Every single time CG shows up there is dramerz. and newbies, just ignore Blondizilla. She is a girl and it's that time of the month maybe? oh my heck my shift key is not working so if I want caps I have to use capslocks, and then there are question markes and exclamations which I just have to copy and paste. |

I think the simple option is just limiting membership to people who have played in games/ have received legitimate invitations to post here. We don't need contributors who are just going to talk about Survivor or rank things - that's why Sucks exists. In my mind, GTS was always a private game-based forum that was open only by invitation and only by people who gamed regularly. I always thought GTS was a forum essentially designed to host games and allow players to interact, with a smattering of real-life drama and other interests thrown in (in the appropriate forums). People who don't play and post here shouldn't exist. New members shouldn't be approved unless they are presented to GTS in some form or fashion, whether it means getting invited by multiple people, or their "sponsor" explaining to an admin why they belong. Hell, let's do a sponsor system where a person can only join the site if they've been sponsored. If they're not here to play games and are here just to spam/ contribute to the non-essential talk, the sponsor gets post-restricted. Users can only sponsor a specific number amount of people per year, and can only sponsor after a certain timeframe of being here. A board that's basically lawless only works when the members of the community are handpicked. Jes' sayin'. |

I agree with Unduli. I don't know about banning XI, but the invitation through games as a qualification to join this site sounds like a good way to restrict nobodies from joining. |
