10 years ago on this day, Survivor: Borneo premiered on television. I'm honored to call myself a season one, episode one fan. :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  :dance  :dance  :dance

Yay I was ending my career as an elementary school student and loved this show immediately!

I was organizing blindsides before Survivor ever came on... Probably about the same time it was airing we had to vote different people in our class for what we thought they were going to be when they grow up.... This one evil bitch named Alaina who made everyone's life hell wanted to be the ballerina.... I got the whole class to vote for her as Plumber. Then a week later on the last day of school she was announced as the Future Plumber from our class.... She cried as she went up to accept her prize (a little toy tool set). My plan had worked... I was always destined to be a gamer

That's the best story I've ever heard

Sadly I wasn't a Season 1 Episode 1 fan, but happy birthday survivor

I watched the season 1 premiere when it aired and fell in love. It still hasn't gotten old after so many years.

For me, it was I watched the finale of season 1 with my grandparents and rooted for Rudy. Watched the first two episodes of Allstars for Rudy, then saw that Cooks was on Demand so I gave it a watch and have been hooked since.

Thing is, I was always wicked addicted to the concept. Before I even started watching I sketched out seasons of the show in class with video game characters of my friends. Hilarious really.

This doesn't really make sense. If you like the concept, why wouldn't you watch the show?

My first episode was Grindgate. It actually turned me off to the show. But then I caught a little of the Thailand finale, and got really into it as Amazon was starting. Which was probably a bad season to become obsessed with the show, since that was the first season where everything was totally spoiled.

I have been watching from the beginning and haven't missed an episode.

BB being annoying and bossy is what got me hooked.

Because I had no idea what time it was on. Also, I didn't watch anything regularly back in the day. I don't think I knew how TC schedules worked.
