Definitely Keening v Extreme v De Sade/Douglas. I wasn't really fond of the program at first... but this match made me care. Brilliantly told story, exciting match, and it made me want to see what happens next to these characters.

DiH 2 is a clear second in terms of just being a brutal match with lots of innovative spots.

Really, there wasn't a single bad match on the card. Heck, I don't think there was even a mediocre match.

I feel a little guilty for saying this as my character's involved but boy, did Jeremy ever knock one out of the park for Extreme/Keening/Douglas & de Sade. Yeah, maybe certain handlers dropped off the face of the earth diminishing their characters involvement [why are you looking at *ME* like that??? ;) ] but boyoboyoboy, it was just so well written that I couldn't come up with a single complaint about it.

And I agree with John, overall match quality was very good. I'm re-reading the whole PPV once again just to catch some of the stuff I missed in my first pass.

Like Pat, I really never vote for my own match but Jeremy touched 'em all and really helped swing what Pat and I were doing with all this. Really there shouldn't have been a need for so much set up but Pat and I agreed that we wanted to try and make not rely on past history and create a little more current storyline that was related to UWF.

I'll agree with those felt the storyline was slower moving than expected. Part of it was logistics. We added in Douglas and de Sade, which was supposed to be more short term, but they became more centralized in this leg. Once they did, it allowed Pat and I to sorta pull back and really add more pieces than we originally planned to. IMO that gave Jeremy a lot more to play with and move things. It also doesn't hurt Jeremy's one of the few who's really seen where and how this whole thing started---which adds some huge insight few have.

I think people have an easier time sinking their teeth into next cycle.

As for the PPV, every match was indeed solid. Its easy to single out HoD-SoC but I think Daniles-Martinez II was every bit as good if not better than the 1st encounter. It added new and fresher dimensions to something we'd recently seen before.
