Ugh, I especially hate the people on Facebook who flaunt it, like the 1k days to Obama is out of office shit, and stuff like that. Bitch PUH-LEASE. There were tons of people wishing the death of Bush like all over the world. Granted, secret service has had to amp up security because Obama is black, but still, Bush was treated much worse by the public than Obama will ever be treated. Honestly, I can't wait until he's out of office. All I can hope for is that republicans aren't as retarded as they've been the past 8 years and put someone up there who is a true conservative, because when conservatives run, they WIN. end of story. See Reagan, Eisenhower, and Baby Bush (before he turned into a liberal). This is the problem though IMO. Where was this Tea Party outcry when Bush was running up the deficit? I know Obama is spending like crazy but he wouldn't even have to be if Bush hadn't slaughtered the surplus. We would have had surpluses that we could now be using as a rainy day fund. The Republicans got us in to this mess and now they're all pissed at Obama for increasing spending to get us out of it. Which makes me think that at the end of the day, the reason we're having all these Tea Parties is that a black guy won and people can't deal with that.

Both parties and a lot of organizations (Tea Party) are hypocritical. I would have loved to see them trashing Bush like he deserved. Makes them seem not so genuine. However, Glenn Beck has ALWAYS trashed Bush since the beginning. That's why I was a fan of his. Bush deserves to be gang raped for what he's done to the country. Actually, I wouldn't go that far, but you get what I mean. <_<

People are poor because the rich that Bush and Reagan urged we needed to stop regulating screwed up our economy, and it's the lowest level worker that ends up getting laid off. This is why we need more government, not less. Every time we've had less government you end up with corporate fat cats lining their own pockets and then ruining our economy and getting off scott free.

You don't take a vacation to Florida when you're $300 behind on your electric bill. Sure, there are some people who are legitimately helpless. They need to grin and bare it and just push through poverty. Don't expect the world to fall into your hands. It's a dog-eat-dog world, and those who prosper move ahead in that. Not everyone can be a winner.

Not everyone can be a winner. I don't think anyone expects the world to fall into their hands. Nobody ever says, "I wanna be a welfare mom." Basically, abortion is expensive and you risk losing welfare money if you find employment. But what you can expect with a laissez-faire economic system is that this same thing will happen over and over. People will find ways to get richer and richer, and they don't really give a shit if it causes our economy to collapse because they make out like bandits in the end. This time it was because Wall St. sold incredibly high risk bonds that were essentially worthless at high prices. When the market realized they were indeed worthless it caused mass chaos that would've been even worse without Obama's bailouts and Stimulus bill. Basically, the problem with leaving rich people alone because wealth trickles down is that economic collapse also trickles down.
