Its better than Med1 by some distance.

Empire is one of the most annoying though, if only because of all the broken promises Creative Assembly made on it. Everything from a fully fledged multi campaign to uniform editing.

The campaign is an unsupported beta and the uniform editor never appeared. On top of that it eats RAM like a mexican.

Medieval II is in some ways better than rome and in others worse, couldn't be arsed getting into it but you cant say one is better than the other if you haven't tried it. Plus it must be like £10 at most so go get it :P

Ugh empire was a bitch granted cannon batteries was fun but it goes OM NOM NOM

It's so easy to win in Empire Total War, even with small armies. All you need were cannons and a fucking high ground or at least in the far back of the deployment area. The AI half the time rushes to you (will always if they're attacking).

And once you get those long range cannons, playing defensive is pointless if you just bombard the shit out of the garrison buildings.

The game itself is far too easy especially on campaign or Prussia is that fucking good. I was taking down fully stacked British armies with armies half that size.

IMO Medieval II I still like.

It doesn't help that the AI is piss poor at fighting battles :/

Napoleon is much better, the campaign is smoother too.

I like Napoleon more because the load time isn't nearly as bad, and I have a decently good dual core processor.

But fuck it I'm getting an i7 with my laptop soon.

True, what I hate about the newest two is the load times and the fact the prices god, I fucking hate Steam,

The games cost enough as it is and then they don't turn up with half the stuff they promise.

@Liroro: Yeah Rome's good but I need to use mods to keep myself interested, Roma Surrectum all the way. :p
