CONVINCE ME TO NOT GIVE UP ON LIFE (PART 2!!)

so misguided and so rude Posts: 6,201 Group: ORG Gamerr Member #190 Joined: February 4, 2009	Okay so I found out today that I missed the first part of my English final. Basically I have two days (100 minutes) to write an essay for my final and I missed the first day. I think that I can write the essay in one class if my teacher actually allows me to do it but I don't even know if she'll let me take it since I missed the first day. Anyway, I'm taking 6 classes and I am potentially failing 3 of them. Also the reasons I am failing is not ORG-related. This was my first semester at college so I think I had issues with adjusting and applying myself the right way. SO ANYWAY, if I fail my classes I'm considering dropping out of college and just living in my car or finding some sugar daddy or something who can support me until he dies AND THEN living in my car. So, anyway, here is your task: a - Convince me that failing a few classes in my first semester is not a huge deal and doesn't mean I have to drop out. or b - actually just do a. k, go!

What if I can't do it? What if I fail that class and then I fail my other three classes (I actually have no idea if I am or not. I feel like I'm leaning on a C+ average in all three of them). It's a change and you need to acclimate yourself to the life. Don't give up on it. This might be shitty advice but you can always retake a class. Now if you were the only college freshman that was doing poorly gradewise, then there's cause for concern but I assure you, many others out there (like you said) are doing worse.

Well, about the parents thingy, I think it is their responsibility to pay for your tuition fees and after you graduate, you still need them. I'm sorry but that's just the fact. It's up to you though if you want to live from your own labor. By the way, it doesn't mean that if you fail at school, you fail at life too.

Seriously college is like CPN5 I can't beat it And no I have not tried sex with the male professors but coincidentally the three classes I am failing are female professors. I only have one male professor and I'm doing fine in that class. sigh

Thank you, that does make me feel a lot better. But if you fail, that is always on your records right? I'm just concerned that even if I do well in the next few semesters the failing grades will be on my records forever and ever and then I'll never get into another college and then I'll never get a good job and be rich like I was supposed to be.
