News Central Monday March 27, 2006 ===================== # Mullet-wigged rocker British Steel told reporters backstage at Gifu Industrial Hall on Saturday night that he was tired of constantly losing in Dream Fujin. Steel said if he does not win the Trinity X titles at Kira Messe Numazu tonight, when he teams with Hasselhoff SE and Shiro Namiguchi, he will split up his regular tagteam with Hasselhoff SE. "I am very serious about this. I hope that my threat can serve as motivation for our team, because if we do not win the titles... this tagteam is done. Rock on!" # Elvis Sunday, the orange third of the Dream Fujin Trinity-X Champions spoke to J*Style following the first night of the Shukuen Fight Series tour. ‘The Flyin’ Hawaiian’ was delighted to have won the titles at the climax of the last tour and admitted that he was surprised to come to Japan and win some gold. Elvis saw the opportunity to come to DF as a learning curve, the opportunity to mix in some new elements to his style and, of course, entertain a whole other continent! Sunday said that Japan has quickly become a home away from home and that Billy Thomas and Dream Fujin as a whole have done everything possible to make both he and Ty Walker feel comfortable. Sunday said he now considers himself an honorary Fujigun and was cheering on his locker-room friends as they defeated the Pro Wrestling MEGA lackies. He was delighted to see the Fujigun come out on top. On teaming with Tate Monroe, Sunday was full of praise for the powerful gaijin suggesting that he feels the Trinity-X titles are in safe hands if the trio continue to get on both inside, and outside the ring. Apart from defending the titles, Sunday said he is looking forward to spending some time in the ring with Griffin James and Shoji Tamura. He also suggested he would like the chance to give Darkness Kitty some orange-aid. On spending another fortnight, at least, rooming with Ty Walker, Sunday said that the pair get on like a house on fire but he has never seen or smelt anything quite like ‘The Black Jesus’’ early morning trips to the washroom. Raw fish is obviously not to everyone’s tastes! The opportunity to return to NEXT brought a glint to Sunday’s eyes and, although he didn’t give anything away this reporter for one fully expects the Trinity-X titles to work their way over to Milwaukee. © Dream Fujin, 2006. |
