It's not that I HATE her, she's actually alright, I just think that people overrate her so so much. I feel the same way about actresses like Rachel McAdams too tho (who gave one really great performance in Mean Girls and now people act like she's great in everything else too ugh).

I like them both but I don't think that they're overrated. I like both not because of their acting though, I love Zooey because she's cute and hot, I like Rachel McAdam's personality, smile and her eyes.

With the exception of Moulin Rouge, all of those honourable mentions are quite exceptionable.

And I have to disagree with the posters not liking Juno. Probably one of the best comedies of the last decade and far and away the best English language film of 2007 IMO. But I'm not too bothered by the hate it gets since I despise that unnecessary parentheses comedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel that everybody creamed themselves over, so I guess Juno's just the opposite for me.

(500) Days of Summer is an excellent film, and it does non-linear storytelling much better than any of Tarantino's films did.

Rachel McAdams the reason she impresses me is the variety of characters she's managed to play and equally well every time. Mean Girls isnt even my favorite performance of hers off the top of my head it's State of Play.

wtf at suggesting McAdams was "great" in movies like The Notebook or The Family Stone? I'd use the word "sufficient" or the phrase "fails to elevate the material unlike her superior costars." I haven't seen State of Play though (I remember wanting to see it for Helen Mirren but then I heard she wasn't in it much or something so I didn't even bother).

Please. The non-linear story telling was probably the most impressive thing about unnecessary parentheses movie and THAT'S not saying much. Eternal Sunshine and Mulholland Drive still did it a lot better, and with exceptional acting.

The difference between 500 Days and Little Miss Sunshine or Juno is that I think 500 Days never intended to be an awards bait, it was pretty much a romantic comedy. Slightly quirky, but not anything out of the ordinary and most critics treated it as such. But what turned me off against movies like Juno is that critics were acting like it was some deep masterpiece and it was so heavily promoted.
Why aren't you pointing your finger at grows, who I have provided sufficient evidence against? She is the starter of all things evil in games.

Mean Girls a bit robbed because it's somehow defied the genre so much that like 90% of straight men will admit they loved it for more than the eye candy.

For a movie that was supposed to be a female version of Harold & Kumar and I did not laugh even once.
