# The line-up for tonight's Osaka show - the last one before the end-of-tour Super Energy Battle TV taping in Tokyo - contains two non-title matches, as Independent Super Lightweight champion Usagi Yoshida takes on Apollo Kid III, and Trinity X champions The Rebels Without a Pulse face a rematch against Shoji Tamura, Jeff Kujawa and Bombay Kaijin. That second match is non-title because Dream Fujin owner Billy Thomas has deemed Tamura, Kujawa and Kaijin to be unworthy of a title shot following their attack on Darkness Kitty! on Sunday night. However, they will challenge for the title in Tokyo, as planned.

The complete line-up for the Super Energy Battle TV taping, at Tokyo Differ Ariake on Saturday night (broadcast next Monday) is:

- Kotaro "K-Bomb" Shimita vs Tornado JINTEI
- Hasselhoff SE & British Steel vs Apollo Kid III & Kyuki Shonjo
- Norihiko Miura vs Kurogama
- Griffin James & Crazy Bastard Cop vs Eric Dane[NEXT] and El Hijo del Super Macho[ILL]
- Trinity X title: Darkness Kitty!, Nobutaka Takase and Super Orange Panda © vs "Prince of Torment" Shoji Tamura, Bombay Kaijin & "Pretty Hate Machine" Jeff Kujawa[Free]
- MAIN EVENT: Independent Super-Lightweight title: "Pink Spider" Usagi Yoshida © vs Tate Monroe[HVW]

# Usagi Yoshida finally broke his silence after being turned on by Jeff Kujawa earlier in the tour, and being recently pinned by upcoming challenger Tate Monroe. Yoshida seemed solemn as he approached the media for the first time after the 1/22 show.

- On his Independent Super-Lightweight title defense against Tate Monroe: "He's been really impressive since he's come here... but his attitude since he was given the shot has been shit. His assault on myself, Griffin, and Crazy after our match tonight with the help of those punks was disgusting behavior. I'm pretty upset about the whole thing, to be honest. He seemed so nice when he came here at first, but now he's getting on my bad side... and that's not a place you want to be, Tate. Yeah, you beat me tonight, but you had a _lot_ of help from outside interference... let's see what you can do when you are by yourself."

- On being betrayed by Jeff Kujawa: "He's like the snake that you nurse back to health after you find it dried out by the roadside one day... he eventually bites you, and it's your own fault because you trusted a snake. I should've known better than to trust Jeff, but obviously I was blinded by admiration and respect for all of the good times we had in America. I don't know what his motives were, and quite frankly, I don't care, because I will get him in the ring and destroy him when the opportunity presents itself."

- On his recently angsty attitude: "Can you really blame me? I've been betrayed by a friend, brutally beaten, and been hideously outnumbered on several occasions. Griffin and Crazy are good friends, and I'm thankful for their help, but are we the only ones that want to see Dream Fujin be a place where pure wrestling is respected? I mean, I know I'm not the guy to rally against outspoken characters and outlandish behavior, but guys like Kujawa, Tamura, Kaijin, and Monroe need to be stopped. It really says something when the few people that have the heart to help us is someone are the Rebels without a Pulse. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it seems like everyone in the locker room is loving seeing myself, Griffin, and Crazy getting stomped at every turn. So, you know what? I'm going to rely on the support of my friends and my fans, and I'm hoping they stick with me during these tough times. I'm going to need them."

- On the future: "Well, I have to get past Monroe first... I can't afford to look past him... but even saying the names Tamura, Kujawa, or Kaijin makes my blood absolutely boil. I plan on extracting revenge from them as soon as possible... but, like I said, Monroe's first. I must remain focused, no matter how many attacks occur."

# This report just in from a Dream*Fujin insider:

Scheduled to meet Billy Thomas for a meeting after the event in Hiroshima to discuss Thomas' World Title match decision, "Prince of Torment" Shoji Tamura skipped out on the engagement. Following the closing moments of the show, Tamura quickly grabbed his bags and left the arena, not even changing out of his wrestling garb.

He left in a huff and was apparently still so blinded with anger that he wasn't paying attention to the road. He rear-ended a car at a traffic light. No damage was done to either car and no injuries were sustained.

When asked about the incident Billy Thomas remarked "It's the same old story with Shoji. I'm not going to say anything more." He also wouldn't say whether or not he planned to fine the 18-year-old phenom for failure to attend their scheduled meeting.

Tamura refused to comment at all about the accident, but when asked why he chose to target Darkness Kitty! for his latest attack, Tamura did respond saying, "He was there, and I just needed to hurt someone."

# Tate Monroe spoke to the media following the news that Billy Thomas had awarded him the coveted title shot at Usagi Yoshida’s Independent Super-Lightweight Title, beating off competition from several other Dream Fujin competitors.

“I just want to say thank you, thank you to Mr. Thomas for giving me this honor, for showing such faith in me when I’m still after all an outsider to his company, and for noting and rewarding all the hard work I’ve put in since I got here. You know, it’s a simple thing to say, but unfortunately all too often it seems like who you know in this business, and who you stab in the back is the way you get ahead and get yourself noticed. When I saw the way Kujawa and his cronies took a cheapshot at Yoshida, obviously they were looking for a shortcut to the title, and for a moment there I thought they might get it. But I’m glad to see, here in Japan at least, you can still get ahead by working your butt off and earning it the old fashioned way. I’d also like to thank all the fans out there for the support they’ve given me, which I’m sure also helped.”

Monroe's comments came following the Tokuyama Sports Center event, and before he joined the faction of Tamura/Kujawa/Kaijin in a beatdown of Yoshida this past Sunday at Hiroshima.
