Outside of Azkaban Fortress, you can find a gravesite on the coast, close to a cliff, the waves roaring in the distance. In this cemetery, you can find all those that have expired within the prison walls...

Dragon Delondwa
Professor of Arithmancy

Dragon stepped onto the grave site near Azkaban. She wasn't really sure why she was there, but it was nice to be out of the house. This was one place she actually didn't bring Chaos with her. Even though her name pretty much fits the atmosphere, the little four year-old girl definitely did not belong near a place like this. The graves didn't seem to be placed in an orderly fashion, but then again, why would they be? These people were murderers and psycho's. Dragon may have known a few, but she could care less.

She walked around, staring out at the water. The sounds soothed her into a slight trance that kept her from thinking about everything that was going on. Travis, the man of the house, was trying to get Dragon to have Chaos go to a private school until she is accepted into Hogwarts. The thing was, she didn't want Chaos to go to the same school as Luke did. Dragon didn't want her daughter to grow up knowing about all the bad that she and Luke did in their past. If Chaos found anything out, she would just die. The little girl sprang into her mind and Dragon smiled at the thought of her.

Everything was bad enough for Dragon to be staying in Luke's old room. She gave Chaos the room that she had when she lived there long ago during her time at Hogwarts. If all went right, they wouldn't be living there for too much longer. Dragon planned on Chaos going to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. At least she had seven more years to even think about her going to any school for magic. Chaos was her angel, the only thing she had left of Luke, and she wanted the best life for her. She was the reason why she became a Professor at Hogwarts and the reason why she moved in with Travis and Penelope. Dragon also moved in with them so they could be close to their granddaughter, she would never deny grandparent's rights. She just wished that her parents were alive to see Chaos.

Her parents. If it weren't for her worthless aunt, her parents would be alive. But, no, Jezabel had to tell the Order about them being apart of the Death Eater's when they were together and they were caught in a murder. Dragon was glad that she broke several bones in Jez's body, but wished she had done worse. Ever since she put Jez in the hospital, she hadn't heard from her. Dragon knew that there would be a time where she went back and had a little visit with Jezabel to get her parent's money back. It was the least she could do for them.

A small noise broke Dragon away from her thoughts. She figured it was just the water hitting the side of the cliff and walked over to a small cluster of graves. Dragon looked at the names on the stone's that were thrown upon the ground and sighed. What a loss. So many people died inside of Azkaban and their families probably never knew. Who would care about those who have done wrong and ended up in Azkaban, anyway? Well, besides her. Dragon did care, and that's why she was there. She was there to give them the true respects that they deserved. She was there to give them the company they needed and to give them peace.

Dragon sat down on the cliff and looked out over the water. The moon was shining brightly and the air was chilly. She wrapped her arms around herself to try and keep some of her body heat inside. Dragon could smell the fresh scent of the water but also the reeking smell of death, pain, sorrow, and torture. No matter what the changes were at Azkaban, she would always smell those things. Those smells stay at place for as long as it stands, and possibly longer. Azkaban's reputation had gotten better, but in her mind, it was still the place that you didn't want to end up.

Maybe it was best for her parents to have been killed instead of ending up in Azkaban. If they had made it there, they probably wouldn't have lasted for too long. They would most definitely have killed themselves, or been tortured to death because of their stubbornness. Dragon knew exactly where she got her stubbornness from and was proud to be apart of her parents. They were great parents, some would think of them as scum because they use to murder, but that's why Dragon thinks they're so great. Her parents had the guts to kill and that was something else Dragon had inherited. It was almost like it was in her blood.

There had been a dozen times where it took all of Dragon's strength to resist the temptation to kill someone. She always had a problem with someone and knew of ways to torture them. Although, because of the sad reminder of her parents, and how Azkaban can be so rough on souls, she decided to be a good girl and stay out of prison. Too bad she couldn't track down some of those people now, Dragon seemed almost invincible at how many people had forgotten about her.

She leaned against one of the larger stones that seemed to have cost a lot of galleons, which meant at least one person had money. Her back touched the cold stone and sent chills down her spine instantly. Dragon accidentally pressed a little too hard and the stone broke in half. The loss of balance scared Dragon half to death and made her stand up. She hoped no one saw that happen, because if so, she might have to pay for something that she hasn't the money for.

Mercury didn't make visiting Azkaban a habit. In fact, even as an Auror, he tried his best to avoid the place at all costs. It wasn't a fond place for anyone, but Mercury hated it more than most. He had hated it back when the Dementors floated around and he hated it now. Even though the Dementors were long gone, the walls were etched with their evil power. As he walked down the halls he almost felt as if the Dementors were still hanging around. He supposed he shouldn't be surprised if the Dementors had left some of their power behind. It would make sense that after staying here for so long and feeding on so many damn souls that their darkness had seeped into the very stones of the building. He shuddered slightly and pulled his robe tighter around his body. God damn hellhole.

Pepper, who was sitting on his shoulder, eying the prison cells they passed. She had always wondered they did with the assholes they caught. She knew that many people in the Ministry and Order, didn't believe in killing people so she wondered where they all went. She studied the faces of the people behind bars and noticed the looks they threw at Mercury. She briefly wondered how many of these people he had put behind bars. She had never really pictured him being a rather effective Auror even though he had done well as an Order member. Still she never thought he would hunt people down and throw them into here. She too could feel the remains of the Dementors and wondered how anyone could be so cruel. The Dementors were one of the few creatures even phoenixes feared. She had stayed strong for Mercury back at Voldemort's lair, but she had been affected too. She just had a stronger tolerance to them. Phoenixes could not use patronuses to scare Dementors away, but they could use her own magic gifts to hold them off for a while. It all depended on the strength of the phoenix and the number of Dementors.

She noticed how Mercury seemed to curl onto himself so she gently rubbed his head. He smiled and gently stroke her neck.
"I'm all right," he told her.
They walked out of the hallway and into the deserted graveyard. He hadn't been here in years and he felt bad about it. But he had had been so distracted by the war and he never liked visiting here. Of course one could ask why he was here in the first place. He didn't have any close friends who had rotted in Azkaban, although he had quite a few distant relatives who were buried here. The onw lovely think about having a father turning his entire mob family in, was that they all ended up resting in the same place. Too bad none of them were worth visiting. Hell Mercury didn't even know any of them. There had been times when he walked among the graves and saw his last name multiple times and although it was odd, he didn't feel particularly sad, he just felt numb. He supposed it would have actually mattered if he actually knew them. He sometimes wondered if Eric would have wound up here if he hadn't intercepted and won him immunity from the Ministry. Hell, his brother could still end up here someday. Mercury couldn't pinpoint what was wrong, but he knew that something just wasn't right with him. Fuuuuck. Well he could worry about that later.

As soon as he entered the graveyard, he was hit in the face with the salty sea air. He walked through the tombstones, looking for the familiar name. Pepper watched him carefully, wondering why he had taken her to this abysmal place. He stopped at a tombstone with the name Ambrose Powell carved into it. Surprisingly it was as clean as a whistle and looked like it had recently been placed although the man died about fifteen years ago. He could only assume that his father had paid a visit recently as there was no one left in England who knew he was gone. Eric had disappeared long before the man had died, James was in Tibet, and Hermes had joined the man a few years ago. Still it was nice to know that his father had a soft spot for his friends, if not for his own family.

Who was Ambrose Powell? He had been one of Mercury's fathers oldest friends. They had met at Hogwarts and became faster friends with two other wizards Theodore Hooper and John Heth. They spent all seven years together and had gone to Auror school together. It was with their help that their father had been able to bring the Banks family to justice. The four friends remained like brothers throughout the years until one by the one they became swallowed in the very evil they were trying to fight. Theodore had been killed almost twenty years ago during a raid. They had found the killer. John had been paralysised from the waist down during a duel with a particularly deadly wizard roughly twelve years ago and Mercury's father was slowly being killed by a powerful and uncurable jinx he had been hit with ages ago. Ambrose, however, had gotten the worst in Mercury's opinion. He had been framed for a rather hideous muggle slaughter and had been sent to Azkaban for life. They had tried their best to clear his name, but it was useless. Ambrose, going made either from the Dementors or the fact that the government he had long protected had betrayed, eventually hung himself in his cell.

Mercury had been fond of all his brother's friends and even though he had been closest with Theodore, he missed Ambrose's smile and rather cheerful and bubbly demeanor. He had been teh light out of the four friends and seemed to make just about any situation a little better. He bent down and smiled bittersweetly as he stared at the tombstone. Ambrose would not want him to be upset and in a way this was best. At least he was plagued anymore by his own innocence. Pepper watched him uncertainly and bit his ear curiously. She had read the name but didn't understand the importance. He looked at her and just shook his head. He didn't really feel like getting into it right now. Maybe later he would tell her the whole story, when he was away from the dark oppressive hellhole they called a jail.
'He's an old friend," he told her simply.
That didn't seem to satisfy her curiosity but she knew not to push.

He muttered a few words of respect before rising. He gave one last glance at the tombstone before turning and was getting ready to leave when he heard a loud crack. He whirled around and saw a girl who looked scared half to death. He would have laughed if this wasn't such a dark place and he wasn't in such a somber mood. He just looked at her and said, "Oh...I didn't realize there was anyone else out here."

Dragon stood up and dusted herself off. She muttered a few nasty words under her breath and straightened herself up. Today really was not her day and it definitely was not getting better. Someone had seen her break the stone and it was seriously embarrassing. Those who really knew Dragon always knew her as poised and never a klutz. But to those who didn't know her, like now, may see her as a complete klutz that had no grace whatsoever.

"Oh...I didn't realize there was anyone else out here."

"Yeah, well, maybe you should pay more attention next time," Dragon spoke in a harsh tone to try and hide the fact she was embarrassed. She looked at the man and froze when she saw his phoenix. Dragon had never seen one in person before and she was amazed at how beautiful it was. She snapped out of her small trance and focused back on the problem at hand. "You're not going to tell anyone, are you?" she asked quietly almost so quiet her voice could have blended in with the sounds of the sea.

The atmosphere around her was messing with her ability to keep emotionless. It actually seemed to make her very emotional, her moods kept changing every second that she paid attention to herself. Why can't there be a normal prison where there were no memories of the disastrous Dementors? She knew that they were the reason she felt cold, just remembering what they looked like was enough to make her have nightmares for a week. Now, being in the same place as they use to be, it might as well be months for her to have nightmares.

"I seriously think they need to take better care of this place now since the Dementors are gone," Dragon blurted out. "I mean, look at this place. The Dementors are gone but you can still smell them." Where did that come from? Was she actually trying to start a conversation with someone? It seemed to be just that. Dragon hated everyone that she hadn't met in the past and became friends with. No wonder she had very little friends now. Most of them were dead, others moved, and the ones that did stay were usually too busy to meet with her.

For some odd reason she had the need to speak to someone she didn't know. She walked over to him and studied him and his phoenix. The bird seemed alright, but him, she didn't know what to think about him. "Name's Dragon, by the way, whether you cared to know or not." Dragon was beginning to have the strangest feeling that he might be bad news to her. Maybe she could poke him and see if he burst into flames from some weird energy that came from her. Dragon imagined him flaming and running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and she laughed at it. She now knew what she was going to do when she had the chance. Dragon was going to find someone, set them on fire and see them run around. The only thing she could hope for was that person to be Luke's murderer.

Maybe that was the reason she came here, to look for a name that would ring a bell. There was always that random chance that the guy was caught and brought here. Oh well, she couldn't possibly look with someone else around. Dragon would feel naked, like all of her secrets had been brought to the surface if she was caught looking for anyone that had to do with any of her losses.

"Your phoenix is beautiful. What's it name?" she asked putting her attention back on the man's phoenix. Just seeing the phoenix made her want to go home to her pets and her daughter. Chaos was probably having a bedtime story read to her by Penelope and then arguing about whether or not she should have a cookie before bed. Dragon smiled at the countless arguments over a cookie.

Chaos always won because she was so adorable when she began to pout. Her little lips would pucker up and she would squeeze out one little tear to make Dragon's heart melt. If it weren't for Luke, she wouldn't have the name Chaos. Dragon originally wanted to name her Sasha Jane, but he chose Chaos and she chose Christine. Dragon never thought that she would lose him though.

Luke was a great man, and a great father, but it was her fault he was dead. His only problem was that he drank too much and was always caught up in the fun his friends laid out for him. That final night he had gone too far and killed his best friend. It destroyed him and so he left and hid. They both knew that there would be several people looking for him, she just never knew that Marco would kill him. Dragon became angry again and looked at the ground, picturing Marco and Luke dueling. She shook her head and sighed. Dragon made fists and dug her nails into her palms to calm herself down. Now was not the time to get angry and think about the past.

Mercury had always been mixed about his feelings for Azkaban. He sure as Hell didn't want to spend a weekend here and he had seen one of his family's closest friends destroyed because of it, but at the same time it seemed just that the evil should be sent to rot in such a hellhole. At least that was what he used to think until he found out his brother had been a Death Eater. Now he wasn't sure how he felt. He knew he personally could never put his brother in jail, but could he allow other Aurors to do it? Sure his brother wouldn't be tormented by Dementors anymore since the Wardens now guarded Azkaban, but still this was a miserable place and he wasn't his father. It took a special kind of hate to be able to turn on one's own family and that was hatred Mercury didn't have. Sure he could dislike people and there were a few people he loathed, but he wasn't capable of the deep-seated hate a lot of people, particularly dark wizards, had. It took too much effort and it destroyed the soul. Mercury had seen the damage caused by hate first hand so it wasn't an emotion he was keen on developing. Still if his brother betrayed him and decided to return to the dark arts, would he be able to stand aside and let the Ministry deal with him? He wasn't sure and he hoped Eric didn't test him like that.

The more he thought about it though, the more he realized he was a bit of a hypocrite. He didn't cut Xavier a break, even though he was apparently turning a new leaf, and yet he didn't want his brother to pay for his crimes. That wasn't fair. The worse part was the moment they got the hint of Xavier returning to the old ways and Mercury would lead the charge to throw that man's ass in jail. The only one who would probably be happier to can Xavier's ass would be Samantha Moody. But when it came to his own brother, Mercury hesitated? Aurors didn't do that. That was why he quit being an Auror. He didn't have a right to that title. But he was an Order member and they were supposed to be fair and just. Did he really deserve that title? He wasn't sure. All he knew was that there was evil and evil deserved to be punished...even if it was family.

He was slightly surprised by his gloomy mood. Mercury had them occasionally, but he was generally an upbeat, happy kind of guy. Even when he was lost in the Ancient's Tomb or watched Cael get his ass kicked by Voldemort he kept a smile on his face. He supposed it was just the Dementor residue, that and graveyards weren't generally cheerful places. Still the moment he could get out of here and laugh and smile again the better. He wasn't even sure why he was worrying about those things right now. His brother was fine and adjusting to life extremely well. Surprisingly well, actually. But the thing was Mercury had missed the signs before and he was afraid he was missing the signs again. Mercury was no fool. He may not be in the Auror Department anymore, but he still had many friends there and they told him about the whispers and everyone in the Ministry knew about the werewolf attacks and the budding drug problem. He was just worried that all that evil shit coming so soon after Voldemort would tempt Eric. He didn't understand the obsession, but he knew that once a user, always a user.

"Yeah, well, maybe you should pay more attention next time. You're not going to tell anyone, are you?"

Mercury welcomed the interruption even though the woman reminded him instantly of Michelle Powers. Still trading insults with a demented woman was better than standing here thinking about old friends and upcoming problems. He raised an eyebrow as she snapped at him. Wow now he wasn't the one who nearly went head over heels while breaking a tombstone in the process.
"And maybe next time you shouldn't take your aggressions out on a tombstone," he said with a little smirk, "You wouldn't want its owner paying you a visit after all. And no I'm not going to tell anyone, besides I doubt anyone would give a shit if I did."
Very few people cared for these graveyards and it was only just. Why should men who took the lives of others have their graves kept clean? But then there were men like Ambrose...

"I seriously think they need to take better care of this place now since the Dementors are gone. I mean, look at this place. The Dementors are gone but you can still smell them."

Oh and now she was trying to start a conversation? She really was like Powers. Still it would be nice to talk instead of just standing here, even though their words seemed to hang in the evilness that surrounded the place.
"Well you can't expect something that evil to fail to leave a mark on the place," he commented as Pepper watched the woman closely, "i don't think they could get rid of that feeling even if they tried. Besides we wouldn't want to make this place too welcoming otherwise everyone would flock in here."
He finished with one of his famous sarcastic remarks. This was still a place for the scum of the wizarding world and they still deserved to be punished, even if it was only a reminder of a greater evil.

"Name's Dragon, by the way, whether you cared to know or not."

He raised an eyebrow once more as Pepper glared at her. She already wasn't fond of the woman while Mercury found her mildly amusing but also alarming. She didn't seem quite stable and he could hardly ignore the resemblance she had to that Powers bitch. Great, just what he needed, another woman to stalk him and annoy him. Dragon huh? Well she definitely had the charm of a Dragon that was for sure. He parents must have been real charmers as well.
"Charming name," he said dryly, "It really fits you. I'm Mercury."
Well there was no reason to be impolite.

"Your phoenix is beautiful. What's it name?"

Pepper threw the woman as she continued to stare at her. She wasn't some circus freak show. She was a creature of dignity damn it, not some tramp that people could poke and gawk at. She was tempted to teach the woman a lesson, but controlled herself. She knew that Mercury didn't like it when she randomly went after people, no matter how tempting it was.
"She's a girl, not an it," corrected Mercury shooting Pepper an amazed glance, "And her name is Pepper."

"And maybe next time you shouldn't take your aggressions out on a tombstone. You wouldn't want its owner paying you a visit after all. And no I'm not going to tell anyone, besides I doubt anyone would give a shit if I did."

"I didn't do it on purpose." she said. "I was just leaning on it... Maybe I shouldn't take my weight out on it." Dragon giggled a little, but stopped. "I guess you're right. No one really cares about this place."

Maybe she should make a habit of coming here more often. It would be nice to have a new hang out, even if it reeked of death. Then again, death was just her type of place, that's one of the reasons why she was at the grave site. Her whole life, she had been surrounded by death, and now, it's all gone. It just disappeared into thin air without a goodbye.

"Well you can't expect something that evil to fail to leave a mark on the place, i don't think they could get rid of that feeling even if they tried. Besides we wouldn't want to make this place too welcoming otherwise everyone would flock in here."

"That would be the day, wouldn't it? Tourists coming from all over just to see the pretty flowers!" Dragon wanted to puke thinking about it. "Oh, and think of all the rainbows and how nicely the prisoners are treated. I wasn't talking about fixing it up so much that people would want to come here. Well, besides those who already visit on their own free will for the hell of it."

Dragon definitely will visit this place more often. At some point, she will bring Chaos with her and teach her about it's history and that this is the place where the bad people go. Yeah, that's a great way to make sure Chaos didn't end up like her and Luke and the rest of their family. Maybe Chaos will be the one to end the cycle. Dragon couldn't wait to get her into Beauxbatons. It would be the best choice for Chaos instead of Hogwarts. Hogwarts seemed to be the birth of all evil, and it wasn't something Chaos needed. Although her name represents evil, it doesn't mean she will be.

"Charming name, It really fits you. I'm Mercury."

"Mercury? Nice, red, hot, and fiery, too bad the planet isn't livable." Dragon smiled. Her comment wasn't an insult, at least it didn't seem that way to her. It was just simple facts and something to say.

She wasn't sure about Mercury just yet. Dragon knew that she was coming off as a bit of a bitch, and possibly dumb, she didn't care. As long as she gave people the idea that she isn't someone to be fucked with, she's fine. This was actually her chance to get back out their and socialize with people, but why did it have to be here? Of all places to be herself and away from everyone, there was someone there that she started talking to. It's her fault and she blames herself.

"She's a girl, not an it, And her name is Pepper."

"Sorry for calling Pepper an it, I just didn't know her gender. If I had known, I would have said her." Dragon apologized. Pepper was beautiful, but the way she was acting made Dragon a little cautious.

Dragon looked around the grave site one last time before setting her eyes back to Mercury. She finally studied him clearly this time and saw that he was handsome. The type of handsome that she wouldn't dare touch. Dragon remembered Luke and how he looked the day that he came to her for the keys to her parent's house. He was torn, and his eyes were red and puffy from crying. She knew he had been drinking because he smelled horribly. His clothes were basically in rags like he had been in a horrible fight with a wolf. There was blood all over his hands, his face, and his clothes. It was the worst thing she had seen since Jezabel.

"So, what are you doing here?" she asked calming down. Dragon decided that it was best to calm down than to get ahead of herself and make a bad mistake. Mercury seemed OK, but there was still a chance that he can be bad news for her.

I didn't do it on purpose. I was just leaning on it... Maybe I shouldn't take my weight out on it. I guess you're right. No one really cares about this place."

Mercury raised an eyebrow. Wow this girl had a lot of mood swings. He chuckled and said, "I wouldn't blame your weight. It's probably just really old. Some of these graves have been here since the beginning of time."
He looked around and noticed that a lot of graves were desolate and pretty shitty looking. It was obvious that no one had bothered to come and take care of them in ages. It was kind of sad until one stopped to consider who was buried here. Those kind of people didn't deserve to be taken care of. And what of the innocents that were buried here? How many of those poor bastards were sprinkled here just because justice had been corrupted or because they had been at the wrong place at the wrong time?
"Can't really blame them though, considering who's buried here and where it's located."

"That would be the day, wouldn't it? Tourists coming from all over just to see the pretty flowers! Oh, and think of all the rainbows and how nicely the prisoners are treated. I wasn't talking about fixing it up so much that people would want to come here. Well, besides those who already visit on their own free will for the hell of it."

Mercury laughed as he tried to imagine Azkaban turning into a tourist trap, That would be a sight, insane, but almost worth it. He could almost see the streamers and balloons floating around the area. Well it would definitely be a far more interesting place if someone ever tried to dress it up.
"I think it'd be an improvement," he said with a smirk, "And I know the prisoners would appreciate it.'
He raised an eyebrow at her last statement. Were there really people that sick out there? He hoped not, then again there were a lot of sick bastards out there. He had spent most of his life hunting them down. Still to visit this place for no other reason than boredom or because they actually liked it? God. Still he supposed that if there were freaks out there who wanted to take over the world for the hell of it, than there would be freaks who wanted to visit Azkaban for fun.
"Who would visit a place like this for the hell of it? I don't know about you, but Azkaban isn't the first place on my list to visit for shits and giggles."

"Mercury? Nice, red, hot, and fiery, too bad the planet isn't livable."

"Why thank you," he said with a small bow.
Not too many people commented on his name, even though he had to admit that Dragon was dead on accurate. Those adjectives not only described the planet, but his personality as well. He was definitely rather fiery as he always spoke his mind and rarely backed down. He got into more trouble because of it. He supposed he could also be described as 'hot', not just in the physical sense, but in the personal sense as well. He had a very warm personality and very attractive. Half the time he won people over, not for his looks, but because of his charm and quirky personality. He wasn't sure where the red fit in though. Maybe it simply reminded people of him.
"Thank God I'm not the planet then."

"Sorry for calling Pepper an it, I just didn't know her gender. If I had known, I would have said her. "So, what are you doing here?"

Pepper nodded her head as if she was accepting the apology and Mercury just laughed and gently stroked her down the neck. She was such a prideful bird. He didn't know what he was going to do with her.
"It's all right," he grinned, 'It's just she's a prideful thing. If I don't make sure she gets the respect she deserves she gets offended and there's no living with her when that happens."
She just threw him an annoyed glance which he ignored. Hey he was just telling the truth. His smiled faltered slightly at her question. It wasn't so much because he had something to hide or that he didn't trust Dragon or anything like that. Sure he wasn't about to spill his guts to her, but he wasn't going to be all secretive just because they had just met. It was just a sad memory and he didn't really feel like getting into it right now. Still he couldn't really ignore her as that was rather rude.
"Just visiting a friend," he said with a shrug, "What about you?"

Dragon Delondwa
Professor of Arithmancy

"I wouldn't blame your weight. It's probably just really old. Some of these graves have been here since the beginning of time."

"Yeah, I know, but it doesn't hurt to try and lighten the moment..." she said.

Dragon looked around and saw how many stones have been broken, she couldn't keep track. So many people were buried here, it was unbelievably. Dragon knew that a lot of them deserved it, but what about the families of these people? Wouldn't they have wanted a proper burial if they even cared? Her thoughts lead to that they did, but must not have been informed. Over time though, they had to know.

"Can't really blame them though, considering who's buried here and where it's located."

"That's the beauty of it, no one even comes here to let their anger out. If people really cared about those who were killed, they would at least say what they never could have. There should be thousands lined up still."

It made sense to her. Although, she didn't do it that way. She made sure that the person was still alive when she gives them a piece of her mind. It was the only way to actually make sure they heard you. Dragon thought about her aunt and how she needed to pay her another visit someday, maybe break a few more bones to get her point across if it hadn't been done already.

"Who would visit a place like this for the hell of it? I don't know about you, but Azkaban isn't the first place on my list to visit for shits and giggles."

"I kinda came for the hell of it. I mean, it's peaceful and the first place I thought of when needing a quiet area to think." she said. "And I sometimes like to mentally laugh at some of the graves... Only if I know who it was and if they deserved to die or not. I would never be so mean to the dead of which I didn't know."

Dragon was hoping this place would be peaceful, but apparently she came at the wrong time. Had she known people actually still came here, she wouldn't even have bothered. Oh well, she should just make the best of what she has. And right now, she has a person standing in front of her that seemed to be OK to talk to. That was about it, besides the calming sea behind her, it was all she could think about.

"It's all right. It's just she's a prideful thing. If I don't make sure she gets the respect she deserves she gets offended and there's no living with her when that happens."

"Isn't pride a sin?" she asked curiously, knowing she was right. "So, she's pretty much human? I've had one pet that thought it was human, but he passed away to old age... Then again, what cat doesn't think they're human, right?"

Dragon thought about Squiggles. The Salivar family had him for ages, then passed him down to her when she joined the family. They all had a pet except for her, and they decided that Squiggles would be perfect for her. Squiggles was, he was just as arrogant and bull-headed as she was. Oh, and he was also as violent as she was. Sometimes he would claw her so hard she would throw him across the room, weird how he survived through all that.

"Just visiting a friend. What about you?"

"Just needed some peace and quiet. I figured now was the chance since my daughter was with her grandparents." Dragon said.

Dragon rarely had any time to herself, not that she was complaining. She loved Chaos with all her heart and would never consider her as a regret, although most people label her as one since Luke is gone. But, there were just days where her mind would go completely out of whack and she would have to leave everything behind. It was a good thing Travis and Penelope loved Chaos as much as they do, otherwise she wouldn't have a chance to get away. Chaos was too much like her and Luke that Dragon knew she would have a handful. Both of their personalities in one little child just makes a complete monster, sometimes. Dragon loved her little monster, no matter how angry she made her.

"Gotta love grandparents, they are always a life saver." Dragon smiled.

"That's the beauty of it, no one even comes here to let their anger out. If people really cared about those who were killed, they would at least say what they never could have. There should be thousands lined up still."

"It's kind of useless to yell at a stone though," he pointed out, "I mean sure screaming may feel good for a little bit, but it doesn't fix anything. These assholes still hurt you and there are no words in the world that can make up for that."
Hm...it seemed he had grown rather mature in his old age. It was probably just this place. Even he couldn't completely ignore the horrors of the prison. Mercury was generally a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who usually had a joke at hand and a charming smirk that went along with it, but it was hard in a place like this, especially when he considered who was buried here and who could be buried here someday. Still he had to get himself out of this funk and soon otherwise he was going to depress himself.

"I kinda came for the hell of it. I mean, it's peaceful and the first place I thought of when needing a quiet area to think. And I sometimes like to mentally laugh at some of the graves... Only if I know who it was and if they deserved to die or not. I would never be so mean to the dead of which I didn't know."

Mercury laughed and said, "This is a hell of a place to go to if you want peace and quiet. I personally find it quite eerie."
He raised an eyebrow as she admitted that she liked to laugh at the graves. Well that was an interesting hobby. He once thought he would do that too, but then he watched Mircea and Voldemort die and he realized it wasn't a laughing matter. He hadn't been sad for the fuckers, in fact he had been quite happy to see them go, but he had realized how final death was. Mercury wasn't really the type to hold a grudge so he didn't really see the need to gloat over someone-unless it was some who had their head up their ass like Xavier. He wasn't a spiteful person and tried to let things go. It wasn't always easily, but he tried.
"Do you know a lot of people who deserve to die?" he asked with a smirk, "if you do, you might want to find new friends."

"Isn't pride a sin? So, she's pretty much human? I've had one pet that thought it was human, but he passed away to old age... Then again, what cat doesn't think they're human, right?"

Mercury shrugged and said, "Yeah, but who doesn't sin now and then?"
He smiled as he looked up at Pepper. He had to admit that there were times when he thought she was a human. She was so emotional and complex it was weird to think that she was an animal. The term animal actually seemed like an insult. Still he wasn't sure what else to call her, even though he never really thought of her like that. He didn't really see he as a pet either. She was his partner, a companion or a guardian angel of sorts. That was how Danielle had described her and now he couldn't get the description out of his mind. He couldn't get Danielle out of his mind. He hoped he saw her soon. He had liked her a lot and they had hit it off rather well.
"Yeah, she is. I sometimes forget she's not human. I'm not even sure if animal is a proper name for her. She's too special for that name."
He laughed. He had never personally owned a cat, but he had had plenty of experiences with them-mostly because of his neighbor.
"I actually have a neighbor who uses cat as bait for fish that 'swim' by her window. She lives right above me, so i always have to save these stupid cats," he said shaking his head.

"Just needed some peace and quiet. I figured now was the chance since my daughter was with her grandparents. Gotta love grandparents, they are always a life saver."

"Oh how old is she?" he asked politely.
He had never known his grandparents-on either side of the family. His father's parents had either been killed or sent to Azkaban for being dark wizards and his mother's parents had shunned them because they were wizards. He didn't even know if they were alive, not that he really cared. It was too late to try and start a relationship with them.
"So I've heard."

"This is a hell of a place to go to if you want peace and quiet. I personally find it quite eerie. Do you know a lot of people who deserve to die? if you do, you might want to find new friends."

"Eerie, I must agree on that. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen a ghost yet. And as for people who deserved to die, they're already dead, except for one. But that will change soon. She's getting old." Dragon said. Her aunt wasn't all that old, but old enough to be opened to 'natural caused death'.

She couldn't wait for the right time to strike at Jez. Dragon was going to wait until the month she was going to move, that way it would be easy to get away and hide. She had few connections in France, but they were powerful enough to get Chaos through school if anything happened to her. Even if she didn't kill Jez, she would make sure her death would be painful.

"Yeah, she is. I sometimes forget she's not human. I'm not even sure if animal is a proper name for her. She's too special for that name. I actually have a neighbor who uses cat as bait for fish that 'swim' by her window. She lives right above me, so i always have to save these stupid cats,"

"What? Your neighbor really thinks that fish swim by her window?" Dragon laughed. "Poor cats, maybe they should form an army and kill the old wench. I'm pretty sure they're able to do that if they go through enough crap in their life."

Dragon had seen it before. An army of cats. Ok, maybe it was a dream and they were after her, but Moon was there to save her. She had a very good imagination when it came to her dreams, but nevertheless, those cats were no match for Moon. He was flying everywhere, knocking them down leaving tiny cat-shaped craters in the roads. Almost Saiyan-like from DragonBall Z. Chaos really loved that show, at least she inherited one like from her mother.

"Oh how old is she? So I've heard."

"She's four. Very tantrum-y. Although, very adorable." she smiled.

It started. Anymore talking about Chaos, and she'll get a grin like the Joker from Batman. It would be creepy, but that's how much she loved Chaos. Dragon couldn't stop smiling when it came to her. It was only her daughter that could calm her down from her anger, only Chaos that could keep her sane. If it wasn't for her, only god knows what would have happened to Dragon between the time of having her and now. For all she knew, she could have ended up here against her will.

"Eerie, I must agree on that. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen a ghost yet. And as for people who deserved to die, they're already dead, except for one. But that will change soon. She's getting old."

"I'm sure they're around," he shrugged, "I mean if Hogwarts can be haunted, then this place should be crawling with ghosts."
Mercury had always been awkward around ghosts, even the friendly ghosts like Nearly-Headless Nick. Mercury simply never knew what to do with them. He knew that to be a ghost meant to turn away at the end, to be too afraid to go on. Mercury, obviously, had never died, so he didn't know what it was like, but he liked to think that he would have the strength and courage to accept the end when it was his turn. He raised an eyebrow at her comment. It aws true that he had a few people who he would like to see in the ground (like Xavier and Michelle), but he wasn't as flippant about it. Life and death were precious things and shouldn't be thrown around. He had learned that during the war. It was probably why he couldn't fully enjoy Mircea's and Voldemort's death, no matter how much he hated those fuckers. He didn't really regret their deaths, but the waste of their lives. He pitied everyone who had been succumbed by the dark arts because it ruined and wasted their lives. tehy could do so much good and make life better and instead they spent their time ruining the very thing that made life worth living for.
"I don't know. There are some old people who simply don't know how to let go," he smirked.

What? Your neighbor really thinks that fish swim by her window? Poor cats, maybe they should form an army and kill the old wench. I'm pretty sure they're able to do that if they go through enough crap in their life."

"Yeah, she's a bit crazy, but so is everyone in my building. The landlord likes to dress up in period clothing, I got a nudest two doors down from my place, and there's a man above me who plays the bagpipes upside down. It makes sense that they're so crazy though, I mean I live there,' he laughed, "And these cats are so stupid they wouldn't be able to organize themselves into an army."

"She's four. Very tantrum-y. Although, very adorable."

"Hey, at least you survived the terrible twos," he said thinking about his own son.
Theodore was three now, amazingly enough. He remembered the doctors never thought he would leave this long. He really was a fighter, like him Mercury supposed. If there was one thing Mercury excelled at (besides being a smart ass and screwing everything up) it was being a stubborn jackass. It was probably why he had managed to survive the war at all-although his stubborness had also nearly gotten him killed. Eh, whatever.

"There are some old people who simply don't know how to let go."

"I can believe that. This one is probably one of the ones that won't let go unless forced..." Dragon sighed. "But doesn't really matter, everyone dies at some point, so her time will come."

That was the truth, everyone dies at some point. Look at Voldemort, he did. Then again, someone had killed him, but still, he was not invincible forever. Even Dumbledore was killed, and she thought he'd never die. There are plenty examples of cases like those two, but she wasn't about to dwell on them. Dragon knew that her aunt was going to die because it would be by her own wand, maybe hands, who knows? She hadn't planned it out just yet.

"Yeah, she's a bit crazy, but so is everyone in my building. The landlord likes to dress up in period clothing, I got a nudest two doors down from my place, and there's a man above me who plays the bagpipes upside down. It makes sense that they're so crazy though, I mean I live there. And these cats are so stupid they wouldn't be able to organize themselves into an army."

"So, you're pretty much saying your neighbors are crazy because of you?" Dragon asked curiously. "You don't seem like the type that would drive someone crazy. And if the cats are stupid, why bother saving them? I mean, it's survival of the fittest, right?" Dragon wasn't trying to be mean, but it's hard not to say this when someone seems like they hate cats.

If the cats are stupid, they do in a way deserve to die because most of the time they get themselves caught up in death situations. Always getting run over by cars, or getting under people's feet. They are accidents waiting to happen. Though, if you take a cat into a vet that you accidentally stepped on, they look at you like you did it on purpose, even if you're really upset about it. The way people judge is unfair. Dragon had barely any room to speak on this, though.

"Hey, at least you survived the terrible twos,"

"To be honest, she wasn't that bad in the terrible twos. And because of that I know I'm going to have some huge problems when she becomes a teen." Dragon giggled a little. "Do you have any children?" she asked.

Dragon wasn't really looking forward to Chaos growing up just yet. She wanted to enjoy the younger years while she could, even if she was always looking for work or just plainly keeping herself busy. Dragon didn't like to have free time on her hands because time wasted is time long gone, so why not spend it doing things that you actually want to do? At least she tried to spend ninety percent of her time with Chaos. She does have a teaching job, which means she'll be at Hogwarts most of the year, but there's always holidays to spend with her little girl.

ooc: sorry it took so long and that it's short. been busy and lost net for a little bit.
