Man, I _loved_ the main event. One of the best written matches featuring one of my characters ever!

I think it's clear, as the fed approaches its first supercard, that HVW is quickly becoming the best fed out there. As Pete and Jake pointed out, the match writing is solid, but it goes far beyond that. It's the most innovative fed I've seen in years, the participation is out of control, the angling is complex, and most importantly... everyone is having fun! There's no negative vibe surrounding HVW, like you used to see around the top feds of old. I, for one, cannot wait for the next card to come out... I can't wait to hear from my stablemates to discuss what trick we'll pull from out our sleeves next... No one, and I mean NO ONE who participates regularly gets shafted. If you put in the work you see the results immediately. It seems like every character in the fed has a story... some sort of angle in the works.

If you aren't reading HVW now, you should definitely start. If not, you are missing out. And for those of you looking for a fed now that PPW has closed, I highly recommend you send an app to Andj. I'm not sure how much space is available, but it can't hurt to show Andj what character you have available.

A pleased HVW mark,
Bill

I think the big news you're all overlooking is that Larry Mulberry is now EMWC world heavyweight champ. ;)

Really thought those opening promos kicked ass. The Main Event was fantastic. Only flaw on the card was that the Fabian beatdown didn't happen after their match.

Costigan Rex still rules. Add Vaspasian Reed, Jack Snyder, and Miyuki (Plus Michelle Bailey) to that list. Totally got the cute asian girl broken english down.

Kick ass promo by Vasquez at the end. Solid stuff by Rivers. Long card but worth the read. Thanks again.

I liked having the Fabian "initiation" happen before the match, because it came out of nowhere and led to a good story for their six-man tag later, with Stone and Layne crushing Matthew Demon for Fabian to get his first victory. Sort of like a tough love kind of thing. :)

Anyway, glad everyone dug the card. I am more psyched about Do or Die than I have been about any e-w show in a long time, with the exception of maybe the final GLCW card when it was at it's 30+ match stage and not the everyone bailing on me stage (I'm not bitter, I'm not bitter, I'm not bitter...)

HVW's great. HVW Saturday Night #3 was the best show yet.

However, If I have one worry, it's that this thread is gonna be taken over by "cute" banter with Frank Demola and Terry Jue and I'll end up blowing my brains out all over my cubicle wall.

Look here, I've had just about enough of your Seth Greenian babbles of a Matt Damon puppeteering view on the glib interpretations of a metrosexual dominated world!

I'll be as cute and sugary sweet as I wanna and there's not a dang thing you can do about it!

Now then, how come no one noticed that Dr. Doran turned into a flippin' Englishman over night? It's the return of the random Doran character accent!

I agree, except that maybe instead of using "Seth Greenian babbles of a Matt Damon puppeteering view", wouldn't it be a "Dramaturgical interpretation of a Boondock Saints scene representing a Matt Damon puppeteering view..."

Cause every time I think of stuff splattering on a wall, I think of that poor kitty.

You said you were gonna blow your head off...

Ever see the movie...

And uhhh...

I think it makes sense if you've seen Boondock Saints.
