bump, per Mikester's request. Also, I thought I'd share one of my favorite sites with articles pertaining to recent fashion trends and everything.

http://www.fashionbeans.com/

Especially read their article on Chinos. I picked up quite a few from Banana Republic recently. ^_^ http://www.fashionbeans.com/mens-look-book...hino-look-book/

First Row 2nd look is my favorite. Special mentions to third row 3rd look and fourth row last look.

And I hate pink, but that looks good on him. OH and something else of an update. I'm sure everyone has already hear this, but Huggies have introduced JEAN Pampers. HILARIOUS commercial below! lol

I was watching BET the other night, and there was an advertisement for flannel-pajama pants that looked like "European designer jeans"

Well actually, all those looks come from various magazines. I'm pretty sure though that a lot of them came from H&M, Banana Republic, and Zara. Zara is actually a clothing store based in Spain. I've been there 3 times where they have Zara EVERYWHERE, and after the last time returning back to the US, I finally realized that we have them here in the US. They're only in big cities like NY, SanFran, Miami, etc. :( Oh how I wish Toledo, Ohio didn't SUCK!

And yes, the one of the guy in the dessert is a fave.

lol @ flannel pjs looking like designer jeans!

OK so as some of you know and some don't. I think Shalomo has heard enough of this, but I tan a lot and I'm looking for some swimming trunks that AREN'T board shorts. Like, legit swimming trunks that cut off above the knee. Like, sometimes I don't get into the pool, I just lay out and sunbathe, so I need appropriate attire.

There's no way in hell to copy the image on their site, so you just have to trust that you don't get a virus and click this link here: http://www.undergear.com/Product/Swimwear+...D/navtheme/dept

However, that's only if I buy my trunks online. What stores would be nice to go looking for swim wear? Oh and if you read this Shalomo, I'm coming BACK to Kentwood this Saturday or Sunday with friends. We're going to ambush you. lol

So ok that was basically all about me, because of course the universe revolves around me, but if you know anything about fashion shows and collections, 2011 has already hit and there have been a lot of shows in Milan recently over the last few months. This thread deserves a "real" update, so here's a collection that I just recently viewed for summer/spring 2011.

HOT HOT HOT picnic themed collection from D&G. I'm afraid of checkers/stripes, but I think most pieces looked classy with a tinge of fashion forwardness. But only a tinge. Still, thumbs up imho. The show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JnQOeNJIK4

Their official site where it's really easy to view pictures. It was a pretty big collection so I suggest you click! http://www.dolcegabbana.com/deg/fashion-show/

I sense another update coming up soon!! Maybe since it's summer, I'll look up some swim wear collections? I'm sure some of y'all would like that! :drop Anyway, be back later!!! ^_^

I know you'll yell at me for going so mainstream-trash, but I actually got a really nice pair of mid-length swim trunks at Hollister. They come like, an inch or two above the knee, I guess? And they were like, 20 dollars. But they aren't as short as the ones in your link.

I have the ones in the color that shows up when you copy and paste the link.

OK, please excuse my ignorance here but... you're black

:rofl

It's ok. I get that ignorance a lot. I'm very light-skinned. When I was younger I was made fun of for looking "asian" and was called "high-yellow". lol I think now, I tan so much just because I'm still subconsciously affected by those awful names I was called.

Anyway, if I had a camera, I would update facebook with pictures of my more nether regions to show how big of a contrast there is between my skin tones. Only special people can see those nether regions right now I guess. :drop

@Jensa: Yes, the one on the bottom left is hot. The whole "roll up the bottom of your pants" has been in style for a while now. Looks really good.

@Nick: Oh I don't care whether it's mainstream or not. If it looks good and serves its purpose of self-expression, style, and function, then I'm totally down for it. That pair you showed actually looks really good and matches my beach towel that I have. 20 bucks is like the average price for a pair of trunks too, so when I go to the mall this weekend, I'll be sure to visit Hollister.

I usually hate hate hate Hollister which is why I never visit, but I should have known that the one great thing they'd have would be clothes suited for lots of body exposure. ^_^thanks!

Alright, another update after watching the 2011 summer/spring collection by Etro that took place in Milan this last month here. Youtube it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIzuAvzkLc8

Ok so I love love LOVED the prints on some of those dress shirts. It's flashy but not gaudy, which is often a very fine line that is often crossed with fashion-forward guys. There was an obvious earthy feel to it with the green grass and the forest backdrop and it's reflective in the pieces. There were a lot of flower prints scattered throughout the pieces, but they sort of blended in and weren't a distraction. This is good imho, since I think flowers are girly and too feminine. It was just the right touch though. ^_^

Oh and random comment after watching: Paisley <3

Since this show is really new on the scene, I can't get the pictures that I want/like the most, but here's what I can get:

This isn't the best representation of the entire show. I don't like intense sheer/flowers, thus I only like two of the pieces here. Please don't follow the trend. <_< Anyway if you don't mind doing a bit of work here's a link to all the pictures of the show. I'll tell you MY favorites.
