News Central Tuesday February 7, 2006 ========================== # Super Orange Panda Trial series? Bet your bucks on it! Strong rumors say he will get a five match trial series, furthering the news of the split of his team with Darkness Kitty! and Nobutaka Takase. # Takase is gone from Dream Fujin competition for the time being while Darkness Kitty! looks to possibly concentrate on a singles career. # Dream Fujin boss Billy Thomas has sent out a public challenge to his company's singles champion and ace, Usagi Yoshida. Thomas said, through the Weekly Gong newspaper, that he wants Yoshida to go on a "friendship rally" during the next tour. He wants Yoshida to team up with all sorts of wrestlers and to try to strengthen the ranks of Fujingun (the term for the wrestlers who are loyal to protecting the honour of Dream Fujin). Thomas said with the threat of a Pro Wrestling MEGA invasion looming, this was an important mission for Yoshida. # Today Dream Fujin released more information about the upcoming "Heaven's On Fire" tour, which will get underway this Friday night at Sapporo Teisen Hall, in DF's home prefecture of Hokkaido. There is confirmation of the gaijin participation in the tour. Making up this touring party will be the returning Tate Monroe [HVW] and Jeff Kujawa [Freelance], along with a pair of newcomers from fellow NEO-International group, the US-based NEXT - Elvis Sunday and Ty Walker. However, due to commitments with NEXT, Sunday and Walker will not be joining the tour until the third show, on Tuesday February 14. For the first two shows of the tour, luchador El Hijo del Super Macho [ILL] has agreed to fill in, before returning to compete full-time in Mexico. Partial line-ups for the tour have been placed on the Dream Fujin website. Worth noting are three Trinity-X title defences, and two Independent Super-Lightweight title matches, including a defence against Darkness Kitty! early in the tour. In line with Billy Thomas' "friendship rally" challenge to Yoshida, the "Pink Spider" is listed as teaming with Darkness Kitty! and Norihiko Miura on different occasions - two competitors he would not normally be associated with. The partial line-ups are as follows: Friday February 10 - Sapporo Teisen Hall: - Rookie tryout series #1: Racer X, Jet Black & Northstar vs Haratake, Ultraman Zeta & Ice Dragon - Panda Trial Series #1: Super Orange Panda vs Kotaro Shimita - Norihiko Miura, Shiro Namiguchi & El Hijo del Super Macho[ILL] vs Apollo Kid III, Kyuki Shonjo & Tornado JINTEI - Tate Monroe[HVW] vs Bombay Kaijin - Griffin James & Crazy Bastard Cop vs Hasselhoff SE & British Steel - Darkness Kitty! & Usagi Yoshida vs Shoji Tamura & Jeff Kujawa[Free] Saturday February 11 - Chitose Sports Center: - Rookie tryout series #2: Racer X, Jet Black & Northstar vs Ultraman Zeta, Ice Dragon & Steel Cougar - Panda Trial Series #2: Super Orange Panda vs Shiro Namiguchi - Griffin James & Crazy Bastard Cop vs Hasselhoff SE & British Steel - Darkness Kitty! vs Kotaro Shimita - Usagi Yoshida & Norihiko Miura vs Tate Monroe[HVW] & El Hijo del Super Macho[ILL] - Trinity X titles: Shoji Tamura, Jeff Kujawa[Free] and Bombay Kaijin © vs Apollo Kid III, Kyuki Shonjo and Tornado JINTEI Tuesday February 14 - Hakodate Citizen Gymnasium: - Rookie tryout series #3: Jet Black, Ice Dragon & Steel Cougar vs Ultraman Zeta, Northstar & Racer X - Kyuki Shonjo & Crazy Bastard Cop vs Kotaro Shimita & Tornado JINTEI - Shiro Namiguchi vs Jeff Kujawa[Free] - Shoji Tamura & Bombay Kaijin vs Hasselhoff SE & British Steel - Griffin James, Tate Monroe[HVW] & Norihiko Miura vs Apollo Kid III, Elvis Sunday[NEXT] & Ty Walker[NEXT] - Independent Super-Lightweight title: Usagi Yoshida © vs Darkness Kitty!
