# Monday's edition of Hokkaido-based newspaper Doshin Sports featured an article on Apollo Kid III. In it, the masked grappler spoke about his experiences training in Sapporo under the guidance of retired legend (and former commentator for organisations including the now-defunct G-Pro) Jinsei Yakamotu. Apollo said his year-long training at Yakamotu's Bushikigou Dojo was the toughest challenge he had ever faced, but he was glad he persisted with it, because he had needed every piece of learning and much more once he made his full-time debut in the ring.

Apollo, who has been wrestling for just over two years, also spoke about taking the young rookie Kyuki Shonjo, a recent graduate of the Fujin Dojo, under his wing. He called Shonjo "a talented young man who needed some direction". Apollo Kid III and Shonjo spent most of the last tour "Trinity Starts Now!" wrestling as a tagteam, something that Apollo said he could not see changing in the forseeable future.

The subject of Dream Fujin's last show of 2005 - "Merry Goldness at Green Dome" - also came up, along with the battle royal that both Apollo and Shonjo will be competing in. Apollo Kid said he was excited to have the opportunity to win a place in the upcoming NEO-International World title tournament.

"I may not be one of the favourites, but anything can happen in a battle royal. If I was to win a place in the tournament, I guarantee that I would represent Dream Fujin with great honor and pride."

# Just days after announcing the formation of his new company, Pro Wrestling MEGA, and his split from Dream Fujin, veteran wrestler Wataru Yasuda has caused a major controversy in the Japanese media.

Today, Yasuda appeared outside of the venue for Dream Fujin's next show "Merry Goldness at Green Dome", the Tsukisamu Green Dome in Hokkaido. In front of a handful of press, Yasuda declared war on Dream Fujin, saying that Pro Wrestling MEGA would out-draw, out-sell and out-last his former employers.

Then Yasuda unveiled a life-sized banner bearing a photograph of his latest signing... former RCW and SPW star and Super J-Crown champion HERO Ishikawa! Yasuda posed proudly in front of the banner for the cameras. He said that he would be holding a press conference with Ishikawa as soon as the international star arrived back in Japan from the US in a few days' time.

Yasuda then said that Ishikawa would definitely be wrestling on Pro Wrestling MEGA's debut show on Friday November 23, as well as a second show the next night, which would be going head-to-head with Dream Fujin's last show of 2005.

"I urge fans to boycott the show here at the Green Dome and instead travel to Towada to see _real_ wrestlers in action, like HERO Ishikawa! Forget the masked clowns of Dream Fujin, Pro Wrestling MEGA is the future!"

Afterwards, reports in the press varied from the impressed to the skeptical. The Weekly Gong questioned the motives of Ishikawa, and why he had signed to wrestle for a company which had no proven track record, and no television deal.

"Clearly HERO has more dollars than sense. He made a fortune wrestling in St Louis, and can probably live off that money for some time. But surely he will soon pine for the high level of competition he is used to. Pro Wrestling MEGA cannot provide it, but Dream Fujin can," wrote Weekly Gong reporter Hiro Tetsonu.

Regardless, today Wataru Yasuda fired the first real shot of the Pro Wrestling MEGA-Dream Fujin war.
