And why am I Waiver 1, whatever that means? Say you want to pick up player x from the free agent list. You will click to pick him up, and then a period of time will pass until you actually do pick him up. If someone else tries to pick him up in that period of time, whoever has higher waiver position gets him. When you pick up a player, you drop to the lowest spot on the waiver wire. EXAMPLE: Arian Foster breaks his leg and his backup Carnell Williams goes for 400 yards. Obviously, everyone's gonna try to pick up Williams. This helps prevent a total free-for-all on getting Williams.

Burress was a dissappointment for me the last couple of weeks so I decided I'd use the other receivers this week. Sure working out for me good! And to make things better both my starting QB and my backup QB have bye weeks at the same time forcing me to raid the waiver list for my starting QB this week.
