Leo and Kate are excellent and the sets and the photography of the film are stunning. The only downside is all the other charecters are mostly poorly written and acted. And Granny Rose is a selfish old cunt and her subplot is very tv movieish.

Oh wow, Thanks! <3

Fun fact, I don't watch mainstream movies, not the big ones anyway. I have never seen Wall-E, but the kids have or Requiem for a Dream.  And I have never seen Titanic. Or Jurrasic Park or any of those types of movies.  -_-

You've never seen Titanic?!? I DEMAND that you see that work of art nao <333

I always cry at the end. When Rose is having her little flashback. Not when Jack sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Mehers to that. Oops spoiler alert. :P

Titanic is one of my all time fave movies. SPOILERS BELOW.

BUT the part where I cry is at the end where Rose dies and then she's back on the ship and Jack was waiting for her the WHOLE time and then everyone claps.

Must re-watch that movie. I was 9? when it came out and it was mad awkward going to the theater with my dad and seeing boobs lol.

YES we cry at the same part? Awesome. Yeah I don't get crying when Jack dies. Basically I was just pissed because I feel like they both could've gotten on the door had they tried harder.

Yeah Jack waiting for her and then them kissing to applause was so romantic as I rewatched the movie as an adolescent gay kid patiently waiting for love.

Titanic

ETA: I have the soundtrack which I totally forgot about until now. Thanks to this thread it's going back in my car tomorrow. And sorry for being responsible for getting this thread off topic TWICE now.

My favorite part is when Jack says to Rose that she's going to die an old lady and have a happy life. I am also a total sucker for that movie.
Why aren't you pointing your finger at grows, who I have provided sufficient evidence against? She is the starter of all things evil in games.

There are lots of iconic scenes in that film.

Like the hands in the window of a steaming car.

*facepalm* Oh Plummy. :lbf

Way back in grade school we'd play "Titanic" at recess. Along with "Land Before Time" and "The Prince of Egypt" (those two  )

we played kickball like normal kids. lol jk... I used to do stupid stuff too. like when it was raining and you had indoor recess, and everyone took out their pokemon game. and then you'd get stuck in a battle and the teacher was like, "alright gameboys off" and you were like, "WAIT I CAN'T SAVE RIGHT NOW!!!!"

actually funny story about price of egypt... when I was in like 5th grade I was at my egyptian friend's house and his dad was like, "This isn't true, the jews WANTED to build the pyramids!" :lbf :lbf :lbf :lbf :lbf

Speakin' of Pokemon games...we'd actually role-play Pokemon and we'd just be in the middle of the soccer field yelling 'VEEENNNUUUSAAAUR!" "BBLAASASTOOISEE" at each other! :lbf

LOL same here! :lbf That happened at home a lot for me!

*in the middle of a battle or fighting a boss in Final Fantasy* Mom: time to go!

NUUUU I DIDN'T SAVE YET! 5 MORE MINS! :(

If anyone brought a Gameboy with them when I went to elementary school if a Bully didn't steal it a teacher would have confiscated it.

Yeah I eschewed the Pokemon ban at my elementary school by one year.

And plus it was a generally well-off suburban town. I recall in 4th grade I found out my friend had cleaning ladies. I was like, "wow cleaning ladies? that's crazy" and he was like "oh you have them too, everyone has them, you just don't know." Yah we didn't have them. Made me the classist populist I am today though <_<

X. Her favorite thing to say was, "Thank God we have a maid."

Speaking of Rose, she was NOT selected. This cast is now full!

See everyone who is playing on the 10th!

Remember, if you are playing, to keep this thread clear of any comments which could give away your ID.

I will NOT be updating this thread with each night's boot, BTW.
