SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL for 3/19/05
=========================
KCW took to the airwaves for their second show back. This time they were live from the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After the introduction and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Saturday Night Special" ended, Donovan Thomas and Paul Von Braun talked about tonight's matches.

They talked about the semi-finals of the eight-man tournament to crown a new Volunteer Champion. It would be Jeremy Rhodes and Stevie Scott facing off. The other match was going to be Ronald LeVaughn against Alex Wallace. Paul was hyped tonight about a surprise. He wouldn't elaborate any more than that.

SHORT BUS EXPRESS V. THE HIPPIES
========================
The opening bout saw Short Bus Express take on the Hippies. The crowd was entertained as Short Bus Expressed got lost on their way to the ring and ended up going through the Chattanooga crowd. Once in the ring it was Ed and Moonbeam starting things off. Moonbeam quickly took control of the match and landed a beautiful vertical suplex. He followed it up with a quick elbowdrop and got two count. He made the tag to Peace who came into the ring and continued to destroy Ed. The crowd got behind Corky as he tried to get inspire his partner to make the tag. Ed did indeed make the tag to Corky, but he didn't fair much better as the Hippies double teamed him at every opportunity. The end came when all four men entered the ring. Moonbeam, not realizing his was his partner behind him, hit the Hippie Awakening (reverse neckbreaker) on Peace. Corky made the cover and got the three count. Short Bus Express celebrated their victory.

RESULT: Short Bus Express d. the Hippies when Corky pinned Peace after the Hippie Awakening in 6:23.
RATING: **1/2

PHOENIX & SUICIDE IN-RING
===================
Phoenix and Suicide came out as Paul Von Braun hyped a reunion by the Underground. Phoenix talked about what he was going to accomplish in KCW. He mentioned, if things panned out, KCW would see the Underground dominate again. Suicide didn't really work the mic, but stood there and acted goofy the entire time. They left and Paul continued to hype up the Underground.

"ASHY" ANDRE "GHETTO SUPERSTAR" LEVAUGHN V. HAWK SLOAN
===========================================
Sloan dominated this match from the opening bell, tossing the smaller LeVaughn around the ring. Sloan continued to pummel the Ghetto Superstar with forearm shivers and clubbing fists. LeVaughn mounted a bit of a comeback with a well placed dropkick, but his offense was soon haulted with a power bomb that put LeVaughn into the mat. Sloan continued to display his power and ended the match with his Hawk Slam (side slam).

RESULT: Sloan d. A. LeVaughn with the Hawk Slam in 5:21.
RATING: **

HOLLYWOOD BY NIGHT INTERVIEW
=======================
Hollywood by Night did an interview from the backstage area. They talked about
being the cream of the crop as far as tag teams were concerned in KCW. They also talked about how they would become Smokey Mountain Tag Team champions. They promised they would be the number one-contenders by New Revolution.

GLOBAL WARMING v. THE WALLACE BROTHERS
===============================
Ivy and Ryan started this match off. Ivy used his power to get the early advantage
with a bodyslam and followed it up with a power slam. Ivy made the tag to Plant,
and Global Warming did some good double teaming with a double suplex and a double elbowdrop. Plant went for the pin, but got a two count. Ryan was able to rebound with a well-placed clothesline and followed it up with some technical moves that put the hurt on Plant. Ryan made the tag to Marcus. Marcus went for a flying axe-handle, but was caught with a dropkick from Plant to counter the move. Plant went too early for the Face Plant, as Marcus simple stepped out of the way. Marcus hit a piledriver and then headed to the top for his Flying Bulldog. Plant stepped out of the way and Marcus went crashing to the mat. Plant nailed his Face Plant (rocker dropper) and got the pin.

RESULT: Global Warming d. the Wallace Brothers when Plant pinned M. Wallace with the Face Plant in 6:33.
RATING: **1/4

PHOENIX AND SUICIDE BACKSTAGE
========================
We cut to the backstage area where Phoenix and Suicide happened upon Danny Drake. Words are exchanged and Phoenix and Suicide lay Danny Drake out. Drake was tossed into a dumpster. Phoenix and Suicide walked off. Paul Von Braun commented how great it was to have the Underground back. Donovan was sickened by the display of the "gang mentality" Phoenix and Suicide displayed.

KNOXVILLE CITY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
CRAZY DRAGON © V. ANATHEMA
======================
Anathema took early control with an offense that can only be described as brutal.
He slammed the smaller Dragon and continued to pummel him with fists, headbutts, and stomps. Anathema took the match to the outside and put Dragon through a table with a power bomb. The action went back into the ring, and Anathema missed his spear and ended up hitting the ring post and falling to the outside. Dragon dove on him with a flying cross body press from the top turnbuckle. Dragon followed it up with well-placed kicks to Anathema's face and midsection. Dragon took the match back into the ring and wowed the crowd with his high flying offense, landing a twisting senton splash for a near fall. Anathema regained control with a power bomb to counter a hurracanrana. Anathema was slow to follow up with allowed Dragon to land a swinging DDT and finish off the monster with a moonsault to score the pin.

RESULT: Crazy Dragon d. Anathema with a moonsault in 8:02.
RATING: ***

"AMERICA'S PERFECTION" ALEX WALLACE v. RONALD "SILKY" LEVAUGHN
===============================================
Wallace attacked LeVaughn before the bell and went toe-to-toe with LeVaughn. LeVaughn, being the better brawler, quickly gained control with flurries to the face and body of Wallace. LeVaughn continued with his barrage of forearms and fists until Wallace decided to head out of the ring for a breather. Wallace came back into the ring and started wrestling LeVaughn. Wallace gained control with a cheap thumb to the eye and then went on to wear down the "Silky" one with chain wrestling. LeVaughn was able to get to the ropes to escape a Boston crab. Wallace switched his focus to LeVaughn's neck, softening him up for his finisher. Wallace continued to wear LeVaughn down, but LeVaughn made a come back as the crowd rallied behind him. LeVaughn landed a clothesline and followed it up with a bulldog from the second turnbuckle. At this point in time, Phoenix and Suicide came to the ring distracting LeVaughn. Wallace siezed the opportunity and hit a low blow on LeVaughn. He pulled LeVaughn into a standing headscissors, but LeVaughn countered the finisher attempt with a backdrop. Wallace floated right over for a sunset flip, but LeVaughn countered with a sit-down and scored the three count.

The Underground went into action after the match as Phoenix and Suicide rushed into the ring and a three-man beatdown. Andre came out to make the save, but the Underground made short work of him and tossed him to the outside. Ronald's arm was put into a chair and Suicide came off the top rope, jumping onto the chair. The Underground left the ring as paramedics came out to attend to Ronald LeVaughn.

RESULT: R. LeVaughn d. A. Wallace with a sit-down in 9:15.

SOUTH TEXAS OUTLAWS AND ABOVE THE LAW BACKSTAGE
=======================================
These two teams ran into each other backstage and words were exchanged. Above the Law challenged the South Texas Outlaws for the belts at New Revolution in May, saying they would prove they were the top contenders to the belts. South Texas Outlaws responded with an attack, but neither team gained the advantage as officials broke it up.

VOLUNTEER HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"HOTSHOT" STEVIE SCOTT V. JEREMY RHODES
==============================
Donovan announced Ronald LeVaughn wouldn't be able to compete at the next SNS, so the main event tonight would determine the new Volunteer Heavyweight Champion.

Rhodes gained the early advantage in the match with some good technical skills.
He used a lot of chain wrestling and submission moves to wear down Stevie Scott.
The Innovator of Stevietainement wasn't to be outdone. He used every cheap tactic in the book to take control of the match. The match spilled to the outside where Stevie continued his assault using the guardrail and ringsteps as weapons. Scott took the match back inside and Rhodes gained control with a belly-to-belly suplex to counter Scott's Hotshot Hammer attempt. Rhodes went back to work on Scott's neck, wearing him down with a straddle chinlock, sleeperhold, and a couple of neckbreaker variants. Rhodes looked to be winding the match down to finish it, but Stevie countered a fisherman suplex attempt with a low blow. Scott then connected with a superkick and dropped Rhodes with his Firestarter suplex into a piledriver. Scott worked the crowd a bit, sensing the match was over. Scott went for another superkick, but Rhodes ducked. Rhodes turned and waffled Scott with clothesline. Rhodes locked on a dragon sleeper, but Scott was able to get to the ropes. Rhodes pulled Scott up to a vertical base, and Scott ducked another clothesline. Scott rolled Rhodes up with an inside cradle, and a handful of tights for good measure, to get the three count. Scott was declared the new champion.

RESULT: Scott d. Rhodes with an inside cradle and handful of tights in 11:57.
RATING: ***3/4

Scott celebrated in the ring, but the action went backstage as we saw a figure lay
out all three Underground with multiple chairshots. The figure then headed to the
arena area. The crowd went nuts as Chi Chi LeVaughn emerged from the entrance portal, making his way to the ring with the chair still in his hand. Stevie got on the mic and said how happy he was to announce the reunion of Girlz on Film. Chi Chi got into the ring as Stevie said he was sorry about what happened to Ronald, but that Ronald was always the weak link. Chi Chi nodded as the crowd buzzed. The roof went off the building when Chi Chi waffled Scott with a chairshot. Chi Chi continued to work the champ over and finally dropped the chair. LeVaughn got on the mic and said he was here for one reason, and that reason was around Stevie's waist. He told the "cracka ass cracka" to have a nice night 'cause it was going to be his last.

Hollywood by Night stormed the ring as Paul announced this was Stevie's "ace."
Both members slid into the ring only to be met with more chairshots. The crowd
rallied behind Chi Chi as Andre ran down the aisle to assist. The LeVaughns left
Hollywood by Night and Stevie Scott laid out on the mat. Kitty Von Braun stayed
out of the ring, seeing she was the only one left standing. The camera cut away
as Chi Chi and Andre stood in the ring, the crowd still cheering.
