I was almost putting it on the top ten just to piss people off and write my massive review of it describing why the haters are actually missing huge shit about it. Fun fact (for me, anyway) about this top ten: out of my top five movies of all time, only 1 was able to make this list. EYES WIDE SHUT, REBECCA, THE INSIDER and CLUE were all ineligible thanks to the time period restriction. And anyone saying NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, CITY OF GOD and PAN'S LABYRINTH are not good needs to be slapped upside the head.

I'm just saying that, based on DGT's pick of "The Village", I personally enjoyed those other two I mentioned more so than "The Village." Hope that clarifies things.
