I still think post-150 the series is lame and doesn't count. I'm not elitist in any sense of the word but I bought Gold and the Pokemon were sooo unoriginal. |

errr Gold/Silver is by far the best game in the Pokemon series followed closely by Red/Blue (puke at yellow). 1-150 are the best pokemon and also the first season is the best, but come on...pokemon having babies, night/day, etc. Nothing beats it. |

Say wut? Yellow is  They're all virtually the same (RBY), except Yellow actually uses Team Rocket and Meowth (not the grunts or whatever  ), being able to get the three starters, etc. it's the closest to the actual show. Red/Blue has MissingNo...and...um...?  |

Because of an abundance of great material from the contestant (and the fact that I'm saving some space from two people who told me they'd help out but haven't sent their answers yet--including Jeff Probst, holy schnikes!), only one person from here is going to be quoted in the article. The lucky winner has been informed and if you want to reveal yourself, go for it. Everybody's answers were very much appreciated; the selection wasn't anything personal of course, just what worked best within the context of the article. Big thanks to everybody who helped out.  I'll post the final version of the article after all the revisions are said and done...and if you're wondering who my contestant is, check my subnic

Agreed. The best summer of my life was the 3 weeks my cousin and I spent in Sicily collaborating on red/blue and getting to 147. We had no phone/tv/internet and could not for the life of us figure out which three we didn't have (turned out to be Jynx/Omnastar/Kabutops) |

Getting Kelly G is more of an accomplishment than Probst. After not getting invited to All Stars, I assumed she wanted nothing to do with fans. ETA- Sorry for not having time to send you something, but it sounds like you have more than enough people helping. |

It's not like it was that fans' fault that Kelly G. didn't make it onto All-Stars. If I were in her shoes, I would actually be happy to know that someone cared enough about me to contact me about such a thing.
