This, coming from the person who played Jake is laughable. That might have been the most obvious ID in my ORG history.
Oh, yeah, just how I was obviously Crow, too? You've got to be kidding me. You were the only one who IDed me besides Rudy (who only did after we were both voted out). I'm talking about people who repeatedly do the same actions and talk the same way/about the same things when they know people pick up on it. You think I changed the entire way I spoke because I expected everyone to realize it was me? Come on.
Any time someone plays an 'annoying' heavy schtick in a game with you, you'll think it's me. Maybe you'll get lucky one time in the future, but I do my best to make sure as few people as possible know who I am because I don't want an unfair advantage/disadvantage.

I think one also needs to take into consideration the caliber of the games in which players compete.
The cast can make a huge difference. And I don't mean to discredit games or hosts, but I think say a win in one of JeffP3's Survivor games is a much bigger accomplishment than winning a game run by a new host with a inactive/inexperienced cast.
Superjude for example won in FML's China. From what I've read, that game was both extremely competitive and had a fantastic cast.
I think Taylorstreet's most "competitive" game could be classified as Brawl...where I think quite a bit of the "veteran players" were wiped out in twists. I mean I got third there, and will be the first to admit that luck played a huge role in getting to the merge. Yes, you had to utilize your secret group etc, but if it had been straight up Survivor, for example, I'd say about half of the merge players would not have made it there.
I think we all know in general that the FML/JeffP3/etc games are a lot better, difficult and complex than say EDP But I disagree with what you're saying. A lot of people want to up their ranking (Personally, I think we should just do away with the entire rankings list and let people have fun ), but by crediting certain games as 'better' or 'worthy of a higher percentage' than others, you're pretty much saying to all the nerds here "Hey, don't play in these games. Just play in these games." You're also leaving part of the rankings up to an opinion, and opinions have no room in statistics. Besides, every cast nowadays, even in legit games like FML, Redux, and Stranded are all made up of IYBIL, VMK, Blueberry, Crazyalexi just total noobs who suck and are inactive but think they're good players because that entire 'clique' invades the game so that's how it is. Every game is turning into EDP. So essentially, game value is worthless. A lot of different things can factor into a game. So there's no need to go behind the veil. What I think should be done is for those who win to receive bonus points in the rankings on their victory. That should even everything out.
First of all, I have played two games and like never take on more then one game at a time.
Second we have only played Blondie's game together which wasn't serious at all. Cliques invading the game? Do you have any idea what you're talking about

CLD's Lackadaisy Survivor had nearly half of the cast being newbs and it was a GREAT, really strategic game. Having a ton of vets isn't really necessary to have a game be competitive. If anyone at least tries and puts some effort in, any game could be good regardless of the cast.
Like a few others have said already, everyone's definition of what makes a good player is different but I don't think that means we should do away with this thread, since Quid has already put a lot of time into it. Ultimately its just for fun.
When I was relatively new to ORGs I was in two ORGs at the same time, and would try and juggle doing two challenges at once  one time I think even three ORGs at once? Yeah, never again.

I think 2 games at once should be the maximum to try, honestly. I actually do pretty dang well in two games at once... somehow?
Also re: the rankings, I don't think I'm actually the 100thish worst ORGer here.

1. You played in Surfuckingvivor. That says enough.
2. You're part of Poody's "later" Stranded cast which from Season 10 onward has been notoriously nubile and in not in a good way.
3. You couldn't spell third right. You turd.

Not to mention getting voted out on back to back days was pretty awful, too
That would suck, but I don't think anyone can top emcee getting voted out of three games in one night
You beat me to it.

Not that I recommend ever playing in more than one game at a time because it really could be more than you bargained for... ...but two games at once can be easily managed if the challenges weren't at the exact same time. Then its just a matter of finding time to concentrate on PMing in each game so you don't appear mute or inactive. It's like playing the piano with both of your two hands. (Before I took lessons I found the concept of playing with both hands simultaneously incredibly difficult. ^_^) Once you've mastered the technique it just flows naturally. I miss my piano lessons. Playing in 3 or more games however... It's like juggling eggs. Unless you've got mad skillz you're gonna struggle to keep all the eggs in the air. And you'll lose your rhythm and have a huge mess to clean up afterwards.
Thats what happened with my 9th place. I was in Omni while in another game, and I focused all my attention on Omni. Im surprised I even made it to 9th in that one game. I was pretty much inactive

Maybe you should since EDPUK was totally inactive and shitty. I am just going based off what I've heard from your cast. Don't shoot the messenger.
