I love CC ... she and Ace are pretty much the only people with the balls to stick up for me in public so she can say what she wants WMN ... she's the queen bee of this forum and she rules in my world!

See ... I can disagree with you too!

I just can't resist a snappy comeback.

it took me taking elin to task to show up on your radar? and only for that? You don't know me from Adam CC, so whatever you say about me really doesn't count for jack schitt as far as I'm concerned.

I'm LIVID! - I was threatened with banning again and didn't know it? Somehow the point of me not registering SuperJude as a username escapes ccertain people? If I really wanted to troll I'd have text flooded the fuck out of this place long ago, spoofed IP's and forced you to make this a closed board with admin approval for every new member. Yet all I've done is make some half assed flames, nowhere near my best work, because I got sick of people thinking it was cool to trash me for no other reason than I've had success in these games. Oh, and I didn't back down from the very people now revealed to be the shitbirds I said they were a year and a half ago.

I'm REALLY LIVID! - That people's games are being shitted on because people are pussies and use "That player is SUPERJUDE ZOMFG ~`!!!!1" as a justification to boot somebody. How many people have been "me" in the last month anyway? 3? 4? I know ts2 was me, Josh was me, chaperarocks was me. WTF people, just vote somebody out because you want to, stop making me the scary boogeyman you have gaming nightmares about.

I'M SO FUCKING LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!! - It isn't as if some of the very hosts who've had these issues weren't warned by yours truly. I said people were crazy, I said they compulsively created drama while they themselves were the dirtiest of the bunch, I said certain people would fuck your games by quitting. Other than calling me "jude" when she got booted out of Islands of Mystery and sending Howie a detailed PM in BBD detailing how I had screwed her in IofM (so much for anon game and so much for her rampant accusations that I cheated because I knew who people were...kthnxhypocrite) CC has always been a clean player and a hard player. This is why I've stopped dissing your gaming skills, all things considered I'd cast you in a game in a hearbeat.

That should be the crux of this place and this community, what makes for the best games not the easiest casting. I swear to fucking god, the casting here reminds me wayyyyy too much of how they choose coaches in the NBA.

It's pretty easy for me to defend although not condone those actions. Mainly in the fact that when I did them, the game was unofficially not tainted because everyone knew who you were anyway at that point, and you hadn't been trying to hide it.

Easy for you to come in here bragging yet again about how great you are when there are people who have real important situations in their lives that you either know about or know nothing about.

Stop and think for a minute about people other than yourself Jude. It just might make you a better person.

As for the unmentioned trashing of me in your post, go ahead, say what you want, flame away, call me crazy, tell me I ruin games, at this point in my life, when I'm dealing with a real life tragic situation, your meaningless bullshit among others isn't important in the least.

how do they pick coaches in the NBA?

sorry elin - you guys admitted you voted out CR because you thought he was Jude, so that sail has some wind, which is the point - not whether someone had some real life thing going on (what does that have to do with voting out CR because you thought he was Jude and then claiming pwned in your confessional? Not you perhaps, but I know someone said that. Maybe it was Candice).

They recycle them from a very small, incestuous pool of candidates. They call it the "coaching carrousel" and here it would be the "casting carrousel". Just like Flip Saunders getting job after job, or Isaiah Thomas for that matter, it's like "hey I know Ace and Elin cheat, I know they shit on everybody from fellow gamers to hosts and create some really stupid, petty, pathetic drama but...I'm 2 spots short and they'll make for an interesting game!"

CC - in honesty, BBD was my 4th game and I'd seen no reason to change my style for anybody. Wasn't till I retired and came back that I noticed how poisoned the atmosphere had become. It's worse now, with people worrying more about ME being in a game than just playing the damn games the way they SHOULD be. Sure, I'm a purist, but yes I think the focus should be the games and not the the personality quirks that seem to mean more to a lot of people.

Of course, it's a small minority who's vocal when fact is, 90% of us are just folks who love gaming for whatever reason and could care less who is who.

Says the man who tried to figure out IDs in his very first game.

Says the man who made an alliance with me and Remote who were concidentally his alliance in his first game in IoM.

Says the man who tried to recruit me among other people as alliance mates for BBAS while he was an admin in BBUK, so much so that his PM capabilities were cut off and who went so far trying to make outside BBAS alliances and setting up a pecking order that several people, myself included, declined BBAS a month before the game so Remote canceled it.

Says the man who talked outside the game in Solo to Grows and God knows who else while I can honestly say I was the only person in that game NOT to speak to anyone outside the game until the F3 when I asked Ace for help in a challenge that I had absolutely NO chance at.

Hypocritical much Jude? You cheat as much as anyone else because you talk outside the game too. I don't consider what I did in Vertigo cheating. The player I talked to was gone, had no access to jury lodge and it had no effect on the game whatsoever.

As for me targetting Yul? Purely strategy. It just would have been a double coup for me had I gotten rid of someone who was a huge threat AND had him be played by someone I find insufferable at the same time. Even if Yul had ended up being Remote or CC or Brightside or anyone else I like (I <3 CR, everyone knows that), I'd have made the same move.

As for cheating in Solo? My ONE little conversation after I had made it to the F3 without talking to a soul and without a single person having any clue I was in that game is a non-issue compared to the bullshit that went on in that game prior.

Don't try and trash other players unless your basement is spotless which it isn't. The only reason you target me and Ace (and formerly CC) is because we won't drink your Kool-Aid and don't think your shit smells like roses.

I see right through you ... ergo I'm a "tret_*". :jerkit

I guess this is your new material for being a complete idiot, but you don't even know any of the facts. Elin and I don't cheat, so it's hysterical that you are using that as a point to hate on us. Yep, we definitely make for an interesting game though - thanks for the kudos. :lbf

I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but I get the jist of it.. and let me throw my two worthless cents into this ever growing piggy bank of love...

I think the players on this board are stale.. you all know each other, you all can see through your role-playing, etc. It makes the games a lot less fun for YOU. I played in JH5 and 6 and Vertigo after a FML's Pearl Islands game.. before that I hadn't played in a game from one of the hosts on this board for a while. (might of been the Coalition game) But I took a break away.. when I came back there were some new blood in here and that made playing those games a lot more fun. I got a chance to meet Martrae, ts2, Gnarls, reaquaint with UD, hook up with Alffy and many others.. the point being, there were NEW people and players to match up against, not the same peeps over and over again, which seems to be the biggest problem.. familiarity.

I have been out to many other sites and games and have encountered the same thing. At first it is frustrating, but now I have just taken it as a bigger challenge to crack and force my way into already established "partnerships". It makes it a lot more interesting though, since I always feel like my ass is on the line.

My suggestion to a lot of you is to go out and find some other games.. play in other games without knowing anyone or having any guesses at all. I believe all the hosts here truly come up with the best Survivor/BB games on the net... but those games will be wasted on stale casts if the same old people keep getting invited to games.

Two cents deposited.

Well said Manzana. I took the FML's S&S game mainly because I thought I would NOT know who was playing and no one would know I was playing.

Made it much more challenging and much more fun.

I had found I wasn't having the fun I hoped for. It was a ME problem as much as anything else. Looking at different options or options that I hadn't participated in for over a year or more brought back really good times.

You admitted you cheat, WT FLYING F?!?!?!

:ph43r: :ph43r: :ph43r:

Over a year ago and in one challenge. That sounds bad and all, but looking around, which vets haven't done it one time or another? One time was it for me.

Manzana, the sad thing for me is that I've played against new people every game I've been in:

Oceania: I don't think anyone in that game played in my previous Poody games except CG.
All-Stars: New opponents: all but Oceania
Pentagon: New opponents: Ralphie, elin, spunkee, etc.
Colo 4: New opponents: SFGP, FML, etc.
Mole 3: Ok, I'd almost played with all of these people before, but that doesn't really affect a Mole game
JH3: New opponents: Martrae, ts2 (Mole doesn't count because she was out so early), ILT, etc.
BBC: New opponents: Alffmix, Quiddity, Zesty, Gnarls, etc.
Vertigo 2: New opponents: spnintendo, samsgap, UD, etc.

However, there's a stigma that follows me around, and people know it's me, and it affects every game now: outside identities.

I also think it's unfair that hosts LET people basically tell people their IDs outside. Case in point: Alffmix told everyone his ID in BBC not once, but three times. I cried foul, but Remote understandably wouldn't change anything up, being how late-game it was, and Alffmix knew this too. It's just not fair because obviously he is liked by his fellow CTS clique by just looking at Gene's little tournament bracket game.

I like Gnarls and all, but it's complete BS that he is allowed to post the "4 horsemen/Robert the General" comments in every game, and he gets away with it. I never would have known his IDs in BBC or Vertigo 2 had he not done this, but I instantly knew it was him after he made those comments. The sad part about that is that I'd never played a game with him before.

I realize that I have to go ridiculously undercover in every game I'm in now because I have to not only work to stay in the game the fair way, but I also have to work to stay in the game against cheaters who have nonsensical hatred to the Cuauhtemocs. This hiding my ID goes all the way back to Oceania:
Oceania: lower-case typing
All-Stars: Open ID
BBP: nobody thought I played games anyway
Colo4: religious rants
Mole 3: italic posting
JH3: southern drawl
BBC: frantic, paranoid Luce
Vertigo 2: take-control, no nonsense.

I've switched it up every time, and it's worked most cases. However, sometimes, like in Vertigo 2, people assume I'm someone else (in this case, I was elin), and I get voted out for that. Unfair.

I'm not posting as Cuauhtemoc Ace anymore because I've officially quit gaming. Ask any host: I haven't applied for their games, and I'm not going to. I was actually going to play Matt's S&S game awhile back for the same reasons as you, ts2, but when Remote announced his new BB game, I had to play it because I respect Remote as a better host than Matt, and I also enjoy Big Brother over Survivor. Survivor is like the ORG n00b game, while you actually need more skill to win games like Big Brother and Cake's Colosseum.

Before I played Poody's games, I'd actually already played about 5 games on different sites as well. It was interesting coming into the Poody games having never played with any of the people: same with Matt's Oceania. It's too bad I've basically hit a wall for new players/hosts because it would be interesting if there were other capable hosts out there somewhere that didn't run AIM games. :alien

Oh well, that was random and stupid. I'll probably end up edit-deleting that post later. I may eventually come back to games in a good year or two when there's actually new non-CTS/Clinic clique blood. But until then, I'll just lurk here; I've quit Sucks anyway, so that's a big burden off my back! :)
