What do you think of the antagonistic elil? First, he appeared in the second episode and tried to eat Hazel and the other rabbits one by one, but was sealed underground to the far side of Watership Down by the bucks.

But in episode 9, The Vision, the Weasel appeared again as a recurring character to seek revenge upon Watership Down and devour every single rabbit there, but was finally stopped by Bigwig and his Owsla when the Weasel tried to eat Fiver as shown in part 3 of the episode here:

What happened to the Weasel at the beginning of the video was rushed and all we see is Bigwig, Holly, Blackavar, and Dandelion jump on him. The part was rushed due to the series being for younger viewers so no one knows whether the Weasel was killed by the Owsla or the bucks have drove him away for good.

The weasel is fairly unimportant and doesn't appear again but it seems illogical that it was killed considering how big of a deal is made by Woundwart being able to kill predetors. One would think it would be a rare event killing predetors.

Well, a rabbit's instinct is to always run from elil. But I can see that an Owsla of four buck rabbits can take on a sole weasel and possibly kill it for the future safety of their warren, or simply drive it away.

I think it is more likely they just drove it away rather then kill it. After all wikipedia tells me the least weasel, native to England, can kill a hare in a fight. Hares are much larger then rabbits so one would imagine the weasel would at least hurt one of the rabbits if an actual fight broke. The weasel probably just vamoosed when it was ambushed.

Well, at the end of the episode above, Hawkbit mentioned that they sorted out the Weasel, and Bigiwg declared to Weasel, who was attacking Fiver, that the carnivore won't feel a thing when he and his Owsla get done with him, right before they jumped on him. It left a few viewers confused whether bigwig and his owlsa killed the Weasel or not.

And that weasel was a least weasel?

I thought the least weasel was the only weasel in England. I will admit I'm no weasel expert so its perfectly possible there are other kinds of English weasels.

There were long-tailed weasels in the third season of the tv series of Watership Down. I never figured that the first weasel in the show was a least, but I noticed that he had a short tail and he was a little chubby rather than having a slender body.

Though he was different, since he wanted revenge on the Watership rabbits for sealing him underground in the second episode and actually came back to Watership Down to kill them.

That is true, and a point in the "they killed him" column.

On the other hand they may have driven him off and either the weasel's need for food out weighed his desire for revenge and he left or something else got it.

Theres no way to know for sure, but the rabbits don't kill each other that very often, much less something that normally eats them.

Yeah, the Watership rabbits alerted the other animals of the Weasel's return and he didn't find any live prey anywhere on Watership Down because they were prepared and hid or left for a while. And the carnivore didn't know that the rabbits prepared traps for the weasel within the burrows and Bigwig, Hawkbit, and Dandelion threatened to kill him when he was in their warren to attack.

But after he was driven out of the warren, he was still persistent, saying that he'll wait out in the open until the rabbits come, sooner or later. No one knows what really happened to the Weasel after he tried to eat Fiver, since the show was aimed for younger audiences. :(
