I get a feed on Facebook from an organization called Bible In My Language http://www.bibleinmylanguage.com/

Since they are nice enough to share word studies in Greek (I found one this morning), when I find them on my page, I'll share them here.

Bible In My Language

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry” (1 Timothy 1:12) Paul was put into the ministry, diakonia, “a position of serving.” The aorist middle participle tithemi reveals that the apostle was placed in a particular location on a specific assignment in a specific place for a specific function with a specific call for a specific ministry of serving God. He realized that he was in prison, enduring unusual hardships, because God counted him faithful to be put into a position of serving!

Thanks Meg.

I've been listening to Hymns on dialup (through radio internet audio only).

I have been looking up the Hymn lyrics and getting some background about the person who wrote the hymn and why. Some of the testimonies given for the inspiration behind the hymn have been very encouraging. They have been like mini Bible studies in themselves. So I have been doing that lately. Not to metion just listening to the hymns has been a refreshing my walk with the Lord.

Indeed; I firmly believe the Lord gave us music and Hymns to refresh and soothe us when we are ragged and torn from our day-to-day battles. Scripture tells us that the Lord would refresh us, but it doesn't limit Him in how He does so.
