I think I'm a bit confused. So the only person you can be is a jedi or bounty hunter that does NPC missions? |

To save me explaining everything http://www.swtor.com/. But to answer your last question no, there are 8 classes and you can choose one, 4 for republic and 4 for the sith empire (although i have heard you can switch your allegiance, dont know if that's true). Its completely free roam you even own your own ship :D and like bioware always likes to do all your actions have consequences. |

Thanks for the link! Maybe I should follow along with how it progresses. I only really looked at it when it was first announced, then shortly forgot afterwards since there wasn't that much. |

Wait a minute, why do the Old Republic soldiers look like Republic storm troopers? Is that just the armor they wore back then? |

Holy SHIT at that trailer. I'm god damned pumped for this now. Republic here I come! @Mike: I'm assuming since after the Jedi Civil War improvements were made on the Republic military, especially since at the time it wasn't that effective and armour was sub-par compared to the Sith's. e: I just really hope there isn't a monthly fee. I'd rather pay $60 at once for a game rather than pay, say $20, but then pay $10 every single month. |

Ugh republic..... prepare for political intrigue galore and liberating world's, im going bounty hunter for the sith empire as he is basically the empires version of the republic trooper, ill just dress him up in sith trooper armour. Also on the note of payments, it will most likely be a subscription game, now there might be an option to pay the full amount for a year's subscription but you can probably also pay monthly. I will personally just go for the year option if there is one. oh and on the amour thing I think davey hit it right on the head, also the fact of non cannon wise they look like clone troopers and therefore will sell the game. |

I MAY end up going Sith. It depends on my mood whenever/if I get the game. But damn... That's one thing I hate about MMO's, they cost so much damn money. If I have a job by that time, it won't be that big of an issue, but if I don't, it'll be impossible. |

Im hoping my uni grants and loans should cover me for a years run of it and then hopefully get a job to fund my addiction to it, im also hoping that the promised fibre optics NI is getting is here by then so I can play with absolutely no lag at all, im also hoping my laptop can run it :/ I may download the free warcraft trial to just test it..... I know my sister plays war craft on my crappy internet and a laptop older than mine so lets hope this all works out :/ Also sith is the way to go, evilness and plus you will just get all the clone fanboys on the republic side <_< |

I dislike paying subscription fees to online games hence why I never bought EVE but that's another story. Company of Heroes Online; unless you've bought the original games then you should be feeling; cheap-skate bastards getting Company of Heroes for free. |

Hmm, I really need to start upgrading my comp before it comes DM comes out. If I got fiber optics, do I just plug that shit in and the Internet runs faster? I am pretty dumb when it comes to upgrading. |

I came back just to say: Shit Yes to the WH40k MMO. And to those who think WoW superior to Warhammer, I have a few choice words for you. |
