It's not hard to say "us four. alliance." to four people standing in a room. And when one of them is HoH and it's the first week, it's not like anyone was going to disagree. I don't consider Enzo "the creator" of same grand alliance. They were all there, he was just the first to suggest it. Lane, however, is going to have all of his core alliances in the final four. The two other Brigaders, one of which wants to take him to the final 2 and the other who can't even win competitions, and Britney, who isn't going to turn on Lane any time soon. Maybe Lane hasn't "DONE" anything huge but notice everyone who really has done something huge is gone. I think Lane is playing an amazing game to get to the f2. Like Memphis, he might not have the votes once he gets there, but he's definitely playing the game and playing it well. |

It's hard to say which of the Brigade is playing the best game because all three of them are positioned, well Hayden and Lane at least, in the exact same place. If Enzo wins HoH, then Hayden can and will go if Britney wins PoV. Then did he really play the best game? If Brit wins HoH, then Lane probably goes if he doesn't win PoV UNLESS Hayden really wants Lane in the finals although I can't imagine Hayden being stupid enough to risk a Brit/Lane/him f3. None of them are playing a game leagues above the others imo |

I was actually just debating in my head what makes a better player: one who risks eviction but is almost guaranteed a win if made to the end, or one who is almost guaranteed to get to the end but who will very likely not win in the end. I say since the object of the game is to win, that would make Hayden a better player. But it's a tough call. Maybe I'm just biased, but I really don't want to credit Lane with anything.

Well it's not like Lane or Hayden are actually guaranteed anything to be honest. I think it's too soon to tell for me. Once the f4 round is over maybe, just because there are too many scenarios with how the f4 works as far as HoH/Veto go... eta - Also, as far as your scenario goes, it totally depends. If Hayden DOESN'T make the f2, the fact that he WOULD have had all of the votes doesn't mean much. Look at bb8, if Zach had made the f2 he would have won in a landslide. But he fucked up a few times along the way and went into the worst f3 possible for him. |

And that he had the ability to singlehandedly prevent that F3 from happening by using the veto at F5 shows that even though he would have won against Dick in the F2 in a blow out, he was a horrible, horrible player.
