News Central December 15, 2005 ================= # Dream Fujin has found its first ever champions, as the team of Darkness Kitty!, Nobutaka Takase and Super Orange Panda were crowned as the inaugural Trinity X champions at the finale show of the Trinity Starts Now tour. Congratulations to them! # The Trinity Starts Now tour was a success in every regard, doing very good business. It is expected that the cash injection will allow Dream Fujin to run in a few bigger venues in the near future, and will also allow Billy Thomas to possibly sign some more "gaijin" on short-term contracts. # The next tour won't be happening until into the New Year, but Dream Fujin isn't done for 2005. A special one-off show, titled "Merry Goldness at Green Dome" will be held on Christmas Eve at the Tsukisamu Green Dome, and will be broadcast on Samurai! TV on Wednesday December 28. It's going to be a huge show, because a brand new Independent Super-Lightweight title will be crowned! That's right, the belt that for the past few years has been a part of RCW's Super J-Crown, and which has been held by such men as HERO Ishikawa, John Shock, Alex Ripley and Kyohei Yamada, will be vacant no more! Four men have been chosen to compete in a one-night tournament, with the winner being able to walk into 2006 as the champ! A battle royal will also be held to find the replacement for Genji Gempachi in the upcoming NEO-International World title tournament! The line-up is as follows: MERRY GOLDNESS AT GREEN DOME! Tsukisamu Green Dome Saturday December 24 ----------------------------- 1) Battle royal for spot in NEO-I World title tournament: Featuring: Shoji Tamura, Nobutaka Takase, Super Orange Panda, Crazy Bastard Cop, Takahiro KEOKI, Tornado JINTEI, Kurogama, Uchu Koujin Red, Busshu the Amerika, Burair the Ingurando, Shigeru Kota, TOORIMA, Apollo Kid III, Kyuki Shonjo, Wasai Thrillblade, and possibly one or two unannounced entrants! 2) Independent Super Lightweight title tournament semifinal #1: Griffin James vs Darkness Kitty! 3) Independent Super Lightweight title tournament semifinal #2: "Pink Spider" Usagi Yoshida vs Genji Gempachi 4) MAIN EVENT - Independent Super Lightweight title tournament final: James or Kitty! vs Yoshida or Gempachi # The threats against Darkness Kitty! seem to have abated for the moment. The relatively gloomy Kitty has actually been of sorts lately, spending more time with Super Orange Panda especially. The two have developed an almost Three Stooges like friendship, Kitty! trying to calm the fuzzy co-champion. Many inside of Dream Fujin have stated that despite his quiet nature and heartlessness (figurative and literal), Darkness Kitty! is very proud of captaining his team to victory in the Trinity X Tournament. © Dream Fujin, 2005. |
