# The current Trinity X Champions, Nobutaka Takase, Super Orange Panda and Darkness Kitty! have been training more often as of late. The trio has been concentrating on a number of new tactics and moves as they move into several non title trios matches as a unit. Takase, even more sullen than normal (for a zombie!), has been the quietest of the bunch with little to say to the press or other wrestlers.

# In the latest edition of PuroPro-Japan, the countries top weekly wrestling publication, the following Q&A with Dream*Fujin's rookie sensation "Prince of Torment" Shoji Tamura was featured:

Q (PP-J): First let me say thank you for spending some time with us, and also congratulations on earning a bid in the NEO-I World Title tournament. How does it feel to have qualified to perform on such a grand stage at such a young age?

A (ST): It feels only natural. I am no doubt honored, but I feel more than deserving. Because I was cheated out of my original opportunity to appear at NEO-I due to poor officiating in my qualifying contest with the spineless Genji Gempachi, it's a good thing I won that battle royal. Dream*Fujin would have never heard the end of it. When I heard Gempachi was gone, injured... I could only hope that I had something to do with it.

Q (PP-J): Tell us what it's like, being only 18 years old and dealing with the pressures of professional wrestling. Do you miss having a life? Do you miss your friends?

A (ST): It feels wonderful. I'm 18 years old and I've already accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. I'm more disciplined, more focused, and surely more deadly than anyone I know. Fighting _is_ my life, and I never had time for friends. Friends are for those who are too weak to make it on their own. In short... I spend my life doing what I love doing: torturing. How could I possibly complain?

Q (PP-J): Well, to be frank with you Shoji, there have been numerous reports of you having temper tantrums backstage. Would you care to tell us what those were all about?

A (ST): ...

Q (PP-J): Ok, we'll just say 'no comment' Shoji. Going back to your last response, you say... 'friends are for the weak...' Well, we've recently seen you align yourself with Bombaj Kaijin and Jeff Kujawa. Can you give us some insight on that alliance?

A (ST): It's about respect. Here I am, "The Prince of Torment," the most lethal competitor in Dream*Fujin, ranked #4 in the organization going into this tour... and they choose four competitors to compete for the Super Independent Light Heavyweight title. Who gets cast aside? Me! Why? Because I am younger. Because I didn't rip off the masks of my opponents. I don't draw the ratings. Genji Gempachi is stripped of his spot in the NEO-I tournament, yet he is given a shot at the companies title... OVER ME!? Well... no more! Strength is in the numbers, and now no one will impede my way to the top. Anyone who gets in the way will be hurt... very, very badly.

Q (PP-J): One final question for you. If you could face anyone in Dream*Fujin who would you choose?

A (ST): [laughs] Is that a serious question? Of course it would be Usagi Yoshida. I would delight in tearing each tendon, disloacting each joint, and breaking each bone in his body... one... by... one. And then when he was laying there, a perfect example of my most intricate art, I would laugh and laugh. Ending his misery would be almost... anti-climactic. But I suppose I would do it just so I could start it all over again the next night.

Q (PP-J): Thank you much for your time, Mr. Tamura.

Editors Comments: What a dark, sad viewpoint this kid has. I suppose it's only natural growing up fighting his whole life that... it's all he knows. It's a shame he never experienced the joys of a normal childhood. At least he doesn't know what he's missing. Shoji was very open and honest with his answers and although he was scary at times, he was never threatening to me. Always polite. Even when his answers were bold and intense, he said them with a calm ease. The one time he got frazzled was when I mentioned his temper tantrums. Afraid he was about to have another one, I changed the subject. We here at PuroPro-Japan enjoy watching him in the ring, so we won't hold it against him. We wish Shoji and his upcoming opponents the best of luck.

# Super Orange Panda had terrible nightmares after becoming Super Darkness Panda for one evening. Dream Fujin officials found him huddling in a locker, trembling. He thought it was a cave.

# Norihiko Miura was backstage at Dream Fujin's recent event in Okayama, and took some time from his well-deserved break to answer questions for the press. When complimented on the triumphant start he's had this week, he replied, "Thank you very much. I'm glad I've been given the opportunity to showcase my skills, especially as far as wrestling Griffin James last night. It was an honor to battle one of America's finest, and I hope we get more chances to compete. As for Kurogama; I see I've made an impact so far after teaching him about Wrestling Zen. It will be interesting to see how many more people take notice as time goes on." A reporter from a local Saitama publication inquired as to what this "Wrestling Zen" Miura spoke of really is.

"Wrestling Zen is a sort of amalgamation between physical and mental acumen; dividing the aspects of competition into what can be accomplished with the body's pure physical ability, and what can be accomplished with the mind. I applied this in my past as an amateur wrestler and became a rather decorated champion before I turned pro and tries to examine my physical and mental abilities on a deeper level. I combined my meditations on this with my meditations in Zen, and that is what you see when I wrestle. Mind, body, and strength all fused into one entity in that ring, and that is why you saw me defeat Kurogama and hold my own against Mr. James. "

A local journalist approached the issue of the open slot in the Independent Super-Lightweight Championship match at the end of the Fubuki Heatwake tour, to which Miura smiled. "I won't lie; I would love to win the championship in my first big show here in Dream Fujin. However, if I don't get nominated for the title match, then it's not that big a deal. I know that I'll achieve my destiny in due time, and if it means continuing to work against the likes of James, Apollo Kid III, and El Hijo del Super Macho, then so it is. What I would REALLY like to do as well is prove my mettle against Eric Dane and Tate Monroe. The Americans have been very fruitful here in Dream Fujin, and I think that if I met them in the ring, Monroe specifically, then we would have a very, very good match."

Finally, someone humorously asked if Zen helped Miura develop his physique, which, while far from the typical overblown frames of many American wrestlers, clearly has more mass than your average Dream Fujin lucharesu specialist. The mat technician laughed and simply answered, "Lots of practice. And eel. Lots of eel."

# HERO Ishikawa has finally spoken out about Pro Wrestling MEGA and his role within. He promised it would be "...the flagship of wrestling!" and that fist drop or not, he would dominate and be it's captain and if it came to war, it's general. He believes that Dream Fujin is nothing but comedy junk and deserves the same fate "...as excrement from a donkey!"

# Courtesy: Wrestling Wrestling! Yeah!

wrestlingwrestlingyeah.com's Takase Inoue recently sat down with one third of the Dream Fujin Trinity X Champions, Darkness Kitty! for a rare one on one interview session.

"Hai! This interview is perhaps the strangest I have done yet in my short time as a roving reporter of Wrestling Wrestling! Yeah! I have interviewed a number of stars from every promotion working in Japan today and this one took the proverbial cake when it came to strangeness. Darkness Kitty!, without his hideous necro-reflection of Sanrio's famous figure, might look like a normal man. He is not a normal man at all, so very scary in his strange demeanor. I managed to get this interview, taken just two days after his loss to Griffin James at Dream Fujin's "Goldness in the Green Dome"

TI: Thank you for this interview, Darkness Kitty! You have just come off a loss in the tournament for the Super Lightweight Independent Championship against American Griffin James. What are your thoughts on this?

DK!: ...

TI: Are you looking for a rematch?

DK!: ...

TI: Along with Nobutaka Takase, a zombie themed character and the very popular Super Orange Panda, you are one third of the Trinity X Champions. You defeated the team of Usagi Yoshida, Griffin James and Crazy Bastard Cop in what some are calling the best tag team match of the year. How did this strange team come about?

DK!: ...

TI: And your thoughts on winning the championship and on the match itself?

DK!: ...

TI: The formation of Pro Wrestling MEGA has opened many eyes. You have been targetted specifically by their members in several releases as they insulted your 'gimmick'. Just what is your gimmick?

DK!: ...

TI: Your future?

DK!: ...

TI: ANYTHING?!

DK!: ...

End.

Needless to say, I got very little from this conversation save a headache and heart burn. Maybe next time I will show the transcript of my interview with Super Uuchu Red!

Sayonara!
