(500) Days of Summer or Garden State have the best movie soundtrack of all time. At least one of them has an Oscar as proof.

Neither one has any Oscars though :shrug Also the Score Oscar will be forever dead after they awarded Brokeback over three much more memorable nominees. lol at their random nomination for The Hurt Locker though

Gustavo Santaolalla is like an unbleachable shitstain on the underwear of the Academy. The fact that they gave the motherfucker an Oscar for BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and BABEL, two of the most insipid and insufferable scores in recent years, was the worst kind of insult.

First, a movie doesn't have to win Oscar's to say that a movie is great. I love (500)'s soundtrack too. They chose the best songs to bring nostalgia to every scene of the movie.

Second, I love Brokeback's score.

Lol.. obv, I know that, but Snoopy incorrectly stated that one of the two films he mentioned has won an Oscar to "prove" that it had a great soundtrack which is untrue and even if it was, like you said it's not proof of anything.

Also, P+P or Memoirs of a Geisha absolutely deserved to win over Brokeback Mountain. The Constant Gardener too, just not as much. I can't really remember Munich's score so I'd have to revisit it.

I'm writing something way more important tonight out of necessity, so #5 is pushed back a day yet again, so I'll throw out more Honorable Mentions (I really do have a massive list of these from a week and a half ago)…

Drag Me To Hell was one of my top 3 movies I saw last year. Horror satire at it's very best.

Drag Me To Hell. <3 I personally think that this is the best movie to watch in the cinema with your friends as you scream and laugh at the same time by the humor and suspense it brings you. :<3

The thing I'm writing right now needs to keep taking priority, and I'm not going to pretend it's going to be finished by tonight. So for the next few days, I won't be touching #5, which makes me mad. But it'll be posted this week and the list continuing on.

But for now… oh yes…

I think a lot about PRECIOUS simply doesn't work. Like, at all. What makes it so positively memorable for me can be summed up in two words: Gabourey Sidibe.

Yeah, they didn't bring out the sympathy in its viewers, instead, they made the audience laugh out loud by almost every scene.

For me, La Mo'nique and Paula Patton are also great supporting actresses in that movie. i like them than Gabourey Sidibe.

Oh and Precious' classmates were hilarious as fuck. :lbf :lbf
