What happened to the Fans in FML's FvF was far more ridiculous. I mean, once again, if they had performed better in challenges, they might have had a shot, but considering it was ten new players against ten veterans, the chances of them beating us in challenges was pretty slim from the get-go. And they were really never given a chance by anyone except Elle.

Oh yeah thats another one that sucked. Except it wasn't as bad for me because with my social game I still liked talking to everyone even if I was totally fucked from day 1.

Surfuckingvivor finale. Fuck you, survivorrulz, for your not-jury pity vote that cost me the game. And fuck you, Ninth Bill Sender, for not voting for me because I refused to write a paragraph about how awesome Hitler was. And fuck you, Josseppe95, for deciding that survivorrulz should get a jury vote even though they were the first person voted out. Also fuck you for bumping up the time of TC also so that the real juror forgot to show up and cast yet another vote for me. Worst. Ending. Ever. :ew :ew :ew :ew :ew :ew :ew :ew

I don't see how I can be blamed for this when yope couldn't show up at 9 so the time had to be changed and then edinboro didn't show up. I mean what did you expect me to do? Let the game end with a 3-3 tie for the FTC?

Dorothy was bad, but had no emotional connection, and I was just busy when I started that. Christy going out third in Greek Islands just killed me. I was so sad, and it all happened because I made new enemies out of people I had come into the game wanting to work with. Actually, Teighteen wanted me out despite me wanting to get over it. I blame him. My mishandling of the ThaiSu situation also makes me sad. But going out... blurgh. And with Brendan voting me out. I was so angry at him. I felt betrayed.

I know. I'm so sorry about that. That was fucked up of me, I agree. But like it was either Christy or Kenny and I didn't want either to go so I did what I do best and spazzed out.

It didn't have to be one of us. <_< All Christy had to do was stop targeting me.

Getting blindsided in Vertigo 7 when I wasn't there to compete is a close second though. I've never been so blindsided in a game in my life.

you're ~SO~ welcome.

It's not like we all ignored you and treated you like shit.

You absolutely did. You and Rowlf were the only two that even talked to me post-swap. All the others ignored me completely. And you weren't much better. You basically spat in my face and told me the Muppets were sticking together and I didn't have a chance.

And sorry, I just don't think losing 3 of the first four challenges should doom you to have no shot to even make the merge. It was beyond ridiculous.

I'm not about to look up the board but the Streeters lost the first 2 challenges, right? And then the 3rd challenge we won but there were all types of caveats that prevented our rebound? I know Notre didn't intend for it to go that way and I love Notre, but come on PT, it's a very steep price to pay when a tribe is handed F8 because the other tribe lost the first two challenges, especially when it's a game of 20.

I mean I would love to play a game and not have to do much to make f8. Not that I'm devaluing the game because I know I would've done exactly what the Muppets did, but you MUST understand our Streeter frustration.

And what still annoys me the most is that the Streeter tribe was so complex. Once it got down to Elmo/Oscar/Count/Cookie Monster/Snuffy/Prairie Dawn shit would've gotten real.

Other than Blondzilla's awful hosting in Siberia, my real low point would be from a couple off GTS games. Otherwise, The King's boot in Expedition: All Stars. At the time, I thought it was a legitimate personal attack.

Hey DGT. I'm not surprised you like it because we seem to have similar taste in TV shows. Anyway, I got it from this website: http://eyeonspringfield.tumblr.com/ . It's updated a couple times a week with GIFs from classic Simpsons eps.

You and Rowlf were the only two that even talked to me post-swap.

That's because Fozzie went inactive, Beaker was generally mute, and Sweetums was doing his Sweetums schtick. It wasn't because you were a minority.

T18

You basically spat in my face and told me the Muppets were sticking together and I didn't have a chance.

I think there's a big difference between spitting in your face and respectfully informing you that it didn't seem strategically beneficial to keep you around. :lbf

T18

And sorry, I just don't think losing 3 of the first four challenges should doom you to have no shot to even make the merge.

I think you only lost two, actually. But you guys made a huge mistake in not trying to throw that one IC, which actually gave the winners a numerical deficit.
But the point is, it wasn't just losing challenges that did you in. It put you at risk, as losing challenges is sure to do. But had your allies thrown challenges on the other tribe, the Streeters could have picked up a post-merge majority. Had you not been so obnoxious and intimidating, I wouldn't have chosen you for my tribe and you wouldn't have been the first target. Hell, Count was one challenge away from making the merge. In fact, if Ralph had had his way, Count would have made the merge anyway.

ncassaro

And then the 3rd challenge we won but there were all types of caveats that prevented our rebound?

Yeah, that was a really weird challenge. Although if you guys had recognized the benefits of throwing it, as our tribe did, we would have lost Animal (due to the inactivity rule) and whoever picked the trap square, whereas you guys would have only had one boot. So the tribes would have evened up. And it would have been very possible for you guys to throw it, too, since, IIRC, Beaker screwed up one time and took 3 squares instead of 1.

ncassaro

I mean I would love to play a game and not have to do much to make f8.

I would not say booting the Streeters was the equivalent of "not having to do much." I put just as much thought into considering the pros and cons of booting them (and all the challenge throwing and Fozzie dilemma and whatnot) as I would have put into making them my allies or whatever. I didn't lead the charge against Oscar, Elmo, the Count, and Cookie Monster because it was the easy thing to do, I did it because I put careful thought into it and saw it as the smartest thing to do. I don't really see the point in making Final 8 via doing nothing. Why wouldn't I have just played a smaller game, then, if that's what I had wanted?

Anyway, I'm not trying to say it wasn't a frustrating experience, I'm sure it was. It's just that a lot of people have been in similar situations, myself included. It happens all the time. You lose the pre-merge challenges and all of a sudden you're facing people who don't want to give you a shot. It can be a real pain in the ass. I myself enjoyed fighting the forces of evil and all that jazz, but I still know how frustrating it can be for everyone to shoot you down and not give you the time of day. But a lot of us know that because a lot of us are familiar with it. And yet Muppetstreet is the game that is continually brought up as being some sort of travesty, and I don't get why it's singled out for that. Especially considering that was not a case of the majority being disrespectful, the Streeters made several bad group decisions that sealed their fates (all the challenges they should have thrown), and Cookie Monster actually might have lasted past a few Muppets if he hadn't made himself entirely useless in the PoV competition.

We couldn't throw, because we didn't actually have a 4-3 majority. I had given up my vote in that challenge (and darn, I didn't realize till now that that game had an inactivity rule or that Animal would've been removed by it.... that sucks :( ) so it was 3-3 on NuStreet. Anyway we devised a plan to load past votes on Kermit and it worked, but Miss Piggy won a challenge for us AND the merge came a round earlier than expected.

Yeah but this was a case of losing 2 challenges and winning that 1 challenge that was a curse, then we swapped and were screwed for the rest of the game. It's not like this was Palau or Fiji where a tribe got decimated by immunity losses, we just lost in the beginning and couldn't catch a break after that.

As for the veto where Cookie Monster gave everything up, it was a choice between 10th place and 9th place for ILT, so I can't fault him there. I gave up 3 jury votes because I didn't see the point of playing if I had no chance of winning, but I would not necessarily do that if the game were being held today :shrug

I get why the NuMuppets were mad but the NuStreeters had a pretty good shot at staying in the game much longer. They went for flashy/short-term instead of thinking long-term. I can't blame them though since we didn't know the merge was coming that soon.

Eep. So if we don't pile votes on Kermit, nuStreet sticks together?

I really don't think so.
