In which Bassy is a pain in the ass.

Can't even pretend to be hetero OVER THE INTERNET

 There were several instances today of my being a pain in the ass.

3 weeks ago, on the first day of classes, we got a huge course kit with the syllabus and a huge grid that details all the homework for every week. Not the easiest to follow (visually), but all the info is there.

Today, my classmate forgot to do her homework, plain and simple. When I asked why, she said, quote, "I was sick last week, and I didn't know." BULLSHIT. I won't call her on it because she's my friend, but just proves she's a lazy slag and doesn't want to study.

Next: All students in my program have to take a basic English grammar course. I was exempted from this requirement, since I got my degree. In fact, it was my prof who suggested I get the exemption, it wasn't of my own doing.

Anyway, we had homework due today. I didn't have to do it (technically), but I did it anyway "just in case" something went wrong with the exemption. One girl in my class essentially asked me for the answers, since she didn't want to hand in her own work. In no uncertain terms, I told her to fuck the hell off and do her own work. She retaliated and called me a dick. All very jovially, of course.

Next: At my school, there are people roaming the halls who try to sell you cell phone plans. Two of them approached me, and asked if I had a cell phone. Yes, I do, but I'm happy with my service, thank you. Then one of 'em asks me, "Do you mind if I ask you how much you pay for cell phone service per month?"

Ummm. "Yeah, actually, I do mind. Thanks." Cue the menacing stare, and he backs away. "Thank you, ok, have a nice day. Sorry to bother you."

God, I was such a cunt today, it was hilarious.

 I'm way too submissive to not let someone copy my homework if they ask. :lbf

"Uhm...uh...ok..."

And when someone asks me to sign a petition I usually stop to listen to them. @_@

ETA - This was only in San Diego, actually. I'm going to school in Houston now and there's no petition people on campus, for some reason.

I don't mind people copying my homework at times because I know I've done the same to numerous people. It's called teamwork, son.

 Teamwork = a group of people doing an assignment together for the first time.

A group of people copying off one person who has done their work =/= teamwork.
