Until you decide what you want to do, you're going to continue to have these frustrations, dude. If you don't know what you want from your degree or what career you want to pursue, then you also won't know what classes to take. Your adviser is just going to point you toward the general education classes and tell you to take those since you'll need that credit anyway no matter what. Maybe he'll try to help you figure out what you want to do with your life, but really, the only person who can do that is you.

I don't know much about transferring and whatnot, but if your plan is to finish two years at your current school and then transfer to a better one to finish your bachelor's, then I think it's generally advised that you find a specific path and show impressive progress in that direction? At least, that seems to make sense, since I'm not sure why a university would accept a transfer student who's undeclared.

If there are any career paths you're even remotely considering, I'd suggest trying out a class that fits that path to see how you like it. Although if you're always going to get super stressed at the end of the semester, maybe cramming too many credits in is a bad thing.

Liberal Arts is the equivalent of "undecided" because you take your core classes and then transfer. The point of "Liberal Arts" is to transfer and from Liberal Arts, you can transfer into anything.

Well the point of the Liberal Arts major is that you take the classes to get you that specific degree (an Associates in Liberal Arts) which is supposed to make it easier to transfer, because you then don't have to worry about credits.

Journalism is a useless major!? That's what I wanted to go into

And as far as I know, it doesn't require much to be a teacher - if you want to be a high school chemistry teacher, quite a few schools are in such desperate need of educators that they'll take you without a liscense.
