# "Pink Spider" Usagi Yoshida faced the media today, breaking a surprisingly-long silence. He covered a wide variety of topics, and wasn't afraid to stray from controversy.

- On the upcoming four-man one-night tournament for the Independent Super Lightweight title: "I think it's a good chance for me to update my list of championships! I'm in great shape, and I'm looking forward to it. I haven't had too many opportunities at solo success so far, but I'm going to grasp this opportunity and do the best I can."

- On the opponents in the tournament: "I know I'm facing Gempachi... and that's kinda baffling. Why was he pulled from that NEO-I tournament for being a cockbag but not this one? I mean, it's not like I'm not going to beat him, but he shouldn't even get the chance. On the other side, I know that strange Darkness Kitty! is going against my friend Griffin, and I'm hoping that Griffin can find a way to get past that loathesome scoundrel! I'd rather fight my friend in a good, competitive, clean match than those two guys."

- On Pro Wrestling MEGA: "Well, I guess I'm not allowed to play in their little reindeer games. [frowns] No silliness, no foreign guys, just boring ol' mat-fondling. That disqualifies me for sure! But yeah... who cares about them? They're just the first ones to try and leech off Dream Fujin, and they won't be the last. Let HERO! and Thrillblade go there. We don't need them."

- On life in general: "I promised [girlfriend] Misaki [Ishikawa] something special! Ooooh! She's gonna like it! [...] I hope to see all the great fans soon! It's gonna be a hell of a finish to 2005!"

# Pro Wrestling Magazine seems to be the "official" liason between Griffin James and the press, as they were able to snag his comments about the end of the of the last tour, his thoughts about various wrestlers leaving Dream Fujin, and a whole host of other things...

As far as not winning the Trinity X titles, James said that it was a shame that his team couldn't pull out the victory, but that he wasn't too down about it due to the fact that there would be other opportunities for success in the future. "It's not like the belts are magically gonna go away after we didn't win them- they'll be around for a bit, I think, so there's a damn good chance we'll fight for them again."

When asked about what he thought of Wataru Yasada and the formation of Pro Wrestling MEGA, Griffin sounded legitimately annoyed.

"I may be a hypocrite for saying this, but I don't care: it's lame. It's one thing for a guy to quietly go away for a bit, get a bit of a leg up on things, and come back stronger than ever- if Yasuda had done that, then hey- everything'd be coming up aces. But, he walks away, he starts up his own little shindig, and now he's declaring war. If dude wants a war with Dream Fujin, then consider me General Gonna Getcha. I refuse to sit around and let folks slag my place of employment... so, I'm down for whatever."

Griffin then went on to say that he was very excited about the "Merry Goldness at Green Dome" show , because it means that he might just get his hands on Genji Gempachi, which means that, in short, he would do "anything in the damned universe to make sure I get a chance to beat the crap out of him". Griffin said that with a win over Gempachi, he'd finally be able to cast his demons aside and truly get on with his career. While he mentioned that he was looking forward to wrestling Darkness Kitty! and possibly getting some revenge for the final Trinity X tourney match, he made it clear that facing Genji Gempachi was both a motivator for winning his match and his ultimate goal

Finally, when asked about his participation in the NEO-I World Title Tournament, he only had one thing to say:

"The fans are get their money's worth for me, that's for damn sure. They've only seen the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg, if you get my drift. It's gonna be a blast."

# Sunday's edition of Hokkaido-based newspaper Doshin Sports featured an article on Dream Fujin newest signee Bombay Kaijin. In it, the new wrestler spoke about why he is coming back to Japan to wrestle for Dream Fujin. He also said. "Watch the Merry Goldness at Green Dome supershow. Who knows who will show up and compete." The newspaper made many references as to if Bombay Kaijin showing up, and what would happen. Tune in to Merry Goldness at Green Dome!
