Tomorrow I have Part 2 of History, Sociology, Part 2 of Algebra, and Psychology. And then I'm done

I think I'm down to only thinking I'm going to fail 2 of my 6 classes, at least ^_^

I wish 0 out of 6 classes but I think I'm going to totally bomb my Algebra final (Part 2 *might* be easier than Part 1, tho) and I think I only have like a C in the class anyway.

And no idea about Psychology. If I do really well on the final I can pass, hopefully -_-

~BUMPED~

So I passed all of those classes (lol) but now I have a new problem:

ALGEBRA/TRIG FOR PRECALC

GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm bombing this class. I think I have like a 65 right now and the material is only getting harder. ;_; ;_;

If I fail this class do I have to just drop out of college all-together????

Someone else plz share your failures with me so that I can feel better about myself.

Hardly anything you learn in college will actually be relevant once you get into the real world unless you're learning some sort of trade (engineering, pre-law, pre-med, etc.). You need basic math and grammar skills and your diploma - the rest will be taught to you by your future employer. So...don't sweat the small stuff.

Mikester don't drop out D: I understand your situation as I've considered dropping out over 100 times & I am close to being kicked out because of my GPA. But I know how Pre-Calc. is. I took Calculus and dropped out. In fact it made me change my major from Chemistry to Foreign Languages. :lbf But you can do it! Believe in yourself.

Mikester...

You think that's crazy? Listen to this: I work about 28 hours a week on my regular job, I am an intern at a consulting firm and do about 10 hours a week for that (I am preparing for a 3 hour seminar I will be doing for a company next week), I am a full time university student, I am studying for my last LSAT in December, while taking a 3-time a week, 6 hour prep course AND I am preparing my Law school applications for this month.

I get roughly 4 hours of sleep a night.

I am drowning in the lack of a social life and alone time. This doesn't even include the fact that my family is a mess and I am constantly needing to drop everything and run to my sister's rescue. My friends are bitter that I am choosing my career over them and the girl of my dreams is slipping through my fingers.

You can do this man. You are incredibly intelligent for a person your age and you are capable of doing this. Just get motivated. Stop thinking about everything and take it one day at a time because if you don't, you will crash and burn. Failure is part of being human and it helps you learn from your mistakes. Get help for the courses you are doing poorly in (talk to your profs and work it brother. They'll understand. Get a tutor if needed)

OMG CALC :<3 I needed like one more class to minor in math and then I just minored in econ instead. Idk I felt like it would be more useful since I was a science major and by junior year, I didn't want to do anything science-related or go to graduate school. It was too expensive to stay for longer than 4 years so I made the best of it.

Back to the point, no job has asked for my transcript and most didn't even ask for my GPA. Just try to make everything else on your resume as good as possible. My best friend had a sub-3.0 GPA (and we failed Orgo together) and he's now at Columbia going to grad school for science so...... yeah.

ETA: Omg Orsnaz, so motivated. I honestly wish I had half the drive you do.

Probably, just because...who fails pre-calc?

But yeah, you'll be fine, you've got one month left to fix your grade and a final to cram for so that it can bring you to a B- or something. Worst case scenario, you have to drop the class. Welcome to college, dude.

Also, what OrsNaz posted will be my life in exactly one year. I took off from working this semester which has given me back some free time, but it's made paying the bills pretty damn tricky. :lbf

Omg y'all are such inspirations  Ok, I'll stick with it but if I fail YOU WILL BE HEARING ABOUT IT.

I am currently registering for next semester. I don't know what to take, what I need to take, what I want to take =( I don't think I'm going to be graduating with an associates, I think I'll just transfer next fall. I'm not even positive what I'm majoring in (I guess LAX to go on to pre-physical therapy?) eek this college thing is so confusing.

You can easily make a pretty good living without a real job, and live more comfortably than people like Orsnaz.
