Noisy Bastard Posts: 428 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: December 7, 2004	Have you tried any of the local history groups at Leigh Library or Astley Hall (the old hospital). I've got a couple of books like Pubs of Leigh and Pictoral Astley (by John & Sylvia Tongue who i think are involved in the Astley Hall group) but nothing with Tyldesley in. Chamleys in Leigh used to be the best place for historical books but its gone now. There is also a furniture shop in Leigh (Fazakerley's?) opposite Wilkinsons which has some old pictures of Leigh for sale in the window, they may have some contacts. Good Luck.
