This was an ok episode. Not as good as last week, because it was pretty obvious that team volleyball was too far behind. But at least the entertaining teams continue to stick around.  Nick & Vicki had me thinking that everyone COULD take the FF...alol  I was like...wait, can't only one team take it? I'm pleasantly surprised that Michael and Kevin are still doing well.

This season is pretty boring. The cast is wonderful and the elimination order has been close to perfect, but the course itself is just way too easy and there's little to no drama or fighting. It's just a bunch of fairly likable people having fun completing easy tasks. Which is nice, but it doesn't carry a show.

Wasn't a huge fan of this recent episode either. It reminded me, among others, of leg 7 in TAR7 (the second Botswana leg): no bunching, a few shake-ups among the final placements, while the last place team is too far behind and never catch up. The volleyball chicks were hot but fairly boring, so as far as I'm concerned, this season is 4 for 4 in terms of eliminations I approve of. The three dating couples are still going strong. I expect Nick and Vicki to be eliminated pretty soon. Their lack of knowledge over the Fast Forward was funny though. I can see the other two couples hanging around for the long haul. This season features some great individual characters. In my opinion, two of the best females they've ever had on the show are in this season: Brook (the blond TV host) and Mallory (the daughter with her father). Brook is a great personality and Mallory is a cartoon character. Neither have annoyed me, though I can see how others might view them that way. Michael (Kevin's father) is also pretty funny. I'm glad they've recovered from their troubles in Ghana. Nat and Kat are slowly growing on me too. Two first places in a row is very solid, so I'm interested to see how they fair now that they are without their Fast Forward power. So overall, I'm still liking this season. It's definitely gotten better, even though this leg wasn't too great. Russia should be fun (Babushka!) and I know where they go afterward, so at the very least I'll love the rest of the locations they visit. |

Jill and Thomas have begun to show their personalities. They have an interesting team dynamic, too, with Jill constantly needing to prove herself and Thomas constantly assuming she won't. I've begun to like Michael a little more, but Kevin is boring, and there's no conflict on that team. They're self-aware and just trying to have a good time. Which is nice, but also incredibly boring. I agree with Jeff that Brook and Mallory are two of the best characters we've ever seen, though. They're pretty much carrying this season for me. |

I would have rather seen Chad and Stephanie go home over Katie and Rachel, but hey, not really invested in either team. Theres only two teams I don't like and the rest I enjoy! But yeah, its like everyones too nice, theres no major villians to root against <_< Still, my favourite TAR season in ages |

I love Brook & Claire & Mallory. To me, Michael is such a cartoon character too and I could totally see him & Mallory in an actual cartoon. :lol: I'm not really with you on the "two first places in a row is very solid" thing though considering the leg itself. For one thing, the order basically stayed the same from last leg to this one and second, they took the Fast Forward. If they continue winning legs, I'll be impressed but I don't think this was anything special. |

Jesus how difficult did the detours look? I would have been so screwed. I am really warming to Nat and Kat now, especially when they with Nick and Vicki (<3) and Gary and Mallory dumped the asshole pair :lol: But then they got ahead. I can't stand those two, at least Jill and Thomas had barely any screentime, despite stealing Micheal and Kevins first place! Mallory being an international sweetheart was great, getting those russian guys after her for vodka with them! I am glad that Nick and Vicki didn't go home, although we need to dump a couple soon, they aren't as entertaining as the other teams this year. Those Babushkas though, so glam and real

This season SUCKS. All of my favos have been eliminated or are sucking. Chadgoddess and Nick/Viki <333 Hopefully one of them prevails =( PLEASE let Kevin & Michael be eliminated next episode and not one of them. |

This season is kind of boring but I've been slacking with shows anyways. Nat and Kat were once again the shining stars this episode, but I'm not suprised. These detours are just boring. I mean, who enjoys watching people competitively plant potatoes?  Although I love almost all the teams left and especially Vicki's positive outlook on life. They're so fucked though, let's face it.

I'm so glad this season has continued to improve. Last week was pretty boring, but this last episode was hilarious. Babushkas and vodka offerings and some really great locations. I think the shot of Mallory being lifted over the fence by the Russian guy was one of the single funniest shots ever in TAR. I wouldn't have minded Nick and Vicki being eliminated. Who knows, maybe they'll go home next week, even though the Speedbumps are the easiest tasks known to man. I do think they're pretty far behind though, which may be their undoing. I'm also sort of surprised to see two non-elim legs already. It'll be leg 7, and there are still 7 teams left in the race. I like that though. There are what, 12 legs in this thing? That means only one more non-elim, which will probably make the second half of this season even more fun. This is leagues above TAR16. |

Holy shit I love Mallory so much. She was so cute in her babushka outfit waddling around all over the place acting all frantic. And then when she tried hopping the fence and the guy invited her inside for vodka <3. I also laughed when they showed Stephanie's impression of what she though Mallory would be like when she saw the manure, and it was like dead on. :lol: I didn't even know if Mallory or Stephanie was the one saying it. Steph/Chad or Mallory NEED to win. All the other couples do nothing for me. I'll give props to Brooke/Claire though. They seem really strong. I think they have the best average placing of all the teams? I thought when they had the bad taxi at first that they might be in trouble, but they always seem to excel at all the tasks and don't make a lot of dumb mistakes. If I had to bet on any team to make the final leg it'd probably be them. |

I don't know what's wrong with you. This season has had the best elimination order in...ever.  Anyway, I'm glad Nick/Vicki were saved, their idiocy is hilarious and Vicki is amazingly cute. |

YAY I'm so glad those idiots finally left. Now all the teams I had a burning hatred for are gone <3 If only Jill/Thomas could leave next then I could tolerate any of the remaining teams winning, even though Nick/Vicki totally suck. CHAD/STEPHANIEGODDESS BARELY SURVIVING It was so ridiculous how in their interview Stephanie was all "Chad was really supportive today" after he like was pulling his hair out and yelling at her nonstop during the roadblock, and when she couldn't find the figurine or w/e in the tower. I love them. I hope they don't oversleep too much next epi.
