I saw Cena turn into the head duscussion of this weeks Raw so I thought....lets talk about Cena. Are you a Cena hater? Cena Lover? Why do you feel this way? You can't doubt he's one of the hardest workers in WWE today, and he's pretty good in the ring...so let's get down to brass tax here. For me I'm a Cena Hater. But that's only happend here recently. I had no real reason to boo the guy. Sure he wasn't my favorite, and I do tend to cheer for some of the Heels as well, but really I had no real reason to boo John Cena. I won't lie...I marked out huge when he was the 30th entrant to the Rumble. So yeah...I didn't start hatin' Cena untill...he talked his shit about The Rock. I mean who the fuck does Cena think he is, talking trash to the Rock for doing movies? After I read that interview...I knew from this point on I hated Cena. So for me it's not a heel/face thing, its personal ya know. I just dislike him. |

I have always been a Cena fan. Like literally... I love the guy. But, I must admit that I prefer when he plays the heel angle. Like when he first started out in the WWE. His good guy gimmick doesn't work as well. I've also noticed, being that I follow his career religiously, that he seems to actually work better matches when he doesn't have the title. I'm not sure why that is? But... yeah... even those who hate Cena must admit that the guy does some amazing amazing things. Things... that many wrestlers have never and will never be capable of doing. I guess for me... it's just that feeling of awe when I hear the first line of his entrance music. Or when he appears on stage. Or when he stands in the ring and lifts the Big Show or Umaga or Kane on his shoulders. He can do some great work. Idk... I guess I can't explain it. And yes he does seem overdramatic and over the top at times, but when he has a fire... passion for this... I've just always loved him. lol. ? |

Personnally, I am with Adam. I didn't hate Cena until he started talking shit about The Rock. I was never really in to Cena anyway but he has done some good stuff in the WWE since he started and I respected that. And like Adam again, when he entered the Rumble I cheered my head off because it was a huge shock. But all in all, I guess I am a Cena Hater. |

First of all, Cena's words about The Rock are very similar to my own feelings about him. And Cena put him over huge in that interview. And I loved The Rock. But he's seriously just turned his back on the business that made him. He wants to get as far away from it as possible, because it does come with a sort of stigma when you're trying to be a serious actor. That's fine if that's what he wants to do, but the consequence is having some fans, like me, just wanna say "hey, fuck you." As far as Cena, I'm kind of on the fence about him. I don't love him or hate him. He's okay on the mic, but kind of repetitive and boring at times. The same can be said about him in the ring, actually. But he does have a sort of aura about him, his charisma I guess, where you just kind of get goosebumps when he comes out. I'd like to see him try to go heel again, at the level he's at now. I don't know if they want to do that with him, being that he's the face of the WWE at the moment, but I think it could be good if they did it right. That's always the problem, though, will they do it right. |

Josh signed off lol so I'll post this here haha. GreenDaddy4Eva (7:06:35 PM): first of all rock didn't turn his back on anything GreenDaddy4Eva (7:06:59 PM): he said he would be back...and i'm sure somewhere down the line he will be for a short while GreenDaddy4Eva (7:07:57 PM): the man is making twice the money making movies, he's doing it to better himself, his family and to see that his future is better off. it urks be that you think he turned his back... JLowery87 signed off at 7:09:28 PM. jlowery87 is offline and will receive your IMs when signing back in. GreenDaddy4Eva (7:09:39 PM): Cena had no right to say the things he did...yeah he makes movies, and yeah he's taking off everymonday to do raw but in the REAL world in REAL hollwood movies the rock cant say i want off this day and that, he has to do what the producer and director want him to do...hes a very very busy man. he's moved on from wrestling...cena is just mad because no matter what they do or who they put him again he'll never be as over as the rock was |

I don't think he'll be back. If he does come back, though, I'll be pleasantly surprised. And yes, I understand about making movies is a better gig and whatnot, and that's fine. But he did turn his back on wrestling to put his full focus on acting, and to those of us who would rather watch him wrestle then act, it pissed us off. Cena's making movies for WWE, he doesn't want to be a serious actor, I don't think. Because he wants to be a wrestler, not an actor. You even said yourself, Rock has moved on from wrestling. If you want to call it moving on and not turning his back, that's fine. But it's the same thing. But you're a Rock mark and you're going to make excuses for him, and that's cool.

This is true. =) I just don't think it's so bad...yet. Now if he never returns for atleast a couple month retirement program with someone...then I'll agreen, he turned his back... To me, he hasn't done it yet. |

Well, after seeing The Rock at the Hall Of Fame ceremony, it makes me want to see him back on WWE even worse. In contrast to Cena, whose fucking melodramatic speech made me want him to die. |
