I was JUST typing up an entry for Kou but never mind! <_< jk here it is if you have Kou's avatar plz post it so I can add it, 'cuz when I click on the BB Eurasia link it takes me to some google webpage about Honda. *is not kidding*![]() Honorable mention, Kou Shibasaki (BB Eurasia) 3rd place Played by: Kitty Pryde Mmkay so where to start with the amazing Kou. Kou game into BB: Eurasia late because she had the flu, thank goodness she got bettah when Kou showed up she immediately got into the tribe's majority alliance, even being a big part of forming it herself, showin how much Kou really pwned at the game. Kou was easily the HBIC of the Asia tribe 'cuz she was the only one without an annoyiing shtick or wasn't generally inactive. Kou had tight allies in Erik, Park (lawl <3), Vicki, and Leo. And maybe with Koda and Tang too.Kou single-handedly won many of the challenges for the Asia tribe, which was a successful Koror that won every challenge and only had to go to TC because the first round was a double TC. So basically Kou was Tom 'cept she was rawbed at the end. When the merge rolled around the Asia tribe was up 7-3 with Shirley, Cheryl and Magni on the Europe tribe. Park was removed from the game for inactivity, making it 6-3, and Magni was evicted, making it 6-2, and Kou was now doing a good job of beiing somewhat UTR I think if they had gotten HoH she would've been safe due to her excellente PMing skillz. Koda/Eric got evicted in a double boot round in a controversial vote, meaning Kou lost a tight ally in Eric but still had solid allies in Leo, Vicki, and..er, Cheryl, I think o_o alol. Cheryl and Kou apparently had a strong deal and would've gone to the finals together, and it's hard to say who would have won but it would have been close. Anywho that left a final 5 of Kou/Cheryl/Vicki/Shirley/Leo with Tang evicted at F6 and the three from the Asia tribe managed to win the challenges for those rounds meaning Shirley/Cheryl went out back to back, not before an apparent technicality in the F4 Veto that Cheryl should have won eep. The final 3 final HoH is kinda controversial because Leo quit in part 2, where he would have for sure beaten Vicki at round 1 because...well, he had like half of it done or somethin' and I had about 4 pieces together. So its possible in a Kou/Leo part 3 Kou wins and then wins the game, w00t but Vicki randomly beat Kou in part 3 and rawbed Kou in 3rd place. She was probably the only one that had any sort of game at all so it sucked that she didn't win, just another reason for me to Sugar it up in a future ORG Kou <3

One: I was late for BB:E because I was violently ill with the flu for the first two days of the game. Two: Park was eliminated at the merge for inactivity, so it was 6-2 after Magni was booted. Three: Leo is Russell and Shirley is Tyson for their moves at the F8/F6, respectively. Four: I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARED ABOUT THAT GAME GODDAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! |

~SURVIVOR: SAMOA~ Write up! In a land far, far away...there is a division in the world between Muggles and wizards, schools where wizards go for seven-something years, and where the every-flavor bean exists...even in fart form...THIS...IS... AMERICAN IDOL BA-DA-DEE-DA-DO-DAA-OOH-HOH-OHHWoops, wrong program! Let's get back to the show. In FML's Survivor: Samoa, 20 contestants embarked on month-long journey of a lifetime, a journey of hundreds of fluffy PMs... The two tribes approached the shore, and it was game on. Everyone was sizing up their competition, both along tribal lines and cross-tribal lines. Feelings were mixed. Marisa: I LOVE MY TRIBE THERE'S NO ~WAY~ I'M FLIPPING Yasmin: I'm going to be #1 on my tribe. I can feel it. I'll be such a puzzle queen As Foa Foa and Galu each approached their seperate locations, alliances already started to form. Galu, being one hunk of a tribe, based their majority alliance off of looks. Monica, Brett, Erik, John, and Kelly immediately got together. The plan would be for these 5 to go to the end....and why they excluded Yasmin from this alliance, I have no idea. YASMINOWNAGE On Foa Foa, things took a bit longer to fall into place. Ashley and Mike were clear outsiders. Liz and Betsy formed a bond and were reeled into the alliance of Jaison, Natalie, and Russell - which would later become the 'Foa 4' (sans Betsy once she flew off her rocker =O). There were obvious outsiders on both tribes, some got predictably voted off and some stayed around long enough to have a major impact on the game so anywho. The very first few rounds are hazy to me, so I'll be fast-forwarding a bit through these rounds. Foa Foa would become a very dominant tribe pre-merge, winning all but a couple of ICs (and still merging 6-4 ) with a seemingly clear advantage, but more on that later ![]() Galu predictably lost their outsiders in Shambo, Laura and Dave (but not before Dave had a meltdown after Galu lost an IC and tried to rally like his entire tribe to quit the game <_< ), while Foa Foa lost Mike, Ashley and Ben. In between all of this, we're going to focus a bit on Yasmin's (played by the ever epic CatLurvesDorothy) short but amazing storyline. Approaching the 2nd immunity challenge, Galu needed to pull out a win. You guessed it, t'was a puzzle challenge one that both tribes had serious trouble completing. However, Yasmin single-handedly won this challenge, making Foa Foa spin into a frenzy. Foa Foa thought Yasmin was easily the HBIC over there, and her ~amazin~ challenge skills were the talk of the town for a few days. Needless to say Foa Foa brough Yasmin over to their tribe in a future challenge they would win, where Yasmin spills the dynamics of Galu - that Russell S. was the leader and that Yasmin was slated next to go. However she would later change her story, saying that Russell S. and her were both on the outs. Much like the real Yasmin, she ruffled da feathuhz of Fooe Fooe. Yasmin went back to her tribe and got voted out in a twist: each tribe was going to tribal council, though individual immunity was up for grabs. Someone could take it, but then only their tribe would go to TC. Yasmin would have taken it but showed up late, lawl. Yassy <3 Back to much of the pre-merge dynamics. For Foa Foa, the core-five was set in stone, with the Foa4 contemplating taking Betsy out of the alliance in place of Marisa, though it never really happened. Betsy, who kept telling Liz they were 4th/5th in the alliance, would indirectly help Liz down the line, as when Betsy got swapped over to Galu (and later voted out), her telling Galu that they were on the bottom of the dominant alliance would allow Liz to be the last standing of the Foa4. Jaison grew very comfortable in the tribe, having one-on-one deals with practically everyone on Foa Foa. Natalie sat comfortably with one-on-one deals with Jaison and Russell and a final 3 of her/Russell/Liz. Marisa..erhm, had a deal with Russell, which she never really put much stock in, as we'd see when the final 10 comes around  Mick was slated as next to go and wasn't particularly close with anyone. Part of what alienated Betsy from Foa Foa is always wanting to target Mick, and instead FF voted out Ashley/Ben..as the Foa4 would find out, they probberz shoulda listened to Betsy. Let's go back to Galu with a more in-depth analysis, provided by no other than the uber-awesome TropicalRain "While on Galu, we speculated a lot about the tribal dynamics on Foa Foa. We thought that Natalie was the leader of Foa Foa hands down. Early on, we thought that Liz was their number two. We knew that Ashley and Mike were probably on the outside... and I personally thought that the main alliance was Natalie, Liz, Russell, Marisa, and Jaison. The main thing we knew is that you were kicking our butts, and that had to change lol. Brett's thoughts about Galu: The first vote came down between Shambo and Yasmin. They had been the least active -- Shambo signed on once and was completely annoying while Yasmin was simply late to sign in and slightly annoying. Since Shambo/Jeremy didn't even show up for the first challenge... we booted him first! We won the second challenge, yay. By that time, the "Sexy Beasts" had been formed. That right, we discriminated based on looks. This consisted of Brett, Erik, Monica, John, and Kelly. Several subsets of alliances were formed besides this (I can give you a link to my confessional of a list if you need it = http://www.survivor-games.com/samoa/viewto...t=128&start=10). Dave seemed kindof dense and he didn't get along with many people besides Russell S, so we booted him (Dave) after Foa Foa got rid of Mike. Plus Dave completely blew up in Freezilla's face after the immunity challenge because the digits were wrong or something, and tried to organize a mass quit LOL. Russell S and Yasmin had a disagreement in the challenge. GREAT! Two people on the outside of our alliance were gunning for each other, which made things much easier for the Sexy Beasts. However, Laura had been absent a lot and continually missed challenges (she calculated the start of the challenges for the wrong time zone... :/ ) so we managed to keep Russell S and Yasmin satisfied by booting Laura. At this point, myself, Erik, and Monica had REALLY been getting along. We had this epic PM thread -- A Guy, A Gay, and A Fucking Whore. Erik was "a guy"... because he is a guy. I was "a gay"... I'm still not sure why they thought I was gay except that John kept on talking about Brett and John in speedos. Typical UD. And Monica was whorish I guess. Anyways we ran the tribe. Tribal Rankings... 1. Brett (controlled everything) 2. Monica (multiple people's #1 ally) 3. Erik (combo of Brett and Monica) 4. John (I connected with him, so I kept him safe) 5. Kelly (She was so so sweet, but some found her annoying) 6. Russell S 7. Yasmin 8. Laura 9. Dave 10. Shambo The double boot... Ashley on your side and Yasmin on mine. We knew that Yasmin was good in challenges, but we didn't trust her at all. She thought she was in with myself and Erik... But Russell S was in with myself, Erik, and Monica (Russell S and Monica were tight), so we booted Yasmin. When we both had to go to tribal again, y'all lost Ben and we got rid of Russell S. We schemed ALL.DAY.LONG. Russell S almost convinced us to get rid of John OR Kelly. He hated Kelly. I saved John by him agreeing with me to get rid of Kelly if we had to lose again after we got rid of Russell S . Ultimately we didn't want to completely lose John's choice, so we got rid of Russell S for the tribal unity." Speaking of Brett, at the F12 instead of a predicted merge, there was a tribal swap. Brett/John got swapped to FF while Betsy/Marisa got swapped to Galu. Brett was clearly the leader of Galu the whole game (so OTTPP ) and when getting swapped to FF, the majority of the tribe wanted to throw the challenge, I believe, to vote out Brett - which they did. But not before Mick gave them a fake immunity idol, further alienating himself from many players. Brett tried very hard to keep himself around on FF, making very convincing arguments - but the tribe saw him as too much of a threat. Though I personally wanted to keep him around, I thought going too OTT about saving Brett would get myself voted out as a result. Brett geled with Jaison/Liz, didn't like Natalie, and...lurved Mick! FF did win the next challenge, but if they lost it, Mick would have been voted out and not John. It probably would've been an entirely different game if we had lost that IC.Over on Galu, a secret alliance formed that would end up as the game's final 3 - Marisa, Erik, and Monica. Marisa did a great job getting into the Galu dynamics, and this more or left Betsy on the outs as she was voted out at F11. I believe they were almost able to turn the tide against Kelly, noep >_< the Marisa/Erik/Monica alliance did a very good job of keeping their alliance on the down low, and I don't think anyone put two-and-two together post-merge until final 6/5. So there's some light on the pre-merge dynamics of FML's Survivor: Samoa this game relates very much to Marquesas, in more ways than one. The plot of this game is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. You have the Foa4, the uber-tight alliance that always had chat-PMs going on and compared notes on everything. Of course this alliance was pretty much obvious ('specially since Betsy told Galu ) and Mick/Marisa, aka Neleh/Paschal (...except not a pair) flipped to 'ol Galu to dethrone them. I think the Foa4 were overall MORP or somethiing though, compared to MORN Rotu4. Samoa goes past the obvious "overthrow Rotu 4" plot though, as the relationships were constantly shifting and the game was so fluid. Jaison/Liz/Nat went from a tight three to a sudden (faux) alliance of Jaison/Natalie/Kelly/Mick, Natalie/Liz went from trying to pull John back to their side to completely distrusting him and trying to get him voted off. Russell and Marisa went from..whatever they were to arch-nemisis' post-merge. John frequently waffled between siding with Foa Foa or Galu, Erik/Monica went from pro-Galu to "let's vote out John", it goes on. There were so many connections/relationships that didn't last long, the only connections being seen to the very end being Marisa, Monica, and Erik. I don't think anyone put two-and-two together because these three were arguably the most UTR of the players that merged, which coulda been a red flag right there. So once the merge rolls around it's clearly Monica/Kelly/Erik vs. Russell/Natalie/Liz/Jaison, with John/Marisa/Mick being somewhere in between. I think they were actually with Galu the whole time tbh, but both sides were PMing up the whazoo to make sure they would stick with one tribe over the other. Another example of how frequently the alliances shifted in Samoa, the Foa4 went from trying to sway Marisa to voting for her at that TC, thinking that voting for an FF would make John more likely to vote with them. Russell, the perceived leader of Foa Foa was voted out. So at this point it's game.awn. with NataJaiLiz (~INTERRACIAL LOVE~) trying to flip some combo of John or Kelly/Mick, with JaiJai TURNIN' IT AWN and workin' his strategic bootay to turn the game by offering alliances with Galu. ~*~Jaison~*~ but it more or less stayed the same with all of Galu voting him out.Honestly I'm not sure what Marisa/Monica/Erik were doing for pretty much the entire game, as I rarely talked with Marisa/Erik and when it came to Monica, she was often talking in some bohemian/zen way about changing up the game. Monica: KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED AND EARS OPEN, FOR WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT WE WILL ~ALIGN~ *never happens* Sidenote: Further emphasizing how quickly alliances changed in this game, Kelly had told me at the last minute about Jaison/Natalie making that deal (which they said was fake) and I was even considering voting for Jaison at that TC, but my lurve for Jaison pulled through and it was 6-3 instead of 7-2 YAY So when the final 8 roles around, it's clearly Natalie and Liz on the outskirts with the main alliance of Galu still intact. This round Natalie and Liz tried swinging Kelly/Mick over, and started to eventually piece together who was with who, with their distrust in Monica and John growing. However the duo of Kelly/Mick thought it was too early to flip, and in an ironic immunity challenge that came down to Liz and Natalie, Liz just barely won immunity, meaning Natalie was voted out. With the obvious power players being voted out one after the next starting from Brett's boot, this was a game for the underdogs and those at the bottom of the totem pole. How Gabon-esque. Kelly and Mick officially aligned with Liz, playing off to John that her time was up and that she was ok with being voted out - however during that round, Liz/Kelly/Mick were trying to turn the tide against John, and successfully did so when Liz won immunity. The game again shifted and it seemed once again that the new underdogs would flip the game on the most "pro-Galu" players in the game, Monica and Erik. And..I guess Marisa, since she didn't want to work with Liz and Mick, who were the two other remaining Foa Foa. By this point the counter alliance had half of the votes. What would prove to be a poor move was Mick, Kelly and Liz campaigning to Marisa to flip, not knowing that she was in a tight alliance with Monica and Erik - they made it clear Liz was next to go, but at the IC Liz won yet again, and in an epic power struggle, Erik and Marisa had played Liz and convinced her that Kelly wasn't with her and had wanted to vote her out. In the biggest blunder of the game, Liz voted out her closest ally, Kelly, having Erik and Monica promise that they wouldn't vote her out at the final 5. At this point Liz put all of her chips in Monica and Erik's corner to vote out Mick, banking on winning the rest of the immunities in the game, but for the first time since the final 9, lost immunity and was unanimously voted out, with the Foa4 now out of the game. With the final 4 now at the homestretch, Mick was clearly on the outs of a 3-person alliance, also being the biggest threat to win the game at that point if he made the finals. I'm not exactly sure how he campaigned in this round but he did try to swing Marisa? Or Monica/Erik to vote out Marisa? Mick lost immunity and was voted out, meaning the alliance formed pre-merge had successfully made the final 3. Monica would have won between these three if she made the final 2, but Marisa won the final challenge and voted out Monica, correctly perceiving her as a bigger threat than Erik. The final 2 were Marisa and Erik: Marisa, who started off at the bottom over at Foa Foa, swapped to Galu, and worked her way up. And Erik, who had stayed under the radar for most of the game in the majority alliance on Galu. The jury was going back and forth, acknowledging that Marisa played a better strategic game while Erik played a better social game. Both weren't really PMers (at least not with players outside of their alliance), and both had supporters - as for me I was leaning on voting for Erik if they both gave equal FTC performances, otherwise if Marisa gave the better FTC I was voting for her - I was kind of equally impressed by both, so in the end I voted for Erik - though in hindsight I would lean towards voting for Marisa. Erik won FML's Survivor: Samoa in a 4-3 vote! Sorry that I kind of rushed it towards the end, I know I said I'd have it up by the end of the weekend and put it off >_< I hope you guys enjoyed the read on this game, IMO FML's Samoa is underrated and was a very solid game. So there you have it, what I like about this game is it's very topsy-turvy powershifts. A dominant pre-merge alliance, the underdog tribe getting numbers post-merge, and the little engine that could (re: Monica/Erik/Marisa) making the final 3. It was like a mix of Marquesas, Samoa, Gabon, etc.

I loved reading that, SurvivorFanGP! Samoa was great for me on all levels. Galu was a great tribe, I was OTTPP throughout my game, and my best ally won! You and I clicked like within 10 minutes. It was awesome. Then... Brett: Liz, I love you, will you promise to keep me safe...? Liz: Of course! I really enjoy talking with you and I hope to keep you in this tribe as long as possible. Liz (confessional): Did I just say I'd keep Brett? And everyone wants to get rid of him? Crap. Then Russell/FallenTorch and I clicked like within 10 minutes of me leaving. It's all cool though. My downfall in that game must've been enjoyable to watch. The Foa Foa Four dominated the whole premerge, so much that we were throwing challenges. Then in my confessional I laughed at the idea of Marisa/Mick turning... And then I got voted out.
