Holy shit, I LOVE that movie. I secretly thought about listing it in my original post about what I was hoping would appear, but I went for some bigger names Last Night has one of my favorite endings ever to a movie. To think I only stumbled upon it because I love Sandra Oh

It was a tiny Canadian film so she definitely never had a chance  So robbed though. Especially considering some of the trash that was nominated the year she was eligible. At least she won her second Canadian Oscar/Genie Award for it

I think I love you more and more with every post you make. And my confusing level for respect continues to grow for Gnarls the more and more he comments with intelligence and insight on any film-related topic. |

The next batch of honorable mentions… BELOVED ![]() AFFLICTION ![]() NOISES OFF! ![]() IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER ![]() And one that I am in absolute agony over for not being able to squeeze it onto the list, because it's fucking incredible… THE THIN RED LINE

There really is nothing bad you can say about Silence of the Lambs. It just doesn't hold a special place in my heart because I never saw it in full until a couple of years ago. Haven't seen most of the other movies on this ranking, including the two you've officially included. I watched In the Bedroom because you put it at #1 in your previous ranking, and it was decent, so I'll pay attention to the films you include in this one as well. |

Ugh, it's hard to imagine 9 films better than The Thin Red Line Beloved is my favorite novel like, ever, and I think that they did a good job adapting it. But I prefer all of those other honorable mentions to it Except Noises Off which I haven't seen.

I'm about to watch In The Bedroom too but only just now. I have to admit though I got that film from DGT. I wasn't a movie fan when it came out and I just discovered my love for films just 2 or 3 years ago so yeah. I did watch There Will Be Blood from DGT though, I think it was really high in DGT's list. While I was watching it though, the thing I love about it the most is Daniel Day Lewis' insanely amazing acting but the film as a whole, as much as I appreciate its style and all, it was INCREDIBLY boring. |

Between people visiting, running around for interviews, working, etc., I'm still only halfway through the #9 entry, but it will be coming soon, definitely before Christmas. Although, at this point, I'm doubting the list will be finished before 2011 is over and as I reach 2000 posts. But that bullshit's incidental anyway. |

Oh man, I was hoping it would be Tommy Boy since it is a Chris Farley statement. But the one word hint probably eliminates that.
