Kidding. I've hosted him four times and he's an amazing player. He is really good with words, and could probably convince anyone to do anything.

And island sun, I hope you don't permanently retire or at least still drop by :( you're a huge part of GTS. I can't imagine GTS being a ghosttown, it's just too awesome for that. ^_^

Don't worry, GTS is still bookmarked. :wink I can spare like 5 minutes a day, that's not an issue. I just can't spend every night from 8-11pm, plus more if I want to get ahead, in a game. :hee

Mikester is such an impressive player. In BB12, he balanced his schtick and strategy really well (as well as one could with his schtick, at least).

Hell yeah to island sun and mikester making this list! Both great players with an impressive sense of humor.

I particularly enjoyed my time with island sun in Chaos : BB...Libra was one of the best characters I've ever seen!! Tyson was also hilarious in Tocantins. So glad I beat him though. :rofl

And Mikester...I adored him as Kobra in The Nightclub 3...I was so rooting for him to be the first male winner, as the cool underdog dude. He also shined as Sydney in Tocantins, where he had an impeccable strategic game. To manage past votes and convince others to vote your way so that you can pile up past votes on someone else = genius. :oldman

Another day, another update!

#7 on the list is......

unduli clone

Referenced Games:

Vertigo 7 (4th)
Kiribati (1st)

unduli clone is living, breathing proof that you only need two games to impress me and make it on to this list. In both games, UC was my official pick for most impressive player in the game. He is so smooth, and so dangerous. He has that unique ability to play a fantastic social game where you aren't threatened by him, even though you should be. UC is also very good at challenges, and of course has the strategic game down pat.

Let me tell you what I mean.

In Vertigo 7, UC played as Frodo. While I immediately recognized the game that Bluth was playing (everyone's best friend) I didn't know what UC was up to. He clearly talked to everyone, had a good social game, and knew what he was doing, but I didn't know who he was tightly aligned with. We had an unspoken alliance of sorts, and he seemed to have the same thing with a bunch of other people too. And if he didn't, people liked UC enough to not target him.

It's rare for me to deal with a player like that. Should I be threatened by him? Maybe, but I'm not. I really trust him, because I think he actually has my back. Unlike Bluth, who I am simply another best friend to among his many best friends, UC didn't seem to be playing as strong of a game. He wasn't as well connected, but he was connected enough to be in good standing with just about everyone.

The game moved along, and while Bluth continued to forge ahead with strong relationships, I knew he was my #1 target. As for UC, I wanted to go the distance with him. Sure, he wasn't my #1 ally, but he was close. I couldn't help but like him and trust him. UC just has a way about him, I guess.

In the end, UC came in 4th. At the cast reveal, I was a bit surprised to learn that I had never heard of the person playing Frodo. Whoever it was, they were damn impressive, much more so than the rest of the cast. For my next game, whenever that would be, I knew I wanted to get UC in it to truly see his skills first-hand.

The opportunity arrived when I hosted Kiribati earlier this year. The cast was a widely mixed bag of veterans, a couple newer players, some people who I've never seen play, some regulars, and some gigantic question marks. From the lot of 18, I chose UC to win pre-season, simply based on his game in Vertigo 7. I thought he had the right combination of social, strategy, and challenge strength to win. He wasn't going to stand out too much, but he would be good enough to keep up with the veterans surrounding him. Turns out UC far surpassed himself from Vertigo 7 and neglected to hide in the shadows. As the winner of Kiribati, he wound up playing one of the best games I've ever seen. Period.

Kiribati had a bit of a crazy start, and just two days into it UC was attending the first Tribal Council in a tribe of six. He was being targeted by one member, notremojo, and he knew this. However, it was all part of his new alliance's plan, as they were about to pull off an unbelievable move: a 3-2-1 vote in the very first round of the game. Although UC did not spear-head the idea, he encouraged it and played it up well to the rest of his tribe. He was willing to put his name out there to be targeted for this move to work.

After the 3-2-1 succeeded at the first vote, Remote33 emerged as the strategic beast of the tribe, being the person who led the charge of the rare blindside. Meanwhile, UC was right where he needed to be. He was on the right side of the numbers, yet he started working CrystalOwnage, who was left out of the 3-2-1 plan. Just a couple days later, UC was running the tribe, not Remote; had their tribe attended a third Tribal Council before the swap, every single player would have turned to UC to save them. In the end, I think they would have actually gotten rid of Remote, their original leader, and UC would have then been in full power.

When three tribes became two, UC landed on a tribe with his tightest ally, CrystalOwnage, and a few other people who were more than willing to work with him. Before the first night of the swap was over, UC was already integrated into a very strong and somehow secretive alliance of four. Other alliances formed, especially after a mutiny where Remote joined their tribe, and UC gained even more power. The totem pole may have been confusing on paper, but no matter which way you sliced it, UC remained on top.

At the merge, UC's tribe held a seven person majority over the four newcomers. UC was their unspoken and unofficial leader, and when Remote won the first individual challenge, saving himself, UC received a few votes. However, unlike Remote, certain people weren't so willing to vote UC out, so he survived.

In the second round of the merge, UC went from unofficial leader of the majority to all-out threat that everyone knew about. UC won the second challenge and knew that he wanted Quiddity to go due to his challenge strength, yet Manzana was the main target. It was at Tribal Council that UC made a bold move: he gave Manzana immunity, and in return Manzana promised to save UC whenever he needed it. The move worked, as Quiddity was voted out that night. On his way out, Quiddity remarked that he respected UC's move. From this night forward, every single player in the game knew that UC was now the biggest threat to win.

Next came a big twist that no one expected: the final nine were split into three tribes of three. Two of these tribes would attend Tribal Council and vote one person out. UC wound up at the next Tribal Council and was again targeted, this time for being a massive threat. However, his move to give Manzana immunity worked out in his favor, as Manzana refused to vote for UC. Instead, he voted for tropical rain, which led to a 2-2-2 tie. UC was involved in the tie and, again, was targeted, but Manzana put his foot down in the re-vote and tropical rain was voted out instead. They had their chance. UC was right their in the palm of their collective hands, but due to handing over immunity in the previous round, UC was spared.

UC was on the losing side of the next vote, yet somehow he wasn't the person targeted. Instead, it was Remote. The three tribes re-merged at the final seven and at this point I was absolutely certain that UC was doomed. He was being targeted by an alliance of four, but several things happened to prevent this: 1) island sun flipped, 2) Rudy flipped against UC, once again sealing his fate, but at the last second during voting, 3) Manzana sided with UC and voted out Thailand Survivor.

It was the final six, and after so many close calls in a row, UC was still in the game. It didn't make sense to me. Everyone knew that if UC made it to the final two, he would win the game. Hands down. No question. They had opportunity after opportunity to boot him, but at every Tribal Council at least one person opted not to do it. Rudy called UC out once again as he was being voted out at the final six, telling everyone to vote out UC. If he made it to the final two, UC had his vote for sure.

UC once again avoided the target at the final five when the tribe decided to get rid of the less-threatening angstygoldfish, but at the final four UC was the #1 target. The only way he would survive was if he won immunity. Guess what? Yep, UC won immunity and went right into the final three against Manzana and island sun. UC worked island sun hard during the next 24 hours, telling IS that the game deserved a final two as epic as them, etc. In the end, in the most shocking decision of the game thus far, it worked: IS won immunity and brought UC to the final two. It was a massive move, as well as a massive mistake.

UC had a solid FTC and ended up sweeping all the votes for himself, winning 9-0 over island sun. To win unanimously against island sun in a game this insane and chaotic is no easy feat, but UC pulled it off. He had such an unbelievable story, such an incredible game, that it was hard to not say he was definitely the best overall player of all 18 contestants. Here were UC's main points in his confessional about why he should win the game:

Tanya

Okay, so I think the main argument I'm going to put forth is that I was established as one of the game's biggest threats early on, but managed to get to the end because of personal connections and pretty much mindfucking people.

- I survived TWELVE TC's, more than anyone else in this game.
- I amassed TWELVE votes over seven TC's. I was always targeted as a threat and because people knew I wouldn't flip on my alliance - I wasn't wishy-washy.
- I gave up the IN to Matthew to guarantee a better F9 setup for myself, and it paid off hugely.
- My personal connections saved me at F8 when I should have, by all accounts, been gone.
- My personal connections saved me at F7 when I should have, by all accounts, been gone.
- At F6 I began my game of building up my enemies as jury threats. I even made Peter out to be someone who would scoop up all the anti-Marakei sentiment, and created Helen into a strategic monstrosity who would win unanimously, against even me.
- At F4 I won a key IC and went to bat for my girl Heidi. I was fooled by the HII, I'll admit.
- At F3 I continued my F6-era gameplay by presenting Matthew as a threat and preying on Neleh's sense of integrity - which is ironic, since her ethical move was booting the person who she was friends with and making herself the arbiter of his fate.

The thing is, UC wasn't just all about making gigantic moves; it was the subtle moves that also influenced the game, and were equally if not more impressive. One of them was telling every single person except two that he was voting for them. Though it sometimes caused him to get votes in return, he was okay with that because almost everyone knew where he stood. They also respected him for it, which helped him win jury votes in the end. He played such a clean yet dominating game, something you rarely ever see.

Obviously this placement in my ranking was influenced more by Kiribati than Vertigo 7, but that's for two reasons: 1) he played a much better game in Kiribati, and 2) I was able to watch him more closely in Kiribati and pick up on all of his little moves, strategic and social, that got him to the end because I was the host. UC has proven that with two strong performances, you can make it on this list. But they weren't just strong, I assure you. Both performances, especially in Kiribati, were powerful as hell.

UC clearly needs to play in more ORGs. At the same time, I respect the hell out of the guy for only playing in a couple games a year, as it stands now. He's played in five or so, right? And I haven't seen his name on a cast list since Kiribati (correct me if I'm wrong here, please). The more he plays, the better he is going to get. I'd say in a year or so, if he plays in a few more games, UC will be considered as one of the best ORG players around. I hope this write-up gives people a small glimmer of that future.

Very very few players are as well-rounded as UC. He is strong in challenges, extremely careful with his social game, and makes big, risky strategic moves that not only help him move forward, but also gain jury votes at the end. In every which way, he is a threat. He excels in every area. The fact that he can smoothly and dangerously bring it all together into one complete package is astounding. That is why UC, with only two games I've seen from him, ranks in as #7 on my list of best ORG players I've ever seen.

Unduli is great! I played with him in ILM3 and he was my closest ally together with CLD. He was the last of the three of us left and almost made the final challenge but was voted out by the jury who just did not like him despite being an underdog.

I think ILM3 (as Farrah) was after Kiribati.

Had Mary Jane not been a complete retard by vetoing Ash at the final 4, unduli most likely wins Vertigo 7, too, since Mary Jane and Frodo were taking each other to the finals.

Tanya was unbelievable. I knew she was a great player when she was the only person to tell me about Penny targeting me. After she gave up immunity to Matthew, we all knew she was unstoppable if she made the finals. By all accounts, she was toast at the final 9. Then, she is gone at the final 8 if Jenna stopped playing emotionally (or at least lied to me). Then, she leaves at the final 7 if not for another complete clusterfuck. I don't understand some people's decisions. Then again, Kiribati was such a difficult game to play, and everyone made mistakes.

I only knew him a brief time in Kiribati but I loved him for helping save me and switching it up so early on, and I loved him as Farrah in ILM3 with how he managed to make it to the semi-finals with the entire cast hating him.

I think he is one of the best gamers out there right now. I didn't follow Vertigo7 very closely because I was playing JH7 at the time but the one thing I did come away with was that UnduliClone as Frodo was the player that interested me the most. And since I didn't know him at all, I hoped I'd get to see him again when my head was more into cohosting. Along comes Kiribati. Jeff says UC is in. I don't think any other casting pleased me so much.

Of course, he was all a host could ask for. And should be a top contender for Game Winner this year at the ORG Awards.
