Best in Show :<3 I had totally forgotten about that movie.

I've never seen Unbreakable but after reading that, I want to so badly. ^_^

Aw, there goes my hopes for Borat's dark horse success in this ranking. :lbf

Glad to see Eternal Sunshine and Little Miss Sunshine didn't make the cut. They're both awfully overrated. Not like LOTR or anything, but still.

Anyway, my main problem with Unbreakable is that I will always compare it to The Sixth Sense. Nothing I can do about it, it's just an unavoidable connection my brain makes.

And I'd be willing to go out on a limb and go as far as to say that The Village was better than Unbreakable.

I think I also have a top ten movies of the decade list somewhere. Though since it's been awhile since I looked at it, I'm sure it would change at least a little bit.

Out of all the movies mentioned either in Honorable Mentions or your actual top ten, The Hurt Locker is probably my favorite. Actually, scratch that - easily my favorite. The fact that it won some silly Oscars has nothing to do with it. I also question the taste of those who claim to have fallen asleep or whatnot during that particular movie. Like.....seriously? Okay, go enjoy Clash of the Titans in 3D or whatever.

I expect to see The Departed mentioned, either honorably or in the top ten. Speaking to the point, you just can't talk best movies of the first decade of this millennium and not mention The Departed.

I'm glad to see the LOTR trilogy get some recognition, because I don't think it gets enough. Sure, it tied two other films for most Academy Awards of all time, but who cares about that? People seem to have forgotten the impact of Jackson's trilogy, where he essentially came forth and said, "alright people, look, I'll show you how to make an epic movie with our new technology. Ignore what George Lucas is doing over there with Jar Jar and cartoon Yoda's. I'm the real deal." However, I must say that I loved King Kong itself more than the LOTR trilogy, so I'm hoping that is mentioned somewhere along the line as well.

I LOVE this movie  it's one of those movies I would always watch whenever it was on TV. They always air like the first two ones now though. =/

I think I also have a top ten movies of the decade list somewhere.

My Top 10 list would probably contain the following movies, in no particular order:

The Departed
Up
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy
No Country for Old Men
Sin City
Frost/Nixon
300
Finding Nemo
Sicko

ETA: But I can think of about 20 more that would give all of those a run for their money. :lbf

Finding Nemo
The Departed
Memento
Brokeback Mountain
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
House of Flying Daggers

Lost in Translation
Why aren't you pointing your finger at grows, who I have provided sufficient evidence against? She is the starter of all things evil in games.
