so his voice was of little issue. He doubted She would mind.

“No, you fool!” Vice scolded the human before her. A gust of angry wind blew through the sealed warehouse, snuffing out the candles on the table and shutting out the light they had provided. Darkness only served to deepen the outlined shadows of the black mass feathers fluttering behind the demon. Remaining entirely in the human realm was exhausting. Partially existing in the spirit realm – even if it were only a small portion of the demon’s body – took a bit of the weight off.
What remained even more physically trying than maintaining a physical presence on the human realm was tolerating the idiocy evolution had driven into humanity. If Vice had been a greater demon, there would be no need to seek out the assistance of minor witches, but reality and hierarchy were not exactly something one could fight. The witch Vice had sought out this time was hardly more than an amateur. He scarcely had the skill, control, and discipline to call himself a practicing witch. That gave Vice a starting point, knowing precisely what it was the man sought. The demon could promise the man power should he assist her, and – greedy as all humans are – he accepted with no hesitation.
Scurrying about in an attempt to relight the candles while collecting the fallen and scattered papers the gust had misplaced, he looked to the demon he had displeased. “I-I’m sorry,” he stuttered out, dropping papers all the more as he tried to focus on earning Vice’s forgiveness. “I’m not sure where I went wrong,” he tried to explain, pointing toward the notes he had written out, “I thought-”
“And that is where you went wrong,” Vice cut him off. “My patience wears thin for you. I suggest you find what you have done before I find a new witch.” How hard could a location spell be, really? If Vice had access to higher powered witches, then perhaps the demon would have had less trouble to begin with. A witch with more power is smart enough to know not to ally with a demon, though. Silly things thought they were too clever for the demon. They would have bigger concerns once Vice found what it was to be sought after.
Before the demon could continue to berate the witch, Vice heard a familiar sound address it directly. “Wrath,” the demon said, turning to greet the greater demon with a small bow of the head. “It is a pleasure to be in the presence of one such as yourself. I trust the human realm has treated you well?” The demon’s attention was now completely on the company of the greater one. The witch would not see what or whom was being addressed, but that did not matter. He needed no more distractions. “Might I ask, Wrath,” Vice inquired, “What has brought you to me?”

Wrath couldn’t help but chuckle at the presence of the would be summoner bumbling about like a fool as he tried to appease the demon who was visibly not impressed with his failures. It was so amusing sometimes the things witches did for power. Wrath fortunately had the power and presence that only powerful witches could even dare attempt to summon him. He never had to worry about a failed summoning, only what the summoner wanted of him when he was bound to the mortal realm. Of course summoning a demon like wrath required a specific need. A want of pain and anger and vengeance. The kind only those whose desperation drove them to the edge of madness and beyond the borders of morality. Such witches were few and far between. But they were still present.
The one in question here though was not worth the effort Vice was putting into it. The power it offered should have been enough for a stronger witch yet it continued to rely on such weaklings. “I am well, Vice, there is much strife in this world. So much pain and hatred its, exquisite” the demon stated, its voice a clash of several voices and its monstrous face contorting into what could only be described as a smile. At the demons next question Wrath contorted another smile.
“ I happened across this place as I was searching for another meal and sensed your presence here. It has been so long since I have seen another demon so close by that I couldn’t help but greet you.” The demon said before turning his attention the human, oblivious to the presence of a far greater demon as he toiled.
“ Have you never thought to seek stronger witches to bind you to this realm. You are no hellhound nor imp, surely your powers are worth far more than this pathetic mortals efforts. “ The demon of anger scoffed before turning its gaze back to Vice. Wrath knew Vice could do better, far better than this. So why did the demon chose this one. The curiosity Wrath felt for this was gnawing at him.
