"Hmm...I must be thinking of someone else then. I'm Ana. And you?"

It was nice to be remembered for something Cas didn't do. However, that meant there had been a potential threat to his reign of chaos at Hogwarts. Whatever happened to the real student who set the professor's hat on fire, Cas didn't know. But he did know that this student better not magically pop up during his last year at the school.

Redirecting his attention to the girl, now Ana, sitting in front of him. Ana. The Slytherin...Cas' memory flashed back to a DADA lesson. Professor Darke had called on Ms. MacLeod. Cas hadn't known what the name truly meant until that class, when the girl sitting next to him had mumbled something rude. Cas had prodded the girl for more information, and she'd given it willingly. It seemed, that since everything was peaceful at last and the Third War had ended, people didn't take to kindly to being in the same vicinity as a 'dark' family.

Cas never minded, especially when it came to offspring. Younger wizards never had the chance to defend themselves against, or with, their names. It took time and getting to know someone to know whether or not they were truly like their family. He knew this better than anyone, fully aware of how different he'd become from his parents or aunt. Understanding this, Cas wasn't put off at the idea of talking to Ana. If anything, it intrigued him more.

"Casimir Dragomeru, though most call me Cas." He supposed it was about time to take on the Lancaster name, but he was a stubborn sort, and the Dragomeru name really was the last thing he had of his past. But seeing as he was in the VIP lounge, it wouldn't surprise him if Ana knew who he was, or at least, what kind of background he had.

"Beauxbatons, huh? I was sure you looked familiar though..."

"Well don't fret! I'm glad to say I've caused quite enough trouble at Hogwarts these last couple years. There's something you were bound to see." Cas could really start listing off all the things that he'd done, but they'd be sitting there all week. He wasn't a brag, but he most certainly was proud of making chaos.

Ana's laugh was soft and flirtatious as she flashed him her brightest eyes. she could definitely appreciate a troublemaker, and now that she thought about it she did recognize him from a few of her classes. But, as her group of Slytherins most certainly did not pay mind to Gryffindors she doubted she had ever paid much mind to him before he was one of her only options at a nightclub. No matter, the more time she invested him the more determined she became that he would be hers tonight,

"So, Cas, tell me about yourself, if you went to Beauxbatons where were you born? Were you as much of a trouble maker then as you are now?" Ana gave him a small wink. She had travelled a lot in her childhood. though both her parents were born in London, Ana had been born in Los Angelese and lived in the US until she was about nine. Her parents then brought them back to London in time for her education at Hogwarts. She was interested to find out what made Cas tick, her usual goal when conversing with someone new. She felt that if she could figure them out, it would give her some power of manipulation over them. She could be very convincing when she wanted to. It was hard to believe such a petite girl could harbor such a taste for being bad. Maybe it was her upbringing, maybe it was just nature, but being good bored her to tears. She hoped Cas shared a similar taste for being naughty. What a thrill it would be to see a Gryffindor behave out of charachter. The thought brought another smirk to her glossed lips as Ana leaned back and played with the tips of her raven hair.

Cas quickly broke gaze with Ana at the question she asked. It had been a long time since someone had asked where he'd been born. Actually, the last person to do so was the annoying nurse in the hospital wing at Hogwarts, and she was only asking him to make small talk. A shadow quickly passed over his face, and his hand instinctively gravitated to the silver medallion around his neck. It had been almost seven years since the 'accident' and he still couldn't get over the horror. Not many knew of his upbringing, assuming that his connection with the duke meant he was just like him. On the contrary, his upbringing was drastically different from Tallen's and he had several places which he called 'home'. Explaining this was never very easy and not without scrutiny. He avoided a lengthy response with, "I was born in Venice."

Those who did know Cas understood where his rebellious and wilder side came from. At the same time, many did not and left thinking he was a spoiled brat. But he had been raised free and without borders, and very often followed on his 'natural' instinct. Whether it be for setting a professor's hat on fire, or telling fortunes. Had Cas known his own fortune, he probably would not have ventured into the Topsy-Turvy today. He didn't realize that his past still had such an effect on him, and wondered if he would ever come to terms with it.

"And you?"

As Ana watched the slight discomfort wash across Cas she felt a twinge of awkwardness and even a little sorry for bringing up an apparentyl sensitive subject. She had forgotten that she wasn't the only one with a hushed past. However, she had found a weak point and that she made a note of.
Ana carried on with her smile and answered,
"I was born in Los Angeles, but I've lived here since I was nine." Maybe that was enough small talk. She knew her mother would want to leave soon so it was time to cut to the chase, something Ana never hesitated to do,
"Handsome guy like you have a girllfriend, Cas?" Ana looked at him as she sipped her bubbly neon drink from her glass.

She would not think of Alex because she doubted he was thinking of her. Always chasing a mission when all Ana had wanted from him was a quiet forever. A beautiful life, they were going to grow up and get old together. Ever since he left Ana never wanted to fall in love again.

So Ana was an American? Somehow, it didn't surprise him. He'd met many different people from various walks of life, it seemed to have diluted the spark of interest. It also didn't help that he'd spent his childhood moving from place to place. He'd seen enough of the world to know what it was like, and although it was refreshing to meet people who had an otherworldly view of life, it had lost much meaning for him. "I've never been to America, but I hear it's...interesting." Interesting was the right word, because as much as he was a rebel, he'd heard that his life would be all the more hectic in the U.S. And even if someone had payed him to move there, he most likely wouldn't, having grown too attached to England and considering Europe as his home.

Cas was taking a sip of his drink as Ana asked the question. His slight choking turned into a goodhearted laugh. Handsome, eh? Well, he should have seen that one coming, but he'd been blinded by the overall conversationalist sitting before him. Was she trying to seduce him? Or was she asking in earnest? Somehow Cas doubted that the girl's motives were pure. He used to be casual about such things and wouldn't mind enjoying the company of an attractive girl like Ana. However, he was with someone, and although she wasn't around much of late, he wasn't the kind of person to just pretend she didn't exist for an hour or so.

"As a matter of fact, I do, seeing as I'm so handsome," Cas winked. No one said he couldn't have a little fun, even though it would be fruitless for Ana. There was no way he'd betray Asteria's trust, even if she was halfway across the world or wherever the hell she was at the moment. "And yourself?" Now that was a silly question and Cas knew it. It was obvious by the way Ana was looking at him that there wasn't anyone for her to enjoy. At least, not at the present. She may have had someone in her past, but then, everyone had a past. "Single and enjoying the variety?"
