# Upon his arrival in Gifu, despite an exhausting 18-hour trip into Nagoya, Tate Monroe was in good spirits and eager to get the tour underway.

“I’m excited about it, especially this opening match on Saturday. Mr. Thomas obviously sees Griffin James and Shoji Tamura as the quote, unquote, “stars” of the company, and that’s certainly his perogative. But this match, to me at least, is the ideal chance to prove that I belong on that exact same level, and you can be sure I intend to take advantage of it.”

Regarding the scheduled defenses of the Trinity X titles at the 3/27 and 3/31 shows, he had this to say:

“It’s going to be interesting. My tag team experience is still somewhat limited, and in fact has come mostly here in Dream Fujin. It’s a different environment definitely, one that honestly is somewhat alien to me, based on my training and past amateur experience. Therefore I’m still very much adapting to it. But I’m a quick study, and despite our differences in styles I think that myself, Elvis Sunday and Ty Walker have proven we can mesh as an effective unit. So as long as they continue to hold up their end of the bargain I see no reason why we can’t continue to build on that dynamic and have a very successful reign.”

When the topic was raised of a potential challenge to the Trinity X titles, in the shape of a team comprised of former Pro Wrestling MEGA wrestlers and led by HERO Ishikawa, Monroe seemed fairly nonplussed.

“To me, they’ve already proven themselves to be a failure as a unit. Now if they see this as a way to redeem themselves in the eyes of... well, whoever happens to care about such things... then that’s fine, I welcome the challenge. As many of my colleagues are fond of saying... bring it on.”

# Dream Fujin owner Billy Thomas posted the following message on the Dream Fujin website late last night.

"I have heard Darkness Kitty!'s remarks concerning the upcoming James-Tamura match for the Independent Super-Lightweight championship. Kitty! would like to be in that match, but he's not alone in that regard. Every wrestler in Dream Fujin has the ultimate goal of fighting for the top title, and each title shot must be earned. I will not be changing the upcoming title vacancy match - it remains as Griffin James versus Shoji Tamura."

"As for Kitty!'s challenge for a Triangular de la Muerte match... I do fondly remember a match of that sort which took place in River City Wrestling a few years back. It was a great match, no doubt about it, but a triangular match is not Dream Fujin's style. I feel that those sorts of matches take away from the purest man-on-man challenge. That particular match stipulation comes from Mexico, and I'm currently trying to organise a tour of that country by Dream Fujin, so you never know what might happen in the future, but as for right now, there will be no triangular title match in Dream Fujin."

# Super Orange Panda recently spoke with dreamfujin.com about the upcoming "Shukuen Fight Series". Super Orange Panda was very excited about his upcoming matches and climb within the Dream Fujin ranks, specifically mentioning him teaming with former Trinity X Champion partner, Darkness Kitty! Panda and Kitty! will team at least three times throughout the tour, including a very important tag match against current Trinity X Champions Elvis Sunday and Tate Monroe.

"I will be even more ferocious this time! I am very grumpy from not having been able to hibernate over the winter. We bears need all the sleep we can get!", Panda intoned, pawing at the air and roaring, "I will make sure I do him proud this time. He scared me straight in our match (in the 5 match SOP trial series) and now I am better then ever! Super Orange Panda angry! RAWWWWR!"

The most colorful character in Dream Fujin is destined for good things in his so far young career. "I loved being a champion. I will do ANYTHING to become a champion again, _ANYTHING_!"
