If top row is suddenly prestigious, Russell deserves top row more than Parvati... but it's clearly not. The top 3 most important characters in the season are clearly Sandra, Parvati, and Russell, and the layout still emphasizes that. |

I don't disagree. Russell, however, had a far larger presence in powering the strategy of the season and in creating the storyline of the season. Sort of like how Sash played a better game than NaOnka this season, but NaOnka is still clearly the bigger character. |

Parvati was still a great character, and was always involved in the storyline... so yeah you can't say he deserves it more than Parvati but whatever. The dragon slayer videos will be extras.

I don't think Russell should've had nearly so much of a focus in the episodes, but he got it. You can't dispute that he got the attention of the editors. I mean, the whole story of HvV was about how Russell got out everyone who posed a threat to him and several people who didn't, and how the one person that was a threat to him that he did not remove whipped his ass in the end. Russell was the main story of HvV...

We're discussing back seasons of reality tv shows, not the newest Harry Potter movie. There is no advertising money to be made and CBS is fully aware that the fans who downloaded their seasons off a torrent or IRC client are also the most likely to purchase said seasons when they are released on DVD. Speaking of which - MARQUESAS AND AFRICA ARE OUT! So WHEN will the awesome and amazing Family edition of TAR be released? |

the positioning on the box really doesn't matter at all but why did they use Parv's FvF cast pic for the box?  and uhm - hvv was NOT the story of russell. samoa, yes, but his airtime and storyline was drastically reduced in hvv and he wasn't any more important than a lot of people. |

Russell was more important than like...75% of the cast at least? Most of the drama centered around him both on the Villains tribe and post-merge. And if you go by confessionals he has 33% more airtime than the 2nd most visible person that season so... |

so nothing. in hvv he earned the airtime he got and he wasn't even ridiculously visible, many others were just as important to the season and many others received more air-time than they actually should have. in samoa we got too much russell at the expense of everyone else and at the expense of what was actually happening. to me there's a HUGE difference between russell's repetitive unnecessary confessionals in samoa that actually had little to do with what was happening and russell's actual impact on the hvv season being highlighted. |
