 I'm just reading stuff about Borneo, and I'm wondering how many people here started watching Survivor when the first episode aired on television on May 31st of 2000.

If you started watching Survivor at a later time, even starting with the second episode of Borneo, please choose No.

If you started watching Survivor with the first episode of Borneo, but it was after the season had aired on television, please choose No.

If you started watching Survivor at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st of 2000 when it originally aired and have been along for the ride since the moment it started, please choose Yes.

 I'm a yes. I started watching in episode 1 of Borneo way back when. I had no idea what it was. I'd seen a commercial for someone falling in water holding a torch and I thought that was some how the premise..people doing obstical courses and having to keep their torches lit. Continued watching every week and every season for the last 10 years, never missed and episode. <3 I was 12. -_-

 I started watching during Palau in the Steph boot episode. Prior to watching it for the first time I thought it was some Fear Factor-esque show :lbf and thought Janu/Coby were permanent jurors that showed up each season or something before I "got" it in the next episode.

 I watched the Borneo finale and loved the concept. I watched the first two episodes of Allstars for Rudy. And even before watching I was sketching out random "seasons" containing my friends, video game characters and so on on back of worksheets. But I didn't start consistently watching all the way until Borneo.

 I started with the second episode. Then I missed a bunch in the middle and caught up when the jury started.

Then I watched them all when they aired the repeats of the season later on.

 I wanted to watch Survivor when it first came out, but it started when I didn't have control over the tv (was just a kid :().

So I finally was able to take control during Episode 1 of Survivor: Africa.

 No, I started watching about episode 6 or so (whenever Gretchen got booted) then, like the rest of the world, watched the remainder of the season. I watched most of Australia and then didn't watch again until All-Stars. I haven't missed an episode since.
