Anyone ever had Appendicitis?

Wishes he could love somebody else. Posts: 1,384 Group: ORG Gamerr Member #35 Joined: June 7, 2007	I'm a little bit of a hypochondriac but I dunno I just feel a little weird... I have some lower back pain and it feels weird where my appendix is also (lower right belly). No other symptoms and I feel fine generally. I'm just worried that maybe it is appendicitis but everyone I've talked to said that I'd experience EXTREME/CRIPPLING pain before it got to a point where I'd need to be rushed to a hospital to get it removed. Anyone have any experience with this? Kthx.

okbye Posts: 1,887 Group: ORG Gamerr Member #410 Joined: May 8, 2010	I had appendicitis when I was like 6, I don't remember much, but I do remember I was in, like you said, EXTREME/Crippling pain. I also threw up a LOT. You might have it though, better to be safe than sorry, get it checked out. edit: I just read SG91's post, so yeah pretty much the same thing, lol at us saying the exact same thing.

For me it started as the vomiting and it turned into the stomach pain The vomiting was more prominent for me. I think you might be okay, but again, I'm not a doctor, so be sure to be cautious.

I should mention that I always freak out about the slightest weird feeling. I'm generally a type B chill person but my parents never believe me when I say something is wrong medically because I always think I have something serious that ends up being nothing... for example a few of years ago I felt a small mass in my testicle and I thought it was cancer. It ended up being the epididymis which is like a normal part of the testicle that I wasn't aware of at the time. lolfail. (this was before my anatomy and physiology class) talking about poop and testicles with randos
