Hell, let's do a sponsor system where a person can only join the site if they've been sponsored. If they're not here to play games and are here just to spam/ contribute to the non-essential talk, the sponsor gets post-restricted. Users can only sponsor a specific number amount of people per year, and can only sponsor after a certain timeframe of being here. A board that's basically lawless only works when the members of the community are handpicked. Jes' sayin'. Agreed so much with this. This is all we need. We don't need a moderator to police everything we do. wtf? Why are people calling for that? That would make this site so much less fun than it is. Also yay @ Fat Mikester surviving!!

They hack the person's account somehow and then post a bunch of threads in their name. No one knows if those are people who have been invited to games, played in games or whatever. And they probably have multiple IPs so nothing can be done about it and this thread is entirely useless? Amirite? Although apparently ts2 now knows who the person is doing it now, and it's someone she likes and now she wishes she didn't know? That's what she said.

It's way too subjective and post-restricting many new yet GOOD posters (off the top of my head, saxmachine) just based on their sign-up date seems a little ridiculous and way too radical. As of late, in the past few weeks, I agree that GTS has been on a downward slide -- but aside from that, in my opinion, GTS has only grown and improved. Back when it was only some 100 members, it was great...don't get me wrong. But GTS now being frequented by so many more people (many of them posters who contribute - the good posters far outweigh posters who troll/post redundant shit) and expanding the way it has is honestly something that a lot of us should be proud about. If an annoying poster like TheGreatGonzales surfaces - post restrict them in that instance. If it's a legitimate poster and not a ghostie, then message them and tell them what's up - why they've been post-restricted and what they can do for that to be lifted. I'm not sure if people still have to be approved by an admin to join GTS or not, but if not, I would def suggest that be implemented again.
