You complained about the people who made it far because they weren't true All-Stars or whatever and you were disappointed because it was promoted as the "best of the best players" (which: it wasn't) and that's not how it turned out.

I wish THAT storyline had played out.

One of them dominating is no different than Amber dominating so let's not pretend we just didn't want to see boring people dominate, because that's certainly what we would have seen if Tina or Ethan had dominated, you just didn't like the actual people who ended up winning out beating your favorites. Well, yeah, exactly. Tina succeeding would have been much more enjoyable than Amber succeeding. Tina is nowhere near as boring as Amber, yw.

I've already explained the winners, but players like Lex & Kathy (who were considered "deserving" All-Stars) were the ones that took out a large majority of the "legendary" Survivors: Richard Hatch, Jerri, Colby. And as for Colby, he wasn't into it in the first place. He basically took himself out, so you have those people to blame just as much as Jenna Lewis and Boston Rob. Other "deserving All-Stars", like Sue, Alicia, Rupert, and Tom, were just as responsible for their own eliminations. Romber dominated, yes, but they could have been stopped, easily. And nope, Tina dominating wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining. She sucks and it would have been repeat of her presence Australia which was also nothing special in terms of entertainment. All-Stars was amazing the way it was. It had alliances, backstabbing, romance, fighting, vitriolic juries, broken friendships... everything. I'm sorry it wasn't your favorites that won out but it ended up being an amazing season regardless.

Not to say it didn't happen, but we weren't shown footage of them even approaching Alicia/Tom about flipping. Their decision to vote off Jerri was to gain favor with Boston Rob. They put all their eggs in his basket just like every other person in the game. And thats why they got so upset when he decided to stick with his original tribe over them. You would think if their game plan was to have Alicia and Tom flip, then it would only hurt them to boot Amber, and keeping Jerri would give them 6-3 and eventually 4-2 numbers. Lex and Kathy are to blame here, mostly Lex because of how bitter he was about it when he did the same thing to Colby, Ethan, and Jerri. Lex ruined ASS. Which should have been expected because he was equally as awful in Africa with his witchhunt for the mystery vote and all of that.
