While picking up my new Sidekick ID yesterday at Best Buy, I noticed 'new' AT&T Go phones. One was a Nokia music phone (I wantt o say it was the 6026, but I'm not sure) for $119. The other was the Motorola Razr (not really, new, I know) for $109 (Wal Mart's web site has them for $100). They were also selling Go Phone starter kits....For $25!

I like the Sidekick ID because it will data roam on Unicel at home, my old Sidekick Color would not.

Also saw a Jitterbug phone (in box mind you) at the same Best Buy. Not a bad looking phone, in my opinion. Will I add it to the wall? Not for $150 I won't. I paid that for the Sidekick ID.

T-Mobile To Go has brought back the free $25 refill card with a purchase of one of their phones on their website. These crop up pretty often and disappear just as quickly.

T-Mobile brings back the free $25 airtime card with select phones (not the 3 Samsungs that rolled out last week, though). They have added the Samsung T-429 (this phone has been on Best Buy's site for some time) for $100 and includes the free $25 airtime card.

* I was out and about the last few days, and I see now that Sears is getting more involved with Pre-Paid Phones.

* Before they just carried a few Tracfones and Net10 Phones...but now they are selling all Virgin Mobile and AT&T Go Phones (along with Tracfones and Net10 Phones).

* Just thought I'd post this just in-case anyone deals with Sears Stores.. ;)

About ten years ago Sears sold contract phones in my area. I wonder if they will get back into that arena now that they sell prepaid phones.

Best Buy has lowered the price of the Boost Motorola i855e to $60

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8478943&type=product&id=1185267959558

T-Mobile's web site is offering the Nokia 2610 for free after $30 rebate.

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/Phones/Detail.aspx?class=prepaid&device=f6556ea5-36e5-437d-b514-70b9eb819b08

On a side note, if you're looking to pick a 2610 up, check out your local Target, if you have one. I picked one up last night in Keene, NH for just under $20 at clearance price. Sticker said $20.98, but rung up just under $20.

Another source for the 2610 is on GoPhone, refurbished, if you're into the whole Telegraph Company thing (American Telegraph & Telephone Co. heh). You can generally get one for $10-$20 + tax.

On top of the free after rebate Nokia 2610 on T-Mobile's site, you can now get it with a free $25 refill card. Odds are it will end this weekend. They don't seem to go longer than a week or so.
